Then as soon as he had it taken apart , he called me asking for money saying that he had payroll , and my truck was taken up space. I told him I wasn't expecting to pay him for about 2 or 3 weeks and it was Christmas, but I would give him my kids Christmas money.If it was that important. I made him promise that after I gave him the money , he would still be nice to me and finish my transmission. He promised. Then went on vacation. On his drive back from mexico , he called me and said that it wasn't gonna work out. He's not gonna rebuild my transmission. And that I need to throw it out of there. He didn't give me a good reason.He just said he wasn't going to rebuild it. Not that he couldn't. But he wasn't. I told him he was putting me in a horrible position now.With my truck taking apart two hours from home and me , broke with all of my money spent on parts and paying him. He wasn't going to get my money back because he said he did half of his labor by taking apart my transmission and sending me pictures of it. I never would have paid someone to take it.Apart and tell me it was broke.I already knew that. If they didn't intend to rebuild it and get it back on the road. He knew after he took it apart that he wasn't gonna rebuild it , but he still asked for that money and lied to me. And he knew that it was my kid's christmas money. I want my money back that I gave him. Luckily, I found another transmission shop. That is going to do exactly what he agreed to, i provide all the parts, rebuild my transmission, flush the line, install it and get it back on the road. And they're going to do it for $1200 labor.
