My walnut wood floor had been damaged by a painter, who then tried to fix his mistake and ended up bleaching the original finish off, only making it worse. I sent Mike the pictures and he agreed to come by and take a look. I also showed him an area in the bedroom that had some deeply grooved lines and he said he could replace the entire section with the existing leftover hardwood I had stored in the garage. His estimate was excellent and he was able to start the 2 day job within days. His workmanship and talent at his craft was unparalleled. I will only have Mike take care of the hardwood floors going forward and will highly recommend him to anyone who needs work done.

Sam was beyond nice. He even started later in the morning, so folks could not wake up to worker noises, like paint pumps. Then, he pointed out some accent tips that made a huge difference. We even added some work to the job, when we realized his work was so much better than the last painter we used. Sam and his crew did a good job. But Sam! Excellent. We saved any comments until he was done painting and when he finished, there was not much to ask of him. He went above and beyond what we hoped for. Lastly, Sam came back and painted our water and gas pipes. Like, wow! That has never been done here. The place looks so cleaned up and fresh. Sam's bid was fantastic and his work style and quality is amazing. A serious 5-Star. Btw, there is another Sam's Painting, apparently. So make sure you have THE Sam. He's great.

Though I did come across a paint bucket with very watered down paint, I tried not to think too much of it. 6 months later I had to buy more paint myself and repaint the stairs in many places because the paint had come off. Today, it hardly looks like it's been painted at all, there are so many bare spots. All the while he worked, he asked me for money for materials. He kept increasing the quote, but he did do a few extra little things, which I thought OK, I guess so. When it came time to pay, he increased it again for no reason. He seems like a very nice guy--promises you the world but does very shady work. I'm very disappointed that I trusted him.

I have been doing research to revamp my backyard concrete for few years now. I even considered tearing the old concrete apart and repouring it. However, there was a big risk of damaging the fiberglass pool in addition to a hefty cost. I have never liked repainted concrete because it looks so cheap. I reluctantly opted for the new concrete re-layering since I wasn't sure how good it would look in my mid-century house. I must say that I am very impressed. It looks spectacular. This company is extremely professional and take pride in what they do. They made sure all of the drainage issues and water pooling was taken care of before they poured the surface. In addition to it, it was a pleasure to deal with responsible, respectful, and pleasant professionals that made the process so effortless. The whole experience was lovely and worth every penny. I would wholeheartedly recommend them to all of my friends. Lilith

We were fortunate enough to find GB Homes and are so happy with our experience. We've already hired them three times and plan to do so again in the future. Some of them talk too much and never get the job done, some don't explain what they are doing and you get stuck with extra costs or results that don't match your vision. That being said Minas and his team at MK are true professionals - they are open and honest with their communication, are always accessible and friendly, and the end results always meet or exceed my visions! I have worked with them on four office build-outs, all of which they completed in record time and at extremely fair prices. The latest project they have worked on for me was the remodel of my home - and this review is a result of that project. The craftsmanship, detail, and attention they gave my remodel was nothing short of impressive. To be frank, after all was said and done I felt like I had underpaid. They handled everything from drawing the plans all the way through to completion. I was provided with constant updates, notified of all changes that were necessary, and given choices on every option. I am beyond pleased with everything they have done for me, and they will have my business (and that of my friends and family) for the foreseeable future. OH, I ALMOST FORGOT, when the remodel was complete they left a bottle of champagne for me on the table to enjoy in my new home!!! These guys are truly a class act!
