If you're looking for a realtor who is trustworthy, patient, and genuinely knowledgeable, look no further than Kevin. He helped us through our first home purchase, and honestly, we couldn't have done it without him. Buying a first home is nerve-wracking, but Kevin was our emotional anchor the entire way. He listened carefully to everything we wanted and built a plan to make it happen. We had some specific asks like home facing a certain direction, a bedroom downstairs, and a particular school district and Kevin patiently worked with us until we found exactly the right house. He was available to tour homes any time, helped us shortlist options, and gave us honest, clear-eyed advice on every property without ever pressuring us into an offer or pushing us to go more aggressive than we wanted. He met us exactly where we were comfortable. On top of that, he connected us with a great lender that saved us real money on closing costs, and helped us navigate the rest of the purchase process smoothly. We're incredibly grateful for Kevin's expertise, patience, and honesty, and we'd recommend him to anyone buying a home -- especially first-timers who need someone they can trust. read more

Kevin was incredible to work with! - He was patient with all our questions as first-time home buyers and taught us everything we needed to know about how the process works. He gave great advice about how to figure out what we want, how to learn the market, how to learn about a community by talking to neighbors, and more. He was also incredibly knowledgeable about all parts of the East Bay market, which was incredibly useful as we were exploring and eventually narrowing our search. - He learnt what mattered to us and gave home recommendations catered to our needs, wants, and blockers. And as our preferences and financial considerations evolved during the process, Kevin adapted right alongside us. He never pushed his perspectives onto us; he gave advice, but always let us lead our home-buying process. - Kevin has an eye for detail. He noticed subtle details in homes like small cracks in the flooring, areas of water damage, etc. that we would have otherwise missed, saving us from moving forward with suboptimal homes. - Kevin is extremely well-connected. He has connections with mortgage brokers, insurance agents, contractors, inspectors, other real estate agents, etc. As such, he can make warm introductions for whatever your home-buying needs are, and several of his connections provided us free consultations to help walk us through the process and provide quotes. He also knows which homes will be coming on the market in the near future, so we can hit the ground running. - Kevin is extremely strategic when it comes to the offer. He is great at thinking through offer timing, offer terms, offer amount, how to negotiate the personalities of all the different stakeholders involved (agents, sellers, other buyers, etc.), how to move fast, and how to achieve the best possible outcome for us. As always, he made sure we were in the driver's seat, and he empowered us with the information necessary to move fast and make informed decisions on offer day. All of this resulted in us buying our dream house with Kevin! We couldn't be happier with our entire home-buying journey. We'll definitely work with Kevin if we buy again, and in the meantime we will be referring him to all our family and friends. read more

Working with Kevin was an experience we will always be grateful for. Our home search stretched close to two years, and at every stage he gave us space to move at our own pace. There was never pressure and never a sales pitch. Just steady guidance. As our budget shifted and our priorities evolved, he adapted right along with us. He never made it feel complicated or inconvenient. He simply kept showing up. Kevin has a calm confidence about him that makes the whole process feel manageable. He listened closely and picked up on details we did not even realize we were repeating. He understood what we needed in a home, but more importantly, he understood why we needed it. When our criteria felt narrow, he helped us think creatively without pushing us somewhere we did not want to go. He was always reachable. A quick text to check in, a thoughtful follow up, or a new listing that matched something we had mentioned weeks earlier. He kept everything organized and clear, and he used the tools available in a way that made things easier for us, not overwhelming. Kevin also put in real effort behind the scenes. He drove all over with us, sometimes for just one showing, and never made it feel like an inconvenience. He wanted to be there to walk through homes with us, to point things out, and to answer questions in the moment. When we looked at places that needed work, he connected us with reliable contractors and gathered multiple estimates so we understood what we were getting into before making a decision. When we finally found the home we loved in Albany, Kevin handled the negotiation with skill and care. He guided us through an offer that ultimately won, even though we were not the highest bid. That speaks volumes about how he operates and his expertise. By the end of it all, it did not feel like we had just worked with a realtor. It felt like we had someone truly in our corner the entire time. If you want someone thoughtful, steady, and genuinely committed to helping you land the right home, Kevin is someone you want on your side. We cannot recommend him highly enough. read more

I cannot recommend Kevin enough! His deep knowledge of the Bay Area housing market, his patient and thoughtful approach to our house hunt, and his strong relationships with other realtors are the reason we landed our dream home! If you're wandering aimlessly through a sea of open houses and want to get serious about your search, Kevin can help you!! During our first call with Kevin, he asked our preferences and priorities and proceeded to curate a list of 6 homes to tour. During those showing, he provided valuable insights into how and where to look for a house (e.g. spotting issues with foundation, taking into account traffic from nearby roads, etc.). And while we had to slow down our search a bit for a period due to our other life commitments, Kevin was always patient with us and never rushed us into buying. And finally, as we were bidding for our home, it was Kevin's reputation and strong relationship with the selling agent helped us win the bid! Thank you Kevin!! read more

I don't know where to start with the praise for Kevin and Maria but it's hard to imagine a better agent team. My business partners and I began with a crazy idea of flipping our first home and from day one they led us through our journey and made sure we were well informed for a successful business venture. At any hour of the day they were super responsive and willing to answer our questions and address our doubts - even during the rehab phase they were checking on our progress and providing input and the right resources. Kevin worked like a dog to get my family a lovely home in this crazy market. He was kind, responsive, flexible and concise. We were impressed by his honesty, telling us what he really thought about properties and the owner/community situations we encountered together. He understood our idiosyncracies as a couple and did not try to avoid them or push into a vanilla house for the sake of making a sale. He was thoughtful about observing what we liked and didn't like and asked us questions to understand what we were searching for. He has connections with all the necessary auxiliary contacts you will need as you progress through home buying too. We ended up with a house much faster than we thought for a lower price than we expected. Kevin is a big part of why. He knew when to strike and how to find the right place. My partner and I are first-time homebuyers, and we were glad to have had Kevin as our realtor. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a realtor. Kevin was knowledgeable and able to break the home search and buying process into easy-to-digest bite-sized pieces, which made us feel like we were in good hands. During the search, Kevin informed us of the pros and cons of the different neighborhoods and schools in the Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek areas where we were looking. Then, when we found a house we wanted to buy, Kevin worked around the clock to guide us through the purchase and counseled us on an offer strategy that ended up working out in our favor. I feel Kevin went above and beyond to help us with the purchase and to ensure our offer was accepted and the paperwork signed on time. Kevin was also able to help us with his connections to secure a loan at a better interest rate, and he worked seamlessly with the lender and us to close our loan in the short timeframe required. He also helped us with suggestions for contractors to get work done on the house before we moved in. After purchasing the home, we ran into some issues, most of which were my misunderstandings, but Kevin helped by contacting the appropriate persons to answer our questions. I feel Kevin is a helpful, honest, and sincere Realtor, and I count myself lucky he was ours. You should consider working with him if you get the opportunity because you will not regret it.
