Never knew blueberries grew in this part of Texas. We came on opening weekend. The farm is beautiful with delicious blackberries and blueberries. It was so easy to pick. It's somewhat of a walk to the blackberries, but oh, so worth it. We were given buckets for picking. I picked a bucket of blueberries and a bucket of blackberries. Each bucket is weighed after you pick and charge accordingly. The blackberries were $20 & the blueberries were $22. I had filled each one to capacity. read more

I enjoyed the outdoors picking blueberries and the instructions was clear and the prices were very fair. I had planned to go back the next year but was out of town. I highly recommend. read more

We have been a happy customer of theirs for years. This year was a completely new experience for us out there. The blueberries were different. Normally we buy in bulk, freeze, then eat our way through them. We have done this for years. This year the blueberries were different in that they were leaking juice before the container was even opened. Also, The berries seemed to have a different texture, and not in a good way. We are doing nothing different; That leaves the berries. We have friends who have commented that they too have noticed a difference. We will not be back...too many great blueberry farms in the area. read more

Been coming out here 3 years in a row now and can't imagine my freezer without bags of blueberries and my pantry without jars of blackberry jam. Fields are well maintained, plenty of space for people to pick without someone crowding you. Nice drive from the DFW area. A slice of blueberry cheesecake is a must after spending a few hours in the heat picking! read more

The staff was not friendly and in fact were rude to some people around us. Also the process of weighing and paying for your blueberries is cumbersome. Would not recommend. read more

Very nice staff ! Kind people work here and made sure to direct us to the area that had not been picked that morning . We arrived later then I wanted . Traffic from Dallas was terrible . I spent 80 on gas , 26 on the blueberries and 4 hours of round trip conversation with my 13 yr old granddaughter . That is priceless and I will be honest these were the sweetest and most juicy fresh blueberries I have ever had read more

Friendly, awesome experience! They provide the baskets for you to place your berries in. It's a super immersive experience.

Parkinson's Disease. I mean, I'd heard of it before. But it was just some distant thing that had something to do with random people not related to me who suffered from it and... next subject of importance. BUT that was until it hit my family. And worst of all, it hit my mom. Since then, life has been a roller coaster of emotions, highs and lows, tears and uncertainty. I felt like I owed it to my mom to create moments of peace in the storm, and being the country girls that we are, picking blueberries was right up both our alleys. A perfect escape. *Enters Echo Springs* Halfway between Tyler and Athens lies a cute little blueberry farm owned by a husband and wife duo. Not only do you pick your own blueberries, of which the farm has PLENTY (even at the end of the season), but they chauffeur you on golf carts out into the blueberry fields, and when you're finished...they pick you up. Talk about first class blueberry picking. Mama didn't want to leave! I just loved seeing my mom enjoy herself. I don't know about you, but picking fruit is therapeutic. Try it. But it doesn't stop there. The gift shop on the farm sells homemade jams, jellies, butters, pickled veggies, cakes, pies, soaps...you name it! And to top off all the greatness, they serve BLUE BELL ICE CREAM, YELP! Mama and I chowed down on some Italian Creme Cake and Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream. And for that moment in time, tears and uncertainty didn't matter. Thank you, Echo Springs. If life says the same, we'll be seeing you again next season. read more

Would come back again! We liked the friendly staff and endless acres of blueberry fields which allowed groups of people to spread out while wandering around. This farm was filled with sweet, juicy blueberries and we were quickly and easily able to pick enough for our liking, but took our time walking around to look at the pond and visit the store, which had pies, ice cream, and snacks. read more

When we went to eat lunch right at 12:00pm they were out of cheese for the day and they didn't close till 4:00pm, and it was super expensive. $4.75 for just small cheese nachos, $6.00 for chili cheese nachos, $3.75 for one hot dog. Trust me the taste definitely match the price. Other than that the blueberry you pick are very cheap In your bucket. read more

A resounding 5 stars for this beautifully maintained farm. Due to Feb 2021 winter storm, spring opening was delayed 3 weeks and it just opened on June 4th. There are gardens where you can enjoy blueberry based treats while your friends & relatives pick berries growing in the 75 acre spread. Great place to bring visiting family. They're also open near Thanksgiving, at which to you can get frozen berries and holiday gifts. A final note: this is a small family run farm, not a supermarket, so patience and kindness is a strong incentive for these folk to keep doing this backbreaking work. read more

I can't say enough about this little place! This organic farm is nestled away 4.5 miles off of 31 outside Brownsboro down FM 607. Not too far out of the way at all and definitely worth the drive if you're around Tyler area. Samples galore abound in this little shop. When we first walked in we tried the delicious blueberry cornbread. The cornbread was pretty good, but my daughter's is a tad but caking so I grabbed a pint of fresh picked blueberries so we can make our own when we get home. ($3.50 a pint and that's, of course, organic). Next I meandered over to the jelly table where I sampled a Lavender Port Wine jelly that was nothing like I've ever tasted! Meanwhile my husband discovered the spicy Jalapeño jelly and grabbed a jar of Peach Chipolte jam. After trying dozens more jams and jellies and adding a jar of hot chow chow to the basket, we ran across the sugar free fudge section. Now I am not one to go for sugar free stuff. I eat food for the taste and sugar free seems to always have a funny aftertaste. But I challenge anyone to sample Echo Farms regular fudge against the sugar free and be able to tell a difference. Since I can't tolerate chocolate too well, we settled on a delectable butter pecan fugue that only set us back $4.99! Plus they had a buy 2 get 1 free special! Finally, we bought some organic produce to make salsa after we tasted how delicious the tomatoes were. (BTW, 89 cents a lb. for organic tomatoes!) we got two large sacks full for $5. All in all, we checked out of there with a box of jellies, jams, fudge, blueberries, and two sacks of tomatoes for $30! All organic and all Texas made! Next time I come I'll bring the kids so they can tour the farm and pick their own berries! read more

It's funny that I have lived in the Athens area for almost 3 years, & had never come here, but then I came twice in one day! It was nice to come with my mom and a visiting friend to get in some shopping earlier in the day. I hadn't had breakfast yet, but they have so many free samples to try, that I considered that my breakfast! The day we came was also the last day of the summer they would be open, so I'm so glad we came when we did (both times today)! I bought several items and mix bags that I can hardly wait to try! They had a special deal where if you buy 3 bags of items, you get a fourth bag free. I had to haul my items away in a 1x2ft cardboard box. They were sold out of blueberry muffins (but the cranberry & blueberry combo ones were so good!) & maybe even the boxes of frozen blueberries. I hope to come back even earlier in the season next year! read more
