Attended a 3 day golf instructions with a friend and worked with Tom Tarsia. Tom was fantastic…read morebuilding on my progress each day always patient answering questions and reinforcing my progress. We were able to play the par 3 course with Tom supporting us in the real environment, practice range is great but on course is the best! Tom also video recorded a little the first day to show how we started and later progressed. The practice facilities were great! Looking forwarded to implementing the changes and see my handicap come down. I stayed at the Hilton which was under construction. He explained things in a way we understood and helped us identify what we were doing incorrectly so we could fix. He has already been in contact 3 times since we left two weeks ago and I can't say enough good things about the experience. I feel more confident and with practice (which Tom identified where would be the best time spent practicing) I will 100% improve my golf game and my knowledge of my swing. I would highly recommend Tom and will be returning with my 9 year old son. Great father son experience and Tom exceeded all of our expectations.

Don't hit it too crooked or the mounding will propel your ball into the palmetto's. Hog damage is getting a bit bad. Just got new electric carts. But no GPS.

Fairways and green were green and grass was well maintained. I played the green tees which were just under 5000 yds. The holes closest to the next door airport were so windy but on the other side of the course, there were enough wind blocks to make it more manageable. We played fast (which I love). All groups were moving along, even when walking. Carts did not have GPS. There was a decent amount of water and sand but it seemed fairly placed on the holes. As an added bonus, we saw a black boar run across the road on our way out. Liked this course.

After hitting a few balls, while video was shot, we reviewed what he saw. I never realized how strange my swing looked to others. With a little coaching he got it to look better. Arlen gave constructive criticism but nothing to make me feel bad. Just some positive input & slight adjustment info. My husband's adjustments were a bit more pronounced, but Arlen made it so simple to teach him what to change. His training tool got my husband's swing where it needed to be seamlessly. At the end of our session Arlen discussed chipping, pitching, & putting. This was really informative. We plan to hit the driving range & practice green & expect we'll be seeing lower scores soon. If we were permanent FLA residents I'm sure we would be building a long-term relationship with Arlen.
