I dare you to get out of this place still feeling hungry, it's almost impossible. Generous portions and very rich options. Steak covered by fried eggplant, prosciutto and mozzarella? Absolutely. Filet with mushroom and bacon? Any time. Super-sized buffalo mozzarella with Parma ham? You got it.
In just so many words, this not exactly haute cuisine, it's just comfort food, Italian style. While the place is famous for the meat (Bibikiu is the Italian spelling of BBQ), I also like their pizzas, or at least a focaccia to share, just to open up the stomach. And you'll need it, both pasta and meat offerings will keep you busy for a while.
If you're wondering what's in that amazing sauce on the steak, the chef shared the secret: mustard, butter and cream. Scary, but good. A bit too heavy for my taste but great value and the perfect option to seat large groups with very diverse tastes and a fine appetite. read more
