~update as of Feb 05, 2020~
i come back to seriously encourage anyone who is looking here to look elsewhere. It has been almost 3 months since moving and goodness, i'm so dang happy i left.
now i'm writing this not to say how i'm living a better life but more so because they way they "closed" our lease out was just completely ridiculous and so freaking prolonged. first of all, They requested some moving out costs that legitimately did not add up. We contacted and contacted them on how they should fix it and of course that took another extra week or so. Not sure why that is that long, maybe we could've had it done faster if they gave us a call, but it was all done through mail. I think it was all done through mail because nobody is ever in office. I say that because the whole time we were waiting for a response, literally each time we called the office, nobody answered. Maybe it's cause they know my number and refuse to? idk just seems odd how literally every time i called, there's no pick up. and i have call logs anyways so honestly if i still lived there i'd take that up to the actual management that there is no phone services, but i don't so that's for all the new residents to take care of. i'm just here to say that even if i was a prior resident, they still never made time for these sort of things, regardless if it was important to you.
i finally received the true amount and sent out a check and it's been almost a MONTH and they just not deposited it. Like dude come on? one month? how is this sorry ass business going to keep mailing me and emailing me, be down my neck about a payment that WASNT EVEN CORRECT and when they finally received my payment, they can't seem to process it??? i had to check my bank account literally every single day for clearance. Do you know how annoying that is considering they already left a bad taste in my mouth and don't care at all to help that situation.
i seriously think there's 3 reasons why they just absolutely suck and i've thought about it for a while because i literally did nothing but lived there and was treated with no respect. For what? anyways, either 1) they just don't like me for whatever reason, which is fine if you don't like me, but if i'm giving you business, do your job and keep it strictly business. 2)they really are THAT busy(doubt it, lived there for 2 yrs and within those years they literally had about 3-4 different projects that they started and never finished forr idk what reasons. i.e. The stairs in the lobby that they just left undone for how long, the side doors & locks that were never fixed despite the many emails sent saying they are "working on it", the garage door key/door that never opened or worked because the sensors are probably so damn old! The indoor sinks that flood and get clogged literally every week & makes your house smell like eggs and shit! so maybe they really ARE that busy "fixing" all those things. or 3) Just bad management.
the last option seems the most understanding to me because as i've mentioned in the previous post, there was a wonderful lady Benita who went above and beyond to make sure we truly understood anything we needed help on or just common living things like making it seem like she doesn't hate us or is condescending. There also was another lady, Veanne or Veanna? something like that. She was only at Echo 116 for a short time and i never saw her again. I really liked her she was so down to earth and helpful. I didn't see her until after moving, i had to go back and pick up some mail and she was there! i was like whoa hi nice to see you again! and she said the same. We got to small talk and it made me understand a little more as to why she left. Long story short, option 3!!!!!!! Glad she's in a better workplace now because as stressed as i am, i can only imagine the employees! Management, please re-evaluate yourself. For a residence that doesn't sweep you off your feet when you go for a tour , management really has a lot of balls. read more
