The next morning, the chipper superhero (we will call him Trailblazer) optimistically announced to the family that he had found some fellow superheroes of the tire world at Tire Discount Center. He headed out while the fam cuddled in for some Scooby Do cartoons, and was back within 30 min. The team dropped everything they were doing, lifted the camper while attached to the car, and had those tires replaced in a matter of minutes (Trailblazer approximates 12 minutes). What a great team! It was like a NASCAR pit crew in there! Trailblazer met his match, and thankfully they were fighting for the same team. Bring your torn up tires to Tire Discount Center!

I jumped it and headed to AutoZone on Dolson Ave on the advice of a relative. I was admittedly a little skeptical they'd do more than sell me a new battery (and that I'd have to wait for a weekday to find someone to install it) but I was worrying needlessly :). A female associate whose name I regrettably didn't catch went above and beyond in both selling me the battery and installing it, right there and then. It was the easiest experience and I'm so grateful something I expected to turn into a headache ended up being barely a blip on my radar of things to get done that day. (If she sees this by any chance - thank you again! You're awesome!) I've previously visited this store to purchase items for my car, as well, and it's always neat, clean, and the associates are always polite and helpful. Diego was nice enough to help us get checked in and he told us that it would take around 45 minutes. We left the store and returned around 40 minutes later to see how everything was going. We returned to the parking lot to find my car parked differently than how I left it so we walked inside excited to see my car completed. WRONG!!! After It took us another 5 minutes to find someone to help us they told me that they were unable to put the tires on my car, they said they couldn't chance taking the lug nuts off my car and damaging the vehicle. Mind you I hadn't received a text or a call explaining the issue prior to me returning to the store. To top it all off the employee put the tires in my truck and basically told me that it was my problem now because I paid online. The employees were so pre-occupied that they couldn't even give suggestions or sincere apologies. I will absolutely never EVER go back to get any work done. Shame on me for thinking Walmart could ever exceed my exceptions.

Instead, he pointed us to a Camaro with noticeable wear and tear on the driver's side door. It came across as if he assumed we couldn't afford a Lexus. It's pretty disappointing to be met with a sales representative who seems judgmental rather than genuinely helpful.

What kind of business is that? Called and called for a copy of my paperwork stating they repaired it and all carmine can say is Ricks on vacation! Must be nice. Hope he didn't void my lifetime warranty! Time will tell next time i go to dealer. One other time I supplied calipers n picked up truck, pedal went to flooor. Looked all brake fluid on ground, called rick he said I'll pick it up. Went to get truck he charged me towing (his tow truck) and told me a part of the calipers was defective. They had no business or authorization to be inside of my car pulling out panels. When I confronted them and pressed for answers they admitted there was another crv that they got mixed up in. I got paper work and pictures of the damage and that they touched the wrong car. My appointment was at 11am I didn't leave the place till 4:30 due to confronting them on the damage they did and that they were working on the wrong car and breaking my panels. At the very least they could have reimbursed me for being such a horrible place of business and leaving my car in a state that looked like thieves broke in. That's the last time I saw my car in that state with panels hanging and cracks in my car panels is when my car was broken into by thieves. EXTREMELY SAD they won't reimburse me for the $302.82 for my tires alignment and back tire rotation for such a horrible mistake and damage to property not to mention wasting my valuable time. Firestone corporate office just keeps saying they'll get back to me in 2 to 3 days. When the 2 to 3 days came and went I called to be told 2 to 3 days more. So if you think corporate is going to make the situation better don't hold your breath. It was clear our vehicle was not a priority to…read moreexpedite the process. 2) For the majority of the five weeks if I got an update, I had to show up in person because my phone calls were not returned most of the time. 3) I asked for a full assessment prior to fixing because I didn't want to spend too much money. They finally fixed the original problem but then afterwards they identified another problem that would not pass inspection. So now if I wanted it to pass inspection, I have to pay more than twice what I originally agreed. I told service rep if I knew this ahead of time I wouldn't have done the original repairs. I would have not fixed it at all and traded it in. It is clear that they are understaffed and over worked. I'm sure they are nice people but my experience was not good at all. I would not buy a car there or get any additional service.
