I wandered across Eco Blu on my way back to my apartment from the pharmacy, picking up medications for my deathly sick friend. I was quite happy with the results.
It is a Sardinian restaurant (an island off the west coast of Italy) known for their seafood.
While the staff did not speak fluent English, they knew enough to understand me, and the service was quite friendly. The menu is also in English. The wifi was strong, even in the outdoor seating, which was perfect on the crisp May night that I dined.
Instead of typical Italian bread, they brought out a crisp thin bread called carasau, lightly drizzled in olive oil and sprinkled with salt. It was a great change from the same Italian bread you get at basically every restaurant in Italy.
For dinner I tried the Chef's linguine with prawns and squid. The pasta was good quality and was cooked perfectly. The sauce was light but flavorful. I was satisfied with the dish.
I wish to return again with a bigger appetite to try all of the seafood they offer. I've been told by some locals that their raw seafood is amazing. Alas I did not learn this until after I ordered.
Definitely recommend. read more
