Great service quality realtor ... he treated us like family, knowledgeable and professional. Always available and extremely helpful.

I highly recommend Eric Kang for anyone buying or selling a home in the Santa Rosa area! Eric helped us purchase our new home, and his quickness in responding to our questions and scheduling showings made the entire process smooth and efficient, even in a competitive market. What stood out most was his incredible patience and persistence--he never rushed us, took the time to understand our needs, and kept pushing forward through every hurdle until we closed. Eric's ability to work collaboratively with everyone involved (lenders, inspectors, and the seller's agent) was outstanding; he built great rapport and kept things moving positively. Thanks to Eric's expertise and dedication, we found and secured our dream home. He's professional, genuine, and truly goes above and beyond. We just bought our dream home in Santa Rosa with Eric, and we honestly can't recommend him enough! Even though this was our second time buying a home, Eric made the whole process feel totally different--in the best way. He was super proactive about walking us through each step, making sure we really understood what was happening and what to expect next. He also made communication with the sellers so easy. Everything was clear, organized, and stress-free, which we really appreciated. On top of that, Eric was always quick to respond, patient with our questions, and genuinely cared about finding the perfect place for our family --not just making a sale. Thanks to him, we ended up with a home we absolutely love. If you're looking to buy in the Bay Area, definitely reach out to Eric--you'll be in great hands! read more

Eric instantly felt like a friend and made the process of homebuying infinitely more fun than I could have ever imagined. He helped my partner and I buy our first home together in Sonoma County, and I am so grateful to have worked with him. Eric's communication is stellar and his negotiation skills are razor sharp, while being super warm and down to earth. I came in with a lot of anxiety, and Eric was a grounding force and a master of balancing being optimistic and realistic. Fortunately, it took us less than12 weeks from when we met to when we closed on our sweet new home! Eric was incredibly patient with us being first-time home buyers, and it was so clear that he cared about us finding a place that was right for us and that we would love long-term. We are so thrilled with our home, and if we ever want to sell or are looking to buy another, Eric is the first person we'll call. Eric rocks and is truly the King of Realty. read more

We can't say enough good things about Eric Kang. As first-time homebuyers, we had a lot of questions and nerves going into the process, but Eric made everything feel easy and clear. My partner and I were randomly paired up with Eric on Zillow after scheduling an open house appointment. Before the open house, we had a Zoom meeting to get to know one another. We had great chemistry and decided to move forward. After meeting Eric in person for the first time, we saw how down to earth and personable he is. We worked with Eric for a year until we purchased our home. We were able to see how honest, passionate, and knowledgeable he is. If he saw or sensed something was off on a home, he would tell us. He never pushed us to buy a home that we didn't like or couldn't afford. He was truly in it for our best interest as we were making the biggest purchase of our lives. We appreciate Eric and his team for giving us the best experience we could have asked for, from weekly check-ins, scheduling weekend viewings, providing and reviewing home disclosures packets, to staying up late night to put in an offer. We are very thankful and lucky to have Eric as our realtor! read more

This guy here man, couldn't ask for a better person to help you get a home, for me everything happened over Christmas and new years and that didn't stop this guy from going above and beyond to help me with the whole process and make this as easy and quick as it could have possibly have been. read more

Eric was an incredible agent, helping us to sell our first home, holding our hands the entire time. Eric is a consummate professional with a good attitude and sense of humor. He explained every step of the process in detail and was there for last minute phone calls when we had questions, concerns or needed to let him know of any changes on our side. When the buyers threw curveballs at us he was a trusted advisor. I would highly recommend working with Eric to anyone buying or selling the property throughout the Bay area and beyond. read more

When it comes to realtors, Eric is the very best there is in the business. We are first time homebuyers moving from SF to Santa Rosa and he consistently went above and beyond to work with our schedules to show us houses (sometimes multiple times a week!), gave amazing advice and was super quick to respond any time we had any questions. With Eric's invaluable help, we found a house we loved within 3 weeks of initially meeting with him, made an offer with his guidance, and it was nearly immediately accepted! We now have the privilege of moving into our first home and calling Eric a friend. Truly cannot recommend him enough!! read more

Eric and I had a unique experience in that we were introduced, made an offer on one home (my first offer ever), and it was accepted within about 36 hours! Given this was my first experience actually going through the home-buying process, Eric was a great choice to work with. He was patient and understanding through all of my anxiety and nerves, and always made sure to be an advocate for me even if it could have meant the purchase might not go through. It always felt like Eric put me as a person first over any financial transaction or benefit he might receive. It felt like working with a very knowledgeable friend. Highly recommend! read more

Eric has a deep passion for real estate and it shows in all facets when dealing with him and when working with Eric throughout our home search and buying process. We were super-motivated to get into our first home. Even with a relatively long window to make a decision, Eric was able to get us into a home in a little over a month from our first interaction. Eric has great energy, makes use of solid tools to allow us to collectively pull together information and feedback from each open house, and was always responsive. That really helped to narrow down our home search and kept us focused. Eric also will go the extra mile working with seller agents and lenders to make the home buying process feel seamless. He has a deep network in the Bay Area that will give you an advantage in a hyper competitive market here. We had a great experience working with Eric! read more

I bought my home with Eric in 2020 and didn't hesitate to connect with him again when I decided to sell my home in 2023 and move to the east coast. My objective was to get it done as fast as possible and much of the process needed to be done while I was already on the east coast. I could not have entrusted the job to anyone else, as I felt comfortable with Eric and knew he'd have my back. We knew the market was tricky and that it may not go as well as we'd hoped, but remained optimistic. I managed to get above my expectations on the home sale, AND it all happened very fast and was seamless. I couldn't have done it without Eric's guidance. I've continued to refer him to friends, and they have bought homes with him too. If you want a guy who isn't your typical stuffy real estate guy but also knows his stuff, feels like a friend and who you can trust to get the job done- Eric is your guy! I always try and attend his client appreciation parties and bring new friends with him. His ability to connect with people is remarkable and you can just feel his warmth, energy and passion for what he does. His team also is amazing, as they were able to help out too. Thanks so much once again, Eric! read more

We met Eric organically at an open house in the neighborhood where we were renting. He was an immediate breath of fresh air (and hair) from some of the other real estate folks we had interacted with up to that point. The house didn't leave an impression on us, but he certainly did. We were impressed with his energetic, counter-culture approach - sense of humor, social media game, and overall vibe is top notch. Felt like we found someone who would be helpful, but also make the experience of buying our first home fun and exciting. Fast forward a few months & we closed on a kick ass Oakland home together. Never pushy and always providing valuable guidance, Eric was super honest and responsive every step of our journey. He even pulled out all the stops to help us get our bid accepted. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking for an agent who can toe the line perfectly between professional and casual. We see Eric as our agent & friend for many years to come. AW YEAH! read more

Eric was a pleasure to work with. He gave great guidance on what to focus on, when to make an offer, and when to likely skip the effort. He's very responsive, amicable, and never makes anything feel rushed, yet makes sure the pieces come together on time. read more

What could have been a grueling experience touring homes in the double digits each week with a toddler became fun because of Eric. His patience, knowledge, humor, and passion was infectious. He knows his stuff and really went above and beyond to make sure we understood the process as first-time home buyers. Communication and transparency are huge strengths of his. He also did a great balancing act of managing our expectations while also recognizing anything can happen in this nutty market. And in the end we got a home in a neighborhood we never anticipated we could pull off. We owe it all to Eric and his team. Highly recommend. read more

We met Eric at an open house and the rest is history! We immediately felt that 'click' with Eric's communication style and responsiveness, so asked him if he'd be willing to support us in our journey to buy our first home. At the time, we had thought we had already found "the one" and were in a rush to act. Eric was immediately on the case collecting intel from the seller's agent and helping us get comps and disclosures, but also encouraging us to consider all the factors important to us. After we learned more about the property, we decided to hold back, and we really appreciated Eric's patience and understanding there - it was clear that he truly wanted the best for us and for us to be 100% sure that we had found the right home. When we eventually did find "the one", once again, Eric's fast action got us the edge we needed to get our offer accepted. He arranged for us to view the property before it went live on Redfin (was listed as "coming soon") and so our below-asking offer was accepted before the property was even open to wider competition - a credit to Eric's charisma and negotiation skills! The journey to closing Escrow was very interesting and involved some unforeseen legal complexities on the seller's side. Eric was such a great resource in helping to protect our interests along the way (maintained daily communication with the sellers and their attorney). Based on his connections and recommendations coming through his real estate legal counsel, we eventually decided to retain our own attorney, which was a major factor in giving us peace-of-mind as we approached closing day! Eric is incredibly knowledgeable and well connected but also so down-to-earth and not at all pushy or condescending. We 100% recommend working with him if you are looking for your next home in the Bay Area!!! read more

Eric Kang puts the real in realty. As a buyer in this housing market that feels cut-throat, overwhelming, and a bit hopeless at times, Eric is the steady handed expert you want in your corner. Eric took the time to truly know my wife and I from our very first meeting and he never rushed the process. He helped us determine exactly what we were and weren't looking for in a house and he helped us find the absolute best value on our budget. I am an off-hours self employed professional and Eric was so incredibly accommodating for my schedule. He was happy to meet virtually and in-person to discuss new listings, strategize offers, review disclosures, and see houses early in the morning or late at night on both weekdays and weekends and he was ALWAYS there to take our calls. Look no further! Eric is the best in the business - he amazed me at every stage of the process with his masterful knowledge of the Oakland real estate market, negotiating skills, and his ability to juggle a million things at once. I was really amazed at his negotiating skills. When the initial offer seemed tentatively accepted but the seller asked us to raise the price, Eric had the intuition to know that we already had the deal in the bag, and held firm on our price - and his intuition proved right: the deal was accepted the next day! And not only that, he was able to advocate for us to get additional money back for repairs. What was even more amazing is that Eric changed my life by helping me propose on the day that our home closed!!! I knew that I wanted to propose but was totally lost and drawing blanks on how to do it. But then in came Eric with a masterful plan to "hire a videographer to market his business" to capture the proposal on camera. My fiancee was toooooootally surprised (and thankfully said yes!). By the time we had arrived to get the keys, Eric had already set up the backyard with rose petals, candles, and a bottle of champagne to celebrate. He coordinated the entire proposal. Is it possible to go more above and beyond than that!? read more

Writing this review took us a minute as we could not come up with exactly the right words to convey. Even now I write this with tears in my eyes as Eric and Jung Hee did such an amazing job with our beloved home, it was very hard for us to let it go. We've even mimicked the colors Jung Hee chose for the home we sold in Oakland for our retirement home here in Mississippi. When it came time for us to sell our home we were a bit overwhelmed as we knew little about renovations and how to get the most money out of our home while on a tight budget but wanting to keep it desirable in a hot real estate market. Long story short, their talent and knowledge made our dreams of an early retirement a reality. Eric and Jung Hee worked with us every step of the way, we held Zoom meetings, talked and texted at every critical juncture. The amount of time, work and effort put into our home to get it ready for market was impressive to say the least. To be brutally honest, it felt like Eric and Jung Hee put nothing but their love and attention into the selling of our home. When we had our meeting to discuss offers, nothing could have prepared us for the conversation we had with Eric and Jung Hee. It was like knowing in that instant you'll never have to worry about anything ever again and they made that happen. Thanking Eric and Jung Hee will never be enough. Though they claim to be realtors, I'm pretty sure they are superheroes. Eric and Jung Hee...you two are forever near and dear to the James Family. read more

Honestly, Eric is the best. I got connected with him randomly through Redfin and have since sent his into to a handful of friends, one of whom had an offer accepted on a home after only about a week of working with him. He's realistic and honest while still being positive and supportive, and despite me being an extremely picky client he made me feel like he understood what I was looking for and kept up my spirits that we would find it until we did. He helped me pull together an offer on very short notice, helped me find a lender, and then walked me through every step of closing. I LOVE my house, and I'm pretty much Eric's #1 fan at this point. I mean, the dude sometimes shows up to walk-throughs on a Harley. What more could you ask for? read more

The best! Eric is so down to earth and easy to talk to. My husband and I had been looking for a home for a little over a year and we never felt a connection with a realtor when starting the process. We decided to give it another shot and as soon as we met Eric in person we felt an immediate connection. He always had our best interest and we knew he wanted nothing but the best for us. We finally bought our new home and I know we wouldn't of been able to do it without Erics help and guidance. Anyone that is looking to buy a home, listen to Eric because he WILL get you there. The process of buying a home in the Bay Area is a difficult, scary and stressful experience, considering you're plunking down all your actual money toward the biggest purchase of your life. Somehow Eric made that experience as enjoyable as it could be. He was extremely upfront, knowledgeable, attentive, prompt and responsive to all our questions. If he didn't have the answer to a question himself, he found it or referred us to someone who did. Working with Eric was more like working with friend who happened to be a realtor, rather than a realtor trying to be your friend.
