We had an awesome trip on the Echo! Beautiful sights, excellent service, fun and casual atmosphere. We saw lots of dolphins including a very curious baby that swam very near the boat. We had a great time! We are in Key West for 6 weeks, friends came to visit & we wanted an adults only sunset cat cruise. The concierge at our rental company didn't know of any (?) so I did a simple Google search & uncovered Echo. We are so glad to find them! We saved $10/ticket by booking direct. The Captain & 1st mate were great! Personable, professional & very attentive. Good selection of beverages and a nice cheese plate. Only 14 adults (+ 2 crew) on board (size restrictions due to Covid, but honestly, I wouldn't think many more would fit comfortably on that size cat, perfect for 14-16 (with crew)). It was a nice change from the dozens of people on the bigger sails (fun as well but we preferred this... & we are SOCIAL/partiers!) & being adult only was really very nice! Definitely one of our go-to activities when we go to Key West. Husband and I aren't really drinkers but I will partake in a moscato if they have it! Last time I requested a moscato and they brought one! I was pleasantly surprised and the moscato was DELICIOUS. It's not crowded. It's more of an intimate boat setting. Wow, this was the best decision to take this tour. It is limited to a low amount of people. Others cram 120 people on to a boat and cram music and low qaulity liquor. We were treated very well with Captain Morgan and Eric. Both were exceptional. Moet Chandon Champagne poured constantly and if you wanted beer or wine, there was plenty. We booked this lovely 2+ hour Champagne sunset sail in early August 2021! It was awesome because there were only a total of 14 passengers on board unlike many of the other Key West sunset excursions with 75+ passengers on board. So it was festively social without a crowded experience. They served Chandon champs and a lovely array of artisan cheeses and smoked fish dip and fruit to nibble on. They also offered an assortment of quality wines and craft beers to indulge in. You could upgrade to a bottle of Moët for like $45 or so but the Chandon they served with the price of the excursion was tasty enough. And they didn't skimp on serving. The champagne kept flowing until the end of the sail. The crew was professional, friendly and informative. We highly recommend this company for the must see Key West Sunset. Don't forget to tip your crew! read more

the trip itself was fun & crew was great. we absolutely enjoyed our day out. just know if you book the trip it seems to be billed wild dolphin, snorkeling & sailing adventure. The captain saw one but by the time he called it out it was gone. We def didn't go to any "playground" as mentioned in the ad. Out of the 4 hours we sailed for about 20 mins of it. It was more motor out to a snorkeling reef, snorkel & motor back with a bit of sailing. No dolphin. they were super friendly & we enjoyed our time I just wish I had known what to expect to help decided if the $ was worth it before we went. read more

I have a few things to say about Echo Catamaran Tours...yes, I do! I hope this helps you make a decision on whether or not to choose them over another competitor, or to choose them at all. I'll just jump right in and give you a few highlights. Dolphins...LOTS of dolphins!!! (I posted one photo below). It was truly amazing!! A pod of dolphins put on a show for us for about 10 minutes, as we were leaving the snorkeling site. I know our Captain didn't want to leave, as we were all intrigued. I think she stayed a little longer for all of us on board. You can see in the photo how clear the water is and how close they were to us! Secondly, our Captain, Morgan, (yes, that's right, her name is Captain Morgan), was very knowledgeable regarding the boat, the area and the flora and fauna. She had two crew on board that she was training, Anders and Joe (shout out to them!), especially Anders-great spirit on this earth. I just had to give him props. Ok, back to Captain Morgan. She had the type of confidence one would want in a boat Captain. She navigates the boat well and was very aware of "boat etiquette", as we approached the other boats to get our mooring ball. As far as the snorkeling itself, "meh", as my friend would say. It was just ok, not great. There were definitely interesting shaped dull brown coral (looks like a wooden bowl), different size and shaped sponges, and a few interesting fish. I guess I was expecting more color...colorful coral, colorful fish...yeah, not so much. I gave it 5 stars because the dolphins and the crew pushed it out of the stratosphere. I can't guarantee you'll see dolphins like we did, but I can pretty much guarantee, your crew will be top notch! read more
