The employees were always very kind and accommodating including requesting an ADA room since I was on a knee scooter. The breakfast had many options to choose from including almond milk for the cereal. They also provide sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon and evening which is nice. Upon request you can have the ADA shower seat. Now for the not so great- the ADA room we had seemed pretty worn down from the mattress that had no support and creaked, to the broken outlet on the wall, broken ADA shower floor, toilet that flushed twice every time you flushed and used SO MUCH WATER, the bathroom sink counter that sounded like any pressure on it would cause it to fall off the wall, super outdated old fabric couch, carpet that desperately needs to be replaced, plus no recycling seen anywhere in the hotel. Also the bench for luggage was placed right where someone navigating thru the room would be hitting it so we moved the bench to reveal the broken outlet cover. The first night it sounded like a herd of elephants were staying above us for many hours at bedtime. Of the three nights the last two were the Friday and Saturday of OSU's family weekend so price gouging was happening. $151.38 for Thursday night but $359.19 for the next two nights was crazy for the issues with the room we had. It's unfortunate because the employees were nothing but kind and helpful, but I do not see us staying here again for the price we paid compared to the accommodations we had. Some times nothing seems to go right. In this case our overnight stop at the Comfort Inn just did not meet expectations. The air conditioner did not work; the desk chair was so worn that it would not be acceptable for a thrift store donation; furniture was scratched a chipped; and the shower head poking through a hole in the wall. read more

We stayed here last week while visiting family over T day. The hotel is centrally located, warm, friendly and they have a great daily breakfast. All the staff are friendly and attentive, it's located in a great location (right next door to Trader Joe's and other shopping), it's safe, and Comfort Suites is always our first choice when we're in Corvallis. I'm not really a tub person, but last year we were upgraded to a room with a jacuzzi tub. And after doing the turkey trot run, that tub was much appreciated! This year, we were upgraded to a suite with a full kitchenette, a tub and a gas fireplace! I didn't know I needed this in my life, but it was absolutely AMAZING! So, Comfort Suites continues to be our first and only choice when staying in Corvallis. We'll be back soon! read more

We booked a room during Thanksgiving week to visit our college kids and Krystal and the staff went above and beyond to make my family feel welcome and comfortable. Our room was bright and clean, with a kitchenette and fireplace. The bathroom was spacious and had a jacuzzi tub. The complimentary breakfast was great. Krystal even helped us reserve a lovely banquet room on-site for our holiday feast. Comfort Suites was just what we needed after a long day of driving with our large dog. Our room was big, bed was not super comfy but not horrible either. The room was clean and had parking available right outside the window which was fantastic since I didn't want to unload our luggage rack. The staff was super friendly and made sure we were aware of the complimentary breakfast in the morning. It's no luxury hotel but its clean, safe and exactly what we needed. read more

My experience was a solid 4 (good check-in, excellent location, fairly quiet sleeping) until it was time to check out at 11 AM. I work remotely, I was finishing up a Teams meeting with a student. The student was in tears, not anything I expected!! Couldn't just hang up. Between 11 and 1105 housekeeping knocked FIVE times. WAY too pushy. Not cool when we pay close to $150 per night. I think you should give us a little cushion to vacate the room. Especially when the hotel is primarily vacant. It's OK-there are three or four hotels in this exact same location, so I have plenty of others to pick from on my next work trip or healthcare appt trip. read more

The Good: Service was good; front desk staff very helpful. Pool and gym looked good (didn't use but took a peek). Location is great, close to everything. Bed and pillows are comfortable. Couch, desk and chair, and table. It allowed us to play board games in our room, which we really like. Nature based art was lovely and fitting. Lots of accessible plugs. Lights and tables on both sides of bed. A BIG plus! The Bad: A Long mirror opposite bed. The bath fan is very loud and you could hear other people's bath fans running, too. read more

I understand prices increase due to OSU graduation, but for $500 including taxes, I was not impressed. The room has a slight body odor to it. Certain areas of my sheets smelled like BO, so I am wondering if my sheets were ever from the prior guest. The bathroom was an embarrassment! There was water damage on the ceiling with paint chipping off, the shower curtain rod was duct taped to the wall. Because of the broken shower rod, the curtain didn't close all the way while taking a shower. Water would get all over the floor. The backplate to the shower faucet was falling off as well. I got scabies staying at this hotel. I was wearing pants the entire trip, except shorts to sleep. I woke up with insect bites where my skin had touched the bed, and they turned into sores and burrows. I was with the same group of people the entire time except for in the bed, and none of them got scabies so it's very obvious that I got it from the bed. I called to notify the manager, and she was extremely rude and dismissive about the concern. Front desk was rude too. read more

We stayed here for one night as my daughter needed to do a 2-day orientation at OSU. The room was clean and spacious. There were a microwave and a mini fridge included in the room. Check-in was a breeze. The breakfast was a definite plus for the stay. It had scramble eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, make-your-own waffles (regular and strawberry flavors), bacon, cereal, bread, bagels, fruits, yogurts, coffee and different kinds of juices. The staff was super nice and friendly. They kept bringing out food to refill all the food stations so they weren't as empty as some other customers previously mentioned in their reviews. I will definitely come back here again if there's ever a need and would highly recommend this place for a short stay away from home. read more

Took a quick trip to Corvallis from the Los Angeles area to tour the OSU campus. It was affordable, clean, and the staff was very friendly! The beds were super comfy and soft and the rooms were large. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were open until 11pm which was appreciated as we have a family full of night owls. Check in and out was seamless. I thought the hotel was closer to OSU, it's about a mile and a half walk so be prepared if that is why you're visiting! I recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. read more

Pastini Italian is very close and serves a great menu. The room was well stocked with soaps and towels, and they serve a nice hot breakfast in the morning. We love this hotel. We stayed here two years ago during the pandemic while we dropped off our son at OsU. At the time fires going on so they had meals donated from local restaurants. Staff attentive and kind., Additionally loved using pool and hot tub. This place should be condemned. There is no air conditioning in the hotel hallways or common areas. The unit in our room kept shutting off. My son couldn't sleep. As soon as we got off the elevator to go to our room you could smell something, musty. Our room smelled same. The towels are thin, coffee awful. When I complained about the A/C, the front desk said it was on. The shower had a constant screech when turned on. What you get for over $200/day is a dingy, brown, hot, smelly room. The price for this hotel was fair and the reviews looked good. Our room was ready upon our arrival and room had the layout that we expected. However, the room was outdated and warn. The TV had no on screen guide that I could find and there was not any provided access to Netflix or Amazon Prime TV. There were chunks of wood missing from the closet door which was not that big of a deal but definitely did not make a good impression. The air conditioner in the room worked fine but again seemed a little outdated since there was no thermostat on the wall so you had to manually adjust the dial on the unit. The temperature in the 3rd floor hallway was extremely hot and stuffy and the elevator was not much better. Breakfast was good including the waffles. I do not understand why anybody who ever stayed here would NOT give this hotel a FIVE STAR REVIEW! As you can see from my "time-slot" I stayed here during the COVID; when everyone was required to wear masks and the hotel was (by law) not allowed to offer their excellent, continental, breakfast. However, specifically this location easily complied with the aid of their perfectly, trained staff. The serenity of this place is reflected in the expressions and spoken, praises from fortunate guest who stay here. The Comfort Suites - "comfort" being the operative, word! Their indoor pool and spa area is immaculate and both pools are set to ideal temperature. Adjoining the pool room is their fitness room with a HUGE screen tv and every type of apparatus you might want. Even the pullout sofas in the rooms are comfortable! Honestly! YOU NEED TO STAY AT THIS HOTEL, NOW... TONIGHT, YES!! Or at least, soon because yes - even in the midst of a pandemic, the suite I stayed in was perfect! Go on! Book a suite! You won't be sorry! Thank you Comfort Suites for rescuing me and my 93 yr old mother from a terrible, situation at the so-and-so, "other" REALLY bad motel down the road! Reserved for two nights, left after one night and they wouldn't give us a refund for the 2nd night. When we got home we discovered that they decided to refund the cost of the 2nd night, so there is that. I have been a Hilton loyalist for too long, perhaps. But when the local Hilton chain was sold out -- as were my number two, three, and four -- I found myself booking a room here. I need to eat some crow at this point. I have been sort of rolling my eyes at the idea of staying at a Comfort Suites. But, this place is LOVELY. It beats a major brand-name hotel on many fronts. It provides ample space (I have a suite with two queen beds, a 3-cushion couch, and an armchair), good sleeping, fridge, microwave, and a hotel restaurant (breakfast only). It is pretty clean. There are some shortcuts (the door of the bathroom opens right into the toilet, and there are some cobwebs in my room), but the stuff that matters -- the sheets, the bathroom fixtures -- are all super clean. Nice staff who are really putting an effort into representing the business professionally. Would definitely stay here again. read more

For OSU football games, a long ways away from campus Rates were too high -even for game day for that property. Elevator is broken. Covid breakfast was not well managed. We had to fill out a form at the front desk in the morning and get frozen food- just say no breakfast. Staff was nice, but they were being asked to do everything, so there was a long wait time at front desk. It also smelled of smoke in our room. Staying here was a genuine pleasure. Most hotels I have stayed in have hard beds - this best was soft and comfortable. Lots of pillows, too. For such an affordable hotel, Comfort Suites actually provides lots of little unexpected amenities. An extra blanket and pillow in the closet, really nice toiletries, little candies, cookies in the lobby, and a pretty decent breakfast. The rooms are very clean and everything works. I really appreciate that because staying at a hotel is often not a very pleasant experience when you can't afford a higher price. While passing through Oregon wine country, I stopped here for a nights stay. I was impressed with the friendly staff and nice accommodations. A staff member who calls himself Mr. Lonnie makes the breakfast bright and early with a smile. He checked on every table to see how the food was tasting. The rooms were very clean and spacious with comfortable beds. The location is close to a movie theater next door and a convenient drive to downtown only 3 minutes away. I will never stay here again. The staff was lax about mask wearing and people were coming in to the lobby not wearing masks and the staff said nothing about it to them. One staff member was wearing her mask around her neck - face uncovered. The shower was gross and not clean at all. Water pressure terrible. This may seem silly but I actually work for Comfort Suites in Corvallis Oregon and I want to Yelp our guests who are the most amazing people I have ever served in my 20+ years in the customer service field. I've worked many types of customer service jobs from DHS in California, managed many junior retail stores in several malls and recently achieved a culinary degree that I wasn't too sure I was going to use. But thankfully I answered an ad for a cook/breakfast attendant for Comfort Suites and I got the job. And I have to say that every aspect of working for Comfort Suites is amazing! I have a wonderful boss, kind and fun co workers but the true gem of Comfort Suites are the guests!! I have never in all my years encountered the nicest, most down to earth, patient and mindful people as I have at Comfort Suites! We just have amazing guests who make getting up at 4 AM to prepare breakfast for them a true blessing. Our guests are the reason I truly love my job and hope to be with Comfort Suites for many years! The hotel staff have been kind, the place is clean, and the bed is comfortable. Unfortunately, the internet connection is not secure, and my husband and I needed to work during the day, which we explained to them before we arrived. There was no mention of an unsecure internet network. We both lost hundreds of dollars, as we were not able to do our jobs. A hotel of this cost/caliber needs to have a secure internet connection, as most people are doing their entire business online. We attempted to call the hotel manager to make this right, but we have not been able get to reach managment. We are hoping that they take this concern seriously so others are not in this situation. We would feel a lot better about staying here if they reduced the price to accommodate for our lost revenues. read more

Overall clean, safe, convenient, decent for price, nice front desk person. Tons of space in my room. Free breakfast (though I did not eat there). I like that the heater by the window can be set to High Fan - keeping a loud fan on through the night helps me sleep. That said, there were a number of annoying things. I would recommend the Hilton Garden Inn as a much better option in town. The iron in the room was broken (dial was missing) and had melted somebody's fabric on both the iron and the ironing board. Yes, the staff replaced it quickly, but it was very cheap iron that I was very nervous about using on my nice work clothing, and in fact ran a bit hot. Don't bring anything you have to iron. Wifi worked for the first 1 hour or 2 then stopped working. Tried troubleshooting myself for a while but couldn't re-connect. I realized I could have contacted the hotel about this, but I didn't want to invest the time. Very loud hallways. Everything could be heard from the room. Luckily I brought ear plugs. Like I said above, at least I could set the High Fan but this does not block out everything. Just a very dated room. There was a TV bureau in the room built for one of those old TV's that is 2 feet deep. How long ago did hotels replace these with flat-screen TVs....? Workout room: very dated machines. Only 1 treadmill and it was very loud. No weights or mats. Small room. read more

We often come to the valley for mini trips as it's close to where we live. Love this location and amenities. Lots of seating for breakfast and wide variety of food and drinks. Nice lobby with seating and snack and such to purchase. Complementary water and cookies too! Our room was small, very small. The picture of the room I reserved on line was much larger, had a small divider and sofa. Our room had none of that. The price I reserved at and the price I paid was $3-ish more than the price of when I checked out. Not a huge deal, but I also don't get it. Lastly the shower in the bathroom I would say was not clean. I'm very particular plus why would you spend over $100 to stay somewhere for a night If you didn't have to, to bathe in a not so clean shower. Just frustrating. Friendly staff for sure. We've stayed a few times. After this last not so great stay will have to contemplate if we will stay again. read more

From approximately 12-28 to 1-4-2021 I stayed at this Comfort suites in Corvallis Oregon. My house was not quite ready, hence, I chose comfort Suites. I have been a rewards member since 2001. Have usually enjoyed a peaceful stay, UNTIL this stay. I don't mind spending money to stay in a nice hotel and what I don't enjoy is staying in an outwardly nice hotel with a staff that doesn't know the meaning of hospitality. Don't make a habit of composing reviews and when I feel as if I spent the better part of 700.00 dollars to feel like I've paid to be abused, the line gets drawn. Due to space this may be a two part review and I will say before going any further, if I could give this hotel zero stars, I would. To be continued. Gary McCarthy Part 2- while staying at the hotel, I developed an issue with my feet and ankles that required me to stay in bed for the better part of my stay. I literally could not walk to the bathroom. The peeing part was fairly easy to address as there are portable urinals for men which kept me from peeing on the rug. I jest. Going number 2 presented a bit more of a challenge, one time, at least. My friend had procured a plastic, shallow bucket. I missed the target and not for lack of trying. Front desk was immediately called, the situation explained, someone from housekeeping came and cleaned up. Situation that could have happened to anyone and I couldn't have been more honest about it. It was determined I needed to stay one more day. I actually hobbled down to the lobby from the second floor. When I requested one more night, I was notified spottily by some early twenty something that I was not welcome for one more night. Asked for manager, told she was somewhere else in the building. I heard her speaking in the back office. Called Wells Fargo to dispute any charges since I didn't feel as if I should pay for absolutely horrible service, somehow, my card was charged after I put a block on it. I asked to speak with the owner, no one would give me his/her name. One of the worst hotel experiences ever. I would not recommend this hotel. As is often the case with left items, even overnight, some things came up missing, namely a 1500.00 dollar MacBook. I have heard those very same words before when I had some important items stolen from my room. Got the same bullshit story and someone from housekeeping had taken part in the thievery. This is a challenging review to write because it was an experience with many positives, but with such a major negative in service that I doubt I'd come back. Pros: very nice room, very comfy bed, great frig set up in the lobby including reasonably priced bottles of wine, excellent breakfast Cons: no sleep my second night. I was next to a jacuzzi tub room. They came home at 2am and ran the tub and jets off and on until 3:30. I went to the desk to see if they could help. She did call and they stopped. So far so good, she did her job. Then they started again at 5:30am - seriously people? This time I went to the desk and she said she'd call again, but when I called 10 minutes later because it was still going on, she admitted she hadn't called. What else are you doing at 5:30am that's more important than your guests sleeping. I told her I'd banged on the wall but it did no good. My expectation is that she would have WALKED the 50 feet down the hall to the room and dealt with it directly. I felt like I got a shoulder shrug and a "that's too bad" brush off. When I asked the manager about it in the morning, she said "oh yah she left a note". Exactly how was leaving a note for the next person a solution? Furthermore, wouldn't they do something from a customer service standpoint to make up for it? How about comping my second night or even offer a voucher for my next stay. That would have saved my business. Myself and my colleagues are in this area on business quite frequently, but based on her "couldn't care less about your comfort" attitude, I'll likely stay elsewhere. read more
