Rack and wings and side of cold slaw
Annie K.

Okay 5 stars for the bomb fooddd and cool they have such a spacious place to watch UFC fights. Arrived 6:40 ish Sat night to watch Jake Paul and Nate Diaz fight. This place must have 15 tv screens in various places. Better to come early to get a better seat on the high tops. We sat at the lower table in the pool table area and it was straining on the neck to have to look up at the screens. The food was bomb. Esp right after kayaking, we ordered rack of ribs and chicken wings and cold slaw. I tried a friend's tater tots and they were super good.. almost fluffy and perfectly seasoned, not salty at all. The sauce on the ribs is very bold heavily covered but it's pretty good.. chicken wings were very good. Nothing too salty. Also have a wide selection of beers. We enjoyed watching the game tho it went pretty late and i would just bring ear plugs next time bc it was a bit loud for me.

Trivia night review: REALLY FUN! Would 100% do it again. Our host was great, our wings were absolutely delicious, the vibes was really fun. Our group was just us 2 ... so we lost to a group of 6 older gentlemen with so much wisdom so LOL we had no chance. Still had fun just participating though. Might try to come back again next this week :) Food: 7/10 Service: 8/10 Vibes: 7/10 Value: 7/10

Way overcooked ribs and fries, tries to eat one rib and had to drink entire glass of soda to wash it down.

Walked in and only 5 people seated at the bar on the right side, one table of about 7 people seated at one table on stools drinking beverages, and two people in back playing pool...no greeting or acknowledgement of the two of us as we entered and then seated ourselves. Should've taken our first clue from lack of acknowledgement and also that no one was eating anything but we ordered anyways, and it was incredible how long it took to even receive our food...six ribs and side of sweet potato fries. Huge mistake. Ribs were like sawdust jerky and the fries were chewy dehydrated chips. The one rib I did try to eat crackled like an old bone breaking and drinking my entire glass of soda was the only way to wash it down. The only good thing here is the many TV screens broadcasting sports. Not worth a visit at all.

2nd place!

I quite like the food here! I dropped by on a Monday around 6:30 and the bar was fairly empty. I ordered and got my food very quickly. It seemed like karaoke was going to start soon. I got the pork ribs and pork sliders. I personally enjoyed both, and the Mac & cheese and tator tots were perfect. I appreciate the onions and pickles on the side as well.

Speed Friending and Bar Games?!

This gem has excellent drink specials and solid food! They have a good crowd and sometimes have Speed Friending/dating with tabletop games on some nights. It's called Speed Game Events.

ECR is the best pub around . Great bbq beer and mix drinks. Great vibe there. Loaded with TVs . Staff is incredibly friendly.

Platter #2 with wings instead of ribs because they ran out. Still awesome.

It's 9pm and I'm just walking down Laurel Street, which by the way has some REALLY good spots, they really do, and then. THEN. I hear it. Pianos. Two of them. Are they fighting?? No wait, they're DUELING. Two guys absolutely going at it on the keys, taking requests, and the crowd is just vibing. I mean really vibing. The cocktails are flowing, people are singing, and somewhere in the back of my head a little voice says "this is going to be a late night." I did not listen to that voice. No regrets. The whiskey selection is, and I say this with complete authority and only slightly blurry vision, "surprisingly incredible". The cocktails are also dialed in, they've got concoctions on the menu that you may have never heard of, or just pick the vibe you're going for and trust the process. I trusted the process. Multiple times. I used to go to Savannah Jazz back in the day. RIP, still not over it, but honestly?? This place might actually be BETTER. I said what I said. The music hits different when it's right in the middle of the whole room instead of tucked in the back somewhere. Oh and there's an outdoor area too for when you need some of that cool peninsula night air to... recalibrate. I used it. It helped. Briefly.

Rouge is truly THE BEST!…read more We first discovered Rouge while planning a company event, and from our very first meeting, the team was absolutely wonderful. Welcoming, accommodating, flexible, and genuinely focused on making sure everything was perfect. That experience immediately made us fans, and we've been coming back ever since. The outdoor patio is beautiful, the interior is warm and charming, the wine selection is always interesting, and the food has never disappointed. It's the kind of place where you can settle in and enjoy a relaxed, leisurely evening without ever feeling rushed. What really sets Rouge apart, though, is the service. The team is first-rate and has a way of making you feel less like a customer and more like family. I even brought my boss here while she was visiting from out of the country, and she still talks about the incredible wine flight we had! Rouge is one of those special places that consistently gets everything right. Great food, great wine, beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional people. Highly recommend!

It was SO WORTH IT. Such a nice little bar-section offering a comfortable space, great service, and a good selection of beers, cocktails, and even food. Located just next to Box, the Caltrain Station, and facing the Middlefield Promenade, this discrete & small bar is easy to miss. You'd have to look for Curry Pizza House and it's immediately next door. The room is bright, airy, clean, and well layed out. It has a big bar counter, and some smaller tables & cafe tables to accomodate maybe 20-30 people. It has 3 TV screens going on all day long showing local sporting events like Valkyrie's, Warriors, College Basketball, MLBaseball, Soccer, and College & NFL football games. It has tall ceilings, lots of airy space, it's bright, clean, and spacious for being so small. The bar is stocked with local craft beers, ciders, IPA's, hazy's, lagers, Pilsner's, Stouts, and ales. They even make good cocktails here. We happened upon Happy Hour here before going to a 7pm movie, so we had to try it. I tried the 1911 Cider, a Hazy IPA, and a Lager, while my friend tried a Sour, Pilsner, and a couple of cocktails like the Hibiscus Highball & Apple Maple Barrel Bourbon. Every drink was delicious & reasonably priced, esp during happy hour ($7 taps, $2 off cocktails). Service was excellent from the sole bartender. He was attentive, helpful, nice, and engaging. He serves excellent drinks, with a friendly & professional demeanor. He even guided us around to ordering food, and we got some small bites such as the Desi Garlic Sticks, Masa Chips, and the Onion Samosa. You can even order anything off the menu from the Curry Pizza House next door, we will try that next time. The food was excellent, fresh, hot, tasty, and served in reasonably-priced & very big portions. The garlic sticks were particularly good, and not even sticks, but equivalent to a small pizza-sized, such a great value for $10. Will be back again, this is my new favorite bar in DTRWC. I love the atmosphere, service, drink selection, small food bites, and most of all, the cheap prices, considering that everything in this area is very expensive. Can't wait to try more drinks, food, and spending more time here. It's very casual and bright, and doesn't have the feel of a singles meat-market bar, dive bar, or a techie gathering hole full of attitude & testosterone. It is very casual, friendly, relaxed, and fun here. They play soft modern music in the background, which lends to an upbeat & fun atmosphere, and it is a nice place to unwind, pre-game, or just relax and watch a few sporting events on TV while snacking on appetizers & washing everything down with some great drinks. 5/5, best new bar I've discovered in a long time, quite by accident. I never even noticed or knew that this place existed. Hidden Tap is appropriately named, it is quite hidden, but now that I know it's there, I'll surely come back every time I'm in this area, which is often.

It was about 85% ice, and the margarita had so much salt covering the entire side of the glass (not just the rim) that it was messy and difficult to drink. I have been to Terun in PA a few times too, so was curious to try. The space is rather small inside and we didn't have a reservation so we were seated outside which for placement, was fine. But unfortunately I think our waiter had both tables inside and outside, so there were times unfortunately we were having to flag someone down. Unfortunately I don't have photos of everything we ordered. But the two important ones, I managed to include. They have a steak on the menu which was DIVINE. Pricey, but I was treating myself since I was excited to be eating out after being home (recovering from surgery). It was cooked perfectly tender and so flavorful. The other item is the dessert! I am not normally a dessert person, but my friend is-- and I think we asked for a recommendation and we got their pistachio cake. It was also AMAZING! I highly recommend. While this is an Italian restaurant, we didn't order the typical Italian food, not by choice-- just ended up that way. I will say though, everyone's dishes looked so amazing. I definitely want to go back to try more items on the menu.

We arrived starving after a long hike at nearby Corte de Madera, and were craving some comfort food and beer to appease our appetites, and Ghostwood hit the spot! So much flavor and the meat-to-toppings-to-bread ratio was perfect. Definitely hit the spot! * Special big ups to the Beef Tallow Fries that were crispy and just fantastic. The Meh: * It is a family-friendly establishment, so prepare for unsupervised kids running amok in the game room while the parents get plastered. -_- * I thought the Fried Pickles were pretty good, but Carissa felt like they needed more batter or something.
