For the same 3 rooms completed by Stanley Steamer the cost was around 150.00 dollars. After coming in and measuring the same area they asked for 650.00 dollars. Rediculious read more

I completed a job with this company where I was told initially it would be 70 dollars than when the drives arrived they said in order to remove the stain( my dog diarrhea) it would be 120. I decided it was fine because I had friends coming in town and wanted the job be done quickly. I asked them if the rug would look more fluffy they describe no but the stain would come out. When my rug arrived today on 01/15/2025 it was matted in the center and the stain was still there. I was initially told I would get 28 dollars off and then I spoke with the manager who told me that I told the drivers my rug was matted already before which it was not. I provide a before photo of the center of my rug to show proof. I asked the drivers specifcally would it look more fluffy. My rug was never matted with a huge knot in the center. The company has decided to give me 120 dollar refund via check only instead of just sending it back to my amex card on file. I now have to pay for another rug which is 400 dollars. I wish I never cleaned the rug with the company because now I need to spend 400 dollars and they refuse to given me any money toward another rug after ruining my rug and not even cleaning the stain. The manager notified me he been running this business for 20 years and he not going go back and forth me because I told the drivers it was matted which is was not. The drivers specifically told me the rug look super clean when I explained it didn't. My rug use to be light grey now it almost brown. The driver also spent half the time asking me how I can live in apartment with such big windows rather than trying to understand they ruined my rug. I'm putting the review on google, yelp and BBB complaint. If I do not receive my check by the end of day January 22nd I will be contacting American Express to dispute the transaction as well. My boyfriend came over who seen this rug multiple times before they toke it for the "cleaning" was shocked on how disgusting the rug looked now. Update 10 minutes after review was posted: I spoke with the manager at 1:58pm after he reviewed my review. He stated if I don't remove my review he will not send me a check anymore. I said to him that I put up the review because other should know and I still have to pay for 400 dollar new rug. He explained he could give me 150 and I explained the rug is 400 dollars and 200 would be more sufficient. He notified me I was black mailing him. I explained to him that he black mailing me by trying to force me to remove a review to get a refund for an item they destroyed. He explained he not doing anything for me and that im a lil entitled something then he hung up the phone. I will be contacting American Express given manager has now clarified I will not get a refund because I refuse to remove this review. Response to company comment below. The owner stated I tried to blackmail them. I asked them to provide me my refund and if they offer additional compensation for ruining a 400 dollar rug. They said they can offer me 200 dollars and I would have to sign a legal document to never post a negative review about them and remove this review. I do not feel comfortable signing any legal documents and will be proceeding with going to American Express to have my money refund. I have documentation through text messages AS PROOF of this incase they try re comment that I tried to blackmail them which isn't true. I have attached them. The individuals that work for this company is extremely scary and they try to intimidate you as well as talk down to you. At this point, Idc for the 200 dollars they're paying for me to take down this review I want other people to be warned about this company. read more

They changed price from quote on phone to clean a wool area rug to a much higher price upon picking up the rug. when we were going to cancel the transaction and have them leave the house without the rug they agreed to original price. beware that they say they clean, sanitize and deodorize the rug but you have to pay a higher price for pet urine but the guy who picked up the rug said all rugs get the same treatment ; the girl who gave quote on the phone knew that there was a pet urine stain. the rug is a crate and barrel wool rug we paid over 4 or 5 hundred dollars for a few years ago Almost 2 weeks later (yesterday)I call to ask if the rug is ready and the owner saul says yes tomorrow between 8-10 it will be delivered. We call at apx 1115 and he says i be there in 1 hr 15 min . about two hours go by , we call again he says I'll be there in ten minutes . he delivers the rug, we roll it out and it looks ok on the front but after he leaves we find three tears in the backing . not only that i went inside and when my husband had asked him for a receipt and he tells him it will be sent in an email; i tell my husband he doesn't have our email. so we call and tell him about the damage to the rug , he says send me pics and i'll call you back we say ok thank you . no call no receipt, are you following ? don't use them . I am a big review reader and they have many great reviews that i am convinced are fake. read more

I was referred to this company by a family friend to clean our couches. They offer more than just carpets they also do upholstery I found out. We have a German Shepard that has her own bed but prefers out ivory couches upstairs and had left some stains. I called on a Monday and they were out the next day. Very professional and courteous and his assistant both wore shoe covers as they entered. The final result are amazing !!! We are very happy with how awesome it looks !!! So we had our rec room couches done as well. It didn't take long for the couches to dry either. Highly recommend this service for your home. I'll be calling them to clean our oriental rugs in the spring once it's a little nicer. Thanks again !!! We will be returning !! read more

Scam artists. Double charged me. Returned my rug wet and sloppy without removing odors. They run their business out of a van. Run away as fast as you can. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

They got the job done and cleaned my sofa and loveseat, but I did not like their pricing tactics. We agreed to $120 beforehand when I set up the appointment, but the technician tried to upcharge me to $210, and then tried to negotiate. Only when I told him no, and he could leave, did he agree to $120. They also left my floors somewhat muddy from their boots. I only went with them because they were available on this Saturday, but I will try to find someone else first if I need upholstery cleaning again in the future. read more

This companies # comes up when you google Stanley Steamer in Schaumburg from a portable device. If you call and ask if this is Stanley Steamer. They say yes. They even scheduled a time. Showed up. The Van was White. No name. The employee wore an Eco-Organic Shirt. Told me they were taking calls for Stanley Steamer due to COVID. They don't have equipment or employees that compare to Stanley Steamer. We asked the impersonator to leave. This Company should be reported as frauds to the BBB. Do not use this company even if you mean to call them. read more
