Front desk dude's attitude. He made it very obvious he didn't want to be at work . Maybe we pulled him away from his favorite tv show?

I stayed here for two nights while my house had no power or water after a nasty ice storm. Luckily…read moreit didn't seem to hit Corvallis, and they actually had an available room! The hotel is located right next to Reser Stadium and the Oregon State University campus. It is not far from downtown Corvallis, and was easy to find. The room seemed clean and had a comfortable bed. It had a single cup Keurig machine and had tea and coffee options. The bathroom was just fine, and the tub was fairly large. The hot water never seemed to run out, which was amazing after a couple of days without running water. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The public areas were sleek and modern, and although I never ate at the hotel, it seemed popular. All the COVID-19 protocols seemed to be in place, and it looked like all food was packaged for consumption in the rooms. The breakfast was $10, rather than being complimentary. That might be standard for this brand. The internet access in the room was very fast; fast enough for gaming, in fact. The only minor negative was that the climate control unit was a bit noisy. All in all, a comfortable hotel with good service that is convenient not only for OSU but central Corvallis as well. I would definitely stay here again.

Front desk said they would file it away my complaint, which means nothing. 100% would not recommend staying here; go somewhere else that would give you decent customer service.

Great location and plenty of parking for all size vehicles…read more Has indoor pool and elevator for the 3 floors and morning Small breakfast of waffles, couple of cold cereals, oatmeal, bread, pastries, only protein is yogurt. No food taken out of breakfast area!! Not cool if you need to run and go. Coffee 24 hours and vending and ice machine is on 1st floor. This is pretty much clean and they are doing remodeling? Only Bad thing is they need to change shower curtains more often since they are long and in the dirty tub of many people that it did smell bad. They did change in morning. So Please be kind have them change more often. Guys need to smile more and talk to customers. Even if they are learning. Thanks Kaylee for your great work

I have stayed here many many times over the last several years when my college student was…read moreattending school and now visiting family in the area. I WOULD NOT STAY HERE AGAIN. The beds are comfortable enough and the rooms have a TV and a mini fridge. The towels were clean. Some of the pillow cases were stained, but smelled washed. The "breakfast" is now just coffee and hot cocoa packets with a few red apples and mini cups of yogurt. The Pool and Hot Tub are PERMANENTLY out of service and have been for a few years now; since ~2021. They use the indoor pool/hot tub area to store furniture. It's a budget motel in Corvallis for ~$110 per night. The homeless/transient drug addicted population is in full force. By sunset they all commune near the "pet area" on the corner of the motel barricading themselves against the only door accessing the pet area. You have to get past a wall of smoke, piles of belongings on tarps, dogs and tweekers to access the designated "pet area". For those living in their cars parked in the motel spaces, they are constantly emptying their cars and re-arranging piles of belongings laid all over the parking lot. At night they like to "work on" their broken bicycles in front of the side door closest to the pet area and ride around in circles in the motel parking lot by the dumpsters and stop frequently to look in car windows. There are many leashed dogs that they claim are friendly, but became extremely aggressive with my dog when attempting to pass on the sidewalk towards the "pet area". It's always been a problem at this location, but it seems that the Super 8 now openly welcomes the river encampment residents to hang out at the motel. In the later evening hours I encountered several of the river people randomly roaming the hallways and checking random doors like they were on a mission or something. Not just sketchy anymore, it now feels unsafe. This area is obviously on camera. The real problem is that the guy who works evenings (has been for many years) is part of their community and actually takes his smoke breaks outside with a few of them by the pet area and this all seems business as usual. That makes sense why he just grumbled under his breath when I told him that people were blocking access to the designated "pet area". The encampments begin in the corner parking lot by the pet area continues down the back steps of the property and fully lines both sides of the sidewalk along the river (public space). There are piles of fecal matter, trash and tarps of belongings, and vomit lining the path from the motel side door all the way to the sidewalks leading to the river walkway. A few people in the groupings were fine and going about their business. In the later afternoon, I was halfway down the motel stairs walking my dog towards the river across the back parking lot and some nut case started waving his arms and screaming at me to "go around!". Go around what? Encampments were everywhere and I was on the motel steps at the time. A couple of people apologized for the guy screaming at me and tried to redirect his attention. This place has gone downhill and the staff is part of a bigger issue. It is now unsafe. I would not stay here again. Sad to see such a nice location taken over by mental illness and addiction.
