Really torn on this review but I'm going to give you all the no bs assessment. Nash is a stand up guy. He honored a quote from several months prior, probably when nobody else would. He came out in a timely manner and scheduled us for install within a week. It was well over 100 degrees on the two days when our turf was installed. The install crew worked hard and got everything done (about 1,000 square feet) in two days. I did see cigarette butts and leftover trash in the yard after they left. The install looked decent at first. When I really got to look at it, there were two visible horizontal seams running the width of the turf. Nash sent the workers back out and they attempted to tidy up the seams, but ultimately told us the turf was shorter so we would see seams. We looked again, and there was about a half inch gap in one of the seams near a corner in the yard. They again came out and cut a new piece and fixed it, kind of. The more I walk around and looked at the job, I've noticed there are significant lumps and the surface is kind of rolling instead of flat. We had guests over and they even commented how our turf wasn't flat like other installs. Around the edges, the compaction was poor and the turf nails come up out of the ground with no retention at all. This causes the edge of the turf to lift up. We emailed Nash a third time but never heard back about this issue. It was a safety hazard with guests coming over so we purchased additional nails and fixed a portion of the issue. The more I researched turf install, I realized I don't believe they installed our turf with seam tape, glue, or any form of adhesive or joining. I've seen short turf and putting greens without any visible seams, so I don't understand why that would be an excuse. Overall, Nash was an upstanding guy who was respectful of our time. His pricing was average, and wasn't on the high or low end of the estimates we received. I don't believe any of the above issues were related to him, but the persons he hired to do the job. I was a bit surprised when we didn't hear anything from him when the job was complete, and he didn't stop by to inspect the work. I'm torn on this review because, like I said, I don't think it was his fault but the people he contracts with for the installs. I feel like we paid a lot of money for a lower end install, which is really disappointing and really still doesn't sit right with me. read more

Fantastic!! Nash and his team are top notch. I was blown away by the quality of their work. They didn't rush anything and made sure the entire project was perfect before finishing. They broke down concrete and installed pavers. I am beyond happy with the results. Nash is an outstanding guy, he helped us deal with a flooding issue when we were not there. He went out of his way to get a water pump and set it up for us. He didn't have to do it, but he still did as he is a very caring individual. Professionalism at its best. Jaw Dropping work, hands down! We got a few estimates prior to booking with Nash. My husband ultimately decided on going with Nash due to how personable he was, price was good, and how fast he followed up. We had a bad gopher problem that was destroying our backyard and I wanted artificial grass for that reason. Thankfully Nash had an opening available a week from meeting him. He told us he could get it done in a day and he did! From 8am (they came nice and early so 7:45am) to about 3pm it was finished! They even pulled out some weeds in our wood chips for us which wasn't apart of what we got. They also laid out extra weed barrier and extended our wood chips out more which we thought we had to do ourselves. They really went above and beyond for us. This review is long over due. Nash and his crew installed a retaining wall and artificial grass in our backyard about a year and a half ago. This work has really change the way we use our yard. Since the wall was installed and the grass laid down we now use an area that was previously part of a hill and filled with weeds. We now have enough room for outside backyards games like badminton and frisbee. Nash was able to come out quickly for an estimate and once we made our decision to move forward, was able to schedule our job quickly and start work. Even though we altered the job part way through, Nash and his crew were able to make the modifications and still finish on time. During the job Nash communicated well with us and also looked after our dog who was in the backyard as well. Once they were done they cleaned up nicely. The day before yesterday I posted and gave Eco Grass three stars. Nash was swift to come by to give me an estimate. He was prepared with turf samples- and gave me an estimate on the spot. Work was mediocre needs attention to detail- cleaning after the project is done. The reason for the three stars- lots of gravel left on street and driveway, at least one crew member smokes and left behind his cigarette butts ( I don't appreciated that). I had to pick them up- gross! This morning I noticed his vehicles leaked oil and left horrific stains in front of my home- not acceptable! Though Nash was there and got his hands dirty- thank you; however the crew was in a rush since it was getting late- keep in mind they started the project at 2:00 pm. This morning I went around and noticed the cuts of turf where unfortunately uneven. Today 5/28/2020 Nash came and rectified the complaints I had. He kept his word as a business owner . So my husband and I finally decided to look into this artificial grass thing; we've been on the fence, it looks so plastic like to us and we didn't think our dog would like it much. We had bought a small patch of it from Home Depot to test it out with our dog, and surprisingly he used it just like it was normal grass! We decided to go ahead and do it so it could save us on our water bill and so it will be low maintenance, which my husband will love! Home Depot was a bit too pricey with installation included, so we went to yelp to find someone else and Eco-grass had a lot of good reviews (and they were close to us) so we gave them a call. Nash showed up on time and prepared after I had requested an in person consultation. He was nothing but kind and attentive throughout the entire process. Highly recommend his entire team. We had reached out to eco grass after a different landscaping company had done terrible work and were three months past our contracted deadline of completion. The previous company was to complete the front and backyard while Ecograss would do both side yard spaces (instead of the other guy). I told Nash our plans and despite feeling so uneasy at this point about hiring landscapers, after a few questions we felt sure they could handle it. Nash didn't just say they could do it, but took the time to explain the process and why they use certain materials and brands and was patient with all my millions of questions and demands. I wanted it done ASAP, he said he estimated four days but would agree to five just in case. I respected the honesty and agreed (thinking for sure it would be over a week). Long story short his crew would arrive @8am (so much better than the 630a arrival of the other company), and work constantly until lunch. After lunch they would come back and stay past dark - the first night Nash came out with work lights so they could work later and get more done. We were shocked to say the least. They in fact got it done in four days and the only work they had left to do would be after the other company was done with concrete and it would only take one day. They did in fact scuff the house exterior walls quite a bit, but after noticing it Nash asked if we had more paint and personally came back with a paintbrush and touched it up himself. The only other "mistake" was a miscommunication regarding transplanting a tree, but when I asked Nash about it he immediately took responsibility and he paid to make it right. It was a small detail for some, but for me, it's those details that show you someone's character. Anyone could've done the project we asked for, even though the spa side was detailed and trickier, what made the difference was the peace of mind. Knowing the people working on your home see it as just that, someone's home. It's not just where they are laying turf for work today, it's the play space that my baby will play in tomorrow. Now that the concrete frame is out (my old company forgot they left it and I had to call multiple times for them to come back), they came back and completed the work. Schedule complications on both ends made it a bit delayed, but to be honest I'm not even bothered by it. I would recommend Nash, Christian, and their crew to anyone who wants a beautiful yard without the headache. Anyone can do an incredible job, getting it done pain free is everything. Oh AND Nash came back and helped with some exterior electrical I couldn't figure out and is just the best. Highly recommend Ecograss! read more

I am so pleased on how my front yard came out! I found Ecograss on Yelp with great reviews but noticed that they do a lot of artificial turf. Artificial turf is so beautiful but I was looking to do a dry scape yard with decomposed granite and a river rock. Nash and his guys did a great job and in only 3 days. This review is a looooong time coming! If I could give Nash and his crew 10 billion stars, I would. The service we received, the turf quality, and the whole process and experience in general just couldn't have been better. Pretty much every weekend since it was installed we comment on how wonderful it looks - we had it installed in October 2018 and it looks as good as new. We have 3 rambunctious dogs including a 100 pound German shepherd so our biggest concern was durability. Nash said he would install extra nails to keep it secure. So far so good - everything's perfect. What really resonated with us is that out of all the firms we contacted (and received bids from), Nash was the only one that was the sales guy/estimator AND installer. Every other firm sent salesmen to present long sales pitches but at the end of the day they would not be doing the work themselves and to us that was a big deal. Nash came to the house, provided us the cost estimate, talked us through the process, explained the product, and oversaw the installation. Not to mention he was the low bid by quite a bit! It was a job well done and we would not HESITATE to recommend Ecograss to anyone looking to install artificial turf - A++++! read more
