Every dish I've gotten and every plate I've seen come out of the kitchen is amazing and a wonderful sight. The duck is a personal favorite. The steak though is a dining staple. The Delmonico Ribeye shines at both a rare and medium rare cook and is just so flavorful. That's the steak I dream of and can't wait to have again. The servers are attentive, polite, and helpful when you ask for their thoughts on which dish to order. The bar is quick and makes some great drinks (based on friends' input). Salar isn't so upscale that you can only go for special occasions. It makes for a good mid-week dinner, meetup with friends and coworkers, but it can also be a treat yourself meal.
