I played the ruby tees which were nearly 5200 yds which is a good distance. Lots of water on this one although I only put one ball in. The sand didn't seem to be a major factor either. Price was reasonable. As a twosome, we played with two singles, one local and one who was visiting but had played the course several times. They were very nice people to play with and the staff was also friendly. We split a medium bucket of balls to warm up. The driving range used mats for hitting. Balls were not included in green fees.

He gave me a type of peace of mind with my golf game. I now approach playing golf knowing what to do, how to make a shot based on the principles I have learned. He's a thoughtful instructor, informative, and always entertaining in showing you the right way to do things. One of things that really impressed me, is that after work one night, I stopped by to drive some balls. He saw me hacking away on the range and came over to correct me and make sure I fixed the things he had previously taught me. He wasn't 'on the clock' , and didn't have to come over and spend some time to help me, but he did. I would really recommend him to anyone who wants to improve their golf game.

If you have ever thought about trying the game of golf...then this is the place you need to come to for outstanding golf instruction. These golf classes caters to ladies only. And the classes are limited to 6 students. This way, you get personal attention & instruction. The 10 hour class I attended , met Monday - Friday for 2 hours a day. Also, the instructor offers private lessons for both men and women. Sandra Chester is the LPGA teaching professional that will guide you through the basics along with her great assistant Kim. They have excellent booklets, with great illustrations for both right and left handed golfers. The booklets cover everything from general golf course information to equipment that you will need. From day 1 we not only had indoor class time, we also headed outside for hands on putting. I would truly recommend these classes to all ladies from the beginners to those who just want to learn the correct way to stand, hold your club, or just improve your game. Thanks to Sandra and Kim, I now feel that I can play a game and not make a total fool of myself. These ladies know the game of golf but more importantly, they know how to teach the rest of us the game!!! I plan on taking a few private lessons just to refine my swing.

Don't hit it too crooked or the mounding will propel your ball into the palmetto's. Hog damage is getting a bit bad. Just got new electric carts. But no GPS.

We hit off mats but I appreciated the different grass lengths of the mats to give you some variety. I liked the course. It was in good condition. Fairways and green were green and grass was well maintained. I played the green tees which were just under 5000 yds. The holes closest to the next door airport were so windy but on the other side of the course, there were enough wind blocks to make it more manageable. We played fast (which I love). All groups were moving along, even when walking. Carts did not have GPS. There was a decent amount of water and sand but it seemed fairly placed on the holes. As an added bonus, we saw a black boar run across the road on our way out. Liked this course.
