I called to schedule service and they told me it would be 6 weeks - I said again I don't need regular service I have an issue on a less than year old car. They refused to give me an earlier appointment as they didn't have openings. I booked at Modern Mazda in Thomaston got in that week and it turned out Liberty did not properly seal the oil pan on the previous oil change so the leak was actually their fault. I will never return to Liberty. Modern Mazda has been amazing to deal with and so helpful. Buy and do service with them is my recommendation.

I called around and a mechanic, who could not do the complicated job, suggested European Motors. He said that the mechanic is good and HONEST. Sure enough, the estimate was scheduled for two days and cost a lot, but was, almost 50% cheaper (thousands of dollars) than what the dealer wanted. He explained the process and showed me parts. Although replacement was not absolutely necessary, he noted doing so could improve ride quality and handling. I opted for the improved handling. He also reported that the front brakes were causing shimmy so I followed his recommendation and replaced the pads and rotors. I'd had another auto guy tell me I needed new brakes, new transmission and engine mounts and a bunch of other repairs, so decided to get a quote a 'south street auto' Kevin the owner said I only needed brake bracket parts and cleaning, and something with the power steering but that my brakes were almost new and the engine looked great. I asked him to do everything on the car while I was there to make sure it was safe for my college aged son to drive and it all totaled $414. I saved a few thousand by coming here. I noted that every guy that came in was a 50-70 year old local who had obviously been taking their cars there for years. This is now my go-to auto place. Kevin could have told me anything was wrong with my car and I'd have no clue but he obviously runs a honest and extremely fair priced.

I have a coupon for $49.99 for the total cost of an oil change. Can't beat that price. Definitely would recommend. While you wait they have a wonderful selection of drinks and goodies you can help yourself too. They look over your whole car and let you know what needs to addressed with issues arising. After having the car inspected for a wrap on the top, a reputable company informed us that the car has no ceramic coating. We were shocked, so we had it looked at by another company known for ceramic coatings, and they confirmed there was no coating on the car. Both companies put their findings in writing. We called them up, and they claimed to have done the coating but had no solution for us. Understandably, we are very upset; we gave them a chance to offer a solution or make it right, and they basically just said, "we did it," and that was it. The car also has swirl marks and did not undergo proper paint correction before it was "coated." Walking out after spending $100,000, we should be 100% happy, and we definitely aren't. We feel like we were swindled. I will give two stars because the salesman and the people who gave us the car tutorial and set up were very kind and informative. However, their response to a very valid complaint is unacceptable.

Within the first 3 months the CUE system stopped working twice and only displayed a black screen. As a result, the radio, heat, back up camera, staring wheel controls, and parking assist do not work. Stephens reset the system and it would work for a few weeks and go out again. In addition, the car does not start up at least once a week where I have to continue to hit the push to start until it eventually starts. Most recently, the car has had an issue shifting into drive. Update: I still a little disappointed that I had so many issues with the car within the first few months however Stephens has gone above and behind to resolve the issue especially the service department and Bryan the service manager. I was so frustrated with the issues I hung up on Bryan when I was advised on how much it would cost. Instead of getting upset and giving up Bryan called the head office and found a program that would cover the majority of the cost. Instead of taking it personal he understood my frustration and continued to help. He called me several times to provide updates of the status and resolved the issue fully. One would not expect to have so many issues within a year after paying $30k on a vehicle. However, based on my experience with the service department I would say the issues I had were just and abnormally which happens. Based on the service and resolution I would have no problem buying from Stephens again or recommending them to others. I truly appreciate the work the service department and Bryan did to correct the issues with my car. Great guy!
