Our house buying journey began in the fall of 2019. Though the inventory was light, Ed did help us find houses that were of interest. He would first visit the houses to ensure they met our criteria; so, we did not waste time looking at lots of houses that we would not like. He also helped us understand issues brought up in the inspection reports and gave us practical feedback on each item. He also helps understand insurability of the house - which is something increasingly important given recent fires in Northern CA. He also cautioned us against overbidding on houses, which we have seen with other real estate agents. Though the process of finding a house can be tiring and frustrating (especially when you get out bid), Ed stuck with us every step of the way. He also managed to easily build a rapport with our kids during this process - and is affectionately known as "Uncle Ed" in our household. After finding the house we bought, Ed helped us with every step of getting insurance, clearing any and all issues to help obtain the mortgage, follow up inspections...etc. I even needed help with something that required travel for 2 hours (each way) plus 30 - 60 minutes of work (5-hour commitment). Ed volunteered to help me! He also was ready to drive 2 hours to be with us during the signing of closing documents. We had to convince him not to come as this was too much. In summary, Ed helped guide us through every step of the home buying process which can be confusing and frustrating at times. I would highly recommend Ed to anyone who is looking to purchase a home.

I recommend my realtor, Derek Han, with the greatest confidence! In fact, he has done so much more…read morefor me that I can't even bring myself to call him just a realtor. He has been so much more to me throughout this journey of selling a home! He has been a trusted advisor, emotional support, project manager, interior designer, landscape artist, market predictor, material sourcer, liaison, and so much more! My situation was a little more complicated than a typical home sale. I was helping to renovate and sell my dad's old home, which wasn't actually owned by me. This meant Derek had to navigate multiple parties, different opinions, and a lot of moving pieces throughout the entire process. Through it all, Derek was amazingly calm, helpful, and patient. Despite the occasional hiccups and challenges along the way, I never once saw him be anything but professional, composed, and confident that we would get the job done. And that was exactly what I needed! One of Derek's greatest strengths is his incredible ability to understand people. He has a natural gift for reading situations, understanding different perspectives, and delicately navigating what could otherwise become tense or sensitive conversations. He knows when to listen, when to step in, and how to bring people together without making anyone feel uncomfortable or unheard. This ability to handle people and challenging situations with such tact and emotional intelligence is invaluable, especially as a selling realtor, where relationships, negotiations, and personalities can make all the difference. We undertook an entire whole-house remodel, and Derek was there every step of the way. Actually, saying he "helped" is probably a huge understatement. He practically managed the entire project from beginning to end! From sourcing materials and making design decisions to coordinating improvements and keeping everything moving forward, Derek went above and beyond anything I could have expected from a realtor. In fact, it was Derek who came up with the brilliant idea of turning this tiny home from a two-bathroom house into a three-bathroom house, a change that significantly increased its value! His vision for what this home could become was truly remarkable. Throughout the entire remodel and selling process, I put my complete trust in Derek, and he never failed me once. And then came the sale! Between his pricing expertise, savvy marketing strategies, and incredible negotiating skills, I'm thrilled to say that we sold the home for a whopping $378,000 OVER ASKING! Yes, $378,000 over asking! I couldn't have imagined a better outcome. Choosing Derek was genuinely one of the best decisions I've ever made. He brought not only his expertise and professionalism but also a level of dedication, patience, and personal care that is incredibly rare to find. Thank you, Derek! You deserve every bit of this praise and so much more. I truly hope to have the opportunity to work with you again very soon because you are absolutely wonderful!

You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and always has their best interests in mind. He's honest, knowledgeable, and someone you can truly trust. Even after closing, he's still checked in and has been there anytime I've needed advice or had a question. It doesn't feel like the relationship ended once the sale was over. It honestly feels like we've become family, and that's not something you expect when working with a real estate agent. If you're thinking about buying or selling, I can't recommend Will enough. I remember it clearly being a Thursday night that our landlord called and we were all in shock! My wife and I have had purchasing our own house on our minds for a few years but this situation just forced us to speed up the process! That night we immediately got our preapproval and then I remember my wife getting in touch with a "Realty Angel" sent from above, DAN JOY! His name already sounds like one of those arch angels! .... All kidding aside, Dan helped us through the steps of buying our house effortlessly! We were searching night and day for houses via Zillow and trying to hit up as many open houses as we could find that would fit our check off list! This process was extremely quick because we only had 2 months to move out of our house and the following week we had a prearrange vacation to Cabo, Mexico! I believe we went to about 3 open house until we found the house of our dreams! I remember calling Dan right away and to start the whole process of making an offer! During these few days, Dan was in contact with us about 10 or more times a day via text, email, and calls! It was like we were in a 3 way relationship with this guy! It was time for our vacation, which were weren't really sure if we should continue with since we weren't sure on where we would be living next month! We had no back up plan! Along with moving forward with making an offer with this competitive market, we were also looking for properties to rent just in case! It was just a mess, but we finally touched down to Cabo and Dan was still there sending all the required documents to sign to make this offer official! I swear if he hadn't been so concise, detail oriented and complete, we wouldn't have finally become home owners! My wife and I had no experience in any of this and Dan nit picked everything for us! The real reason why this man is exceptional at what he does is because he was able to push for a 15 day ESCROW! Seriously that is unheard of! On our first day of vacation, we made our offer, and the next morning, he greeted us with the stress relieving news that we were finally "HOME OWNERS"! If I could rate Dan as a realtor, I'd give him 100 out of 10! He went above and beyond for this young and unexperienced newlywed couple when they were at their worst, guided and lifted us up with our own move in ready single family style home! Thank you my friend! We were so impressed with him, we already referred him, and guess what we're getting a little commission on the referral!

The next day, Dan tried calling and emailing me, but I never responded or called him back. At the time, I was not in the market to purchase, nor was I ready to do so, but wanted information on how to use the VA Loan and learn more about the home buying process. Fast forward to June 30th/July 1st 2021, my landlord called me and said that he and his sister decided to sell the house I was renting and would give me the opportunity to purchase it. I quickly reacted and contacted a realtor through Zillow. The next day (July 2), I interviewed the realtor and asked about her experience with buyers using the VA loan. As soon as this realtor told me that most sellers would choose and prefer an all cash offer versus a VA Loan, I became more skeptical and thought that she and her company were not experienced or knowledgable enough about this type of loan. Then, I remembered that I had Dan saved in my bookmarks and contacted him immediately. I spoke to Dan on the phone and told him that I was already in contact with another realtor. Dan told me to choose, so I don't waste either of their times, and I chose Dan! I called the other realtor and thanked her for her time. I was not familiar with the process and did not know that I had to only work with one realtor, haha. Dan had me fill out an application on his website and he immediately began searching for houses in the area. During the 4th of July weekend, I went to 3 open houses. I had such little time because I had to leave for Cabo for the week. I also wanted to move out of my rental by July 31st to avoid paying rent. Boy was I stressed. Out of the the 3 open houses, we picked one that was a perfect fit for. Dan and I stayed in contact while I was in Cabo. Luckily, I had all our paperwork ready to go. We put an offer in on the house on July 8th, and the sellers accepted our offer the following day!!! We closed on July 23rd! 15-days while using a VA Loan in the bay area, that has to be a world record. Dan, you deserve an award for this! Buying and finding a house in a competitive market was not an easy task. Dan was very professional and patient along the process. Dan is not only a fantastic realtor, he is an excellent support system. He tremendously helped us to obtain the house of our dreams, working hard to make sure things like repairs were fair.
