Dr. Brizzie is truly one of a kind and an amazing doctor. He is by far the best ever. Not only is…read morehe incredibly skilled, but his bedside manner is hands down the best I have ever had the privilege of experiencing. I have been seeing him for a little over two years now, and his care has truly helped me through a tough time. Being young with MS and all the unpredictable muscle pain it has caused me has been difficult. Dr. Brizzie has given me immense pain relief and has significantly improved my quality of life I never thought would be possible. I can do so much more now. I was struggling with this from 2021 until 2023 until I found him that year. The pain after the second Moderna vaccine was unbearable for me. He was the only one to take my pain seriously, and I will never forget that. He actually listens, really listens, and shows care for his patients. Highly intelligent yet humble. That is pretty rare. He is proactive, kind, patient, and always makes you feel heard. I am ever grateful to him for helping me get my upper body pain and muscle pain significantly reduced. The trigger point injections have relieved my pain like nothing else has and given me the freedom to enjoy life without constantly worrying about it. When you struggle, it has been such a relief to have a provider show compassion. He is the best, truly amazing, and I am very thankful. Fusion Physical Medicine's whole atmosphere gives off zen vibes and tranquility. His practice is so peaceful and warm. It's very clean and comfortable. Everyone is extremely kind here from the staff to the nurses. I cannot say enough good things! Unlike how a stressful hospital environment can be, the vibe here is calm and comforting. Plus you do not have to wait forever. This place is such a gem in California.

Dr. How changed my life. That's not an exaggeration. Prior to seeing Dr. How for the first time, I…read morewas in so much pain I could barely walk. I have torn tendons in my gluteus, bursitis as well as something (I don't know what) going on with my sciatica. I couldn't participate in the activities that I enjoy, like pickleball, without being in excruciating pain during and after. I was taking 4 Advil and 3 Tylenol every 5 or so hours a day for 3 weeks and constantly icing my body. I had seen 4 orthopedic surgeons and 3 chiropractors all of whom told me there was nothing that could be done, except steroid injects, which only provide temporary relief and are terrible for the body. During my first visit, Dr. How assessed my needs and treated me the same day. I had immediate relief. It has been about 5 weeks and I have not taken any pain meds and I have been playing pickleball without any pain. Of course I had to take a few days off from playing after the treatment, but even my friends noticed that I was playing significantly better. My pain levels have significantly improved. Over the last 5 weeks, I have been back to treat different parts of my body and each time I have significant improvement in both mobility and pain levels. Dr. How really cares about is patients. He really listens to what my needs are as well as what my limitations are and he treats me as an individual. We discuss what we are working on and come up with a game plan. I say "we are working on" because it really feels like we work as a team. Another thing I really appreciate is that I never have to wait. Dr. How sees me at my appointment time. In addition to Dr. How being amazing, everyone in his office is just as thoughtful, kind, helpful and pleasant. When you walk into the office, Carrie always greets me with a warm smile. If you have any questions or concerns, everyone is super helpful and pleasant. I can tell everyone likes working there and what they do. If you are suffering from pain, please go see Dr. How. There is no need to continue to live in pain. His methods work!!

I told them my condition and was asked to have my doctor send 3 past appointment details to their fax. The first time the paperwork was sent, they said they never received it. A week later I called to verify they got it the second time only to be told they don't treat my condition. It would have been nice for them to confirm treatments before wasting everyone's time getting the pre-authorizations done! Also, the new patient appointment line never answers their phone. I had to call back a dozen times to reach someone.

Everything that was recommended, I agreed to no matter how time consuming and cost. As long as my medical care was explained to me. I don't know if they ran out of pricey procedures to charge or what changed. All of a sudden unilateral decisions about my treatment were made. When I asked for explanations I got "this is what was decided. If you don't like it, you can leave". I was in severe pain and filled with anxiety. I turned to my primary doctor for help which they did until they talked to PA at Pacific Pain. They told them about the decision they made for my treatment which they never gave me the courtesy of doing. This ruined my relationship with my primary doctor as now I looked like a liar. This was a months ago and still affects me emotionally. If they didn't want to manage my care and drive me away, they got their wish. If they only want to do procedures and not medication management, they should say so.
