Avoid buying from Echelon at all costs! 7 months and 3 different ellipticals, none that have ever worked. And they are still selling them! Buyer beware! We purchased an Elliptical in October 2023 along with the delivery & set up. That machine never worked. Dozens of calls and emails later as well as troubleshooting with their IT for a few hours, and they had the defective machine picked up, replaced and set-up with a 2nd machine. The 2nd machine didn't work either. Dozens of emails and numerous phone calls later and they have the 2nd defective machine removed, and replaced and set up with a 3rd machine. The 3rd machine does not work either. Dozens of emails, several phone calls and another marathon troubleshooting session with their IT, and still no working machine. I filed formal complaints with the FTC and the NV Attorney General, which I let Echelon know that I did yesterday. Now, today, they are finally taking me seriously after several dozen hours of back and forth with them and the delivery/set-up company over the past 7 months. They finally stated the elliptical machines do not work and there is no fix. They said the only option at this time is a refund and returning the 3rd defective machine. Yet, they are still selling the elliptical 8S on their website as well as at least 11 other websites that I found. This is fraud at its finest people. They continue to knowingly sell ellipticals that do not work! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM! read more

Echelon has the worst customer service ever. Actually they do not have any customer service. You can never reach anybody you can never get anyone repaired yet. They sent me an invoice for two years worth of service and I have been trying to reach someone and get equipment repaired for two years so the equipment hasn't worked in over two years, but I receive an invoice for two years. So I tried to reach out to anyone in the company about the invoice and once again I can never reach anyone and if you find a phone number, you can call you will sit on hold for hours. read more

At the start of the pandemic and the quarantine, my girlfriend and I purchased an Echelon exercise bike so that we could workout at home. It was a godsend. An amazing product, and the classes were really challenging but fun. So one year after the start of the pandemic, and with the numbers dying down, we decided to do an overnight trip to Chattanooga to visit the Echelon Studio. We did two classes - one with Nicole and one with Jama, our two favorite trainers! Terrific! It was so fun and nice to meet our favorite people! And the studio was super nice and luxurious. You even got a cold, eucalyptus infused towel at the end of your workout. *Crying emoji* But they accommodated us in every way they possibly could have. Super happy with my experience. Side note - the studio is at the Chattanooga Choo Choo. So if you stay at the Choo Choo Hotel, you can just walk right over to the studio. Literally a two minute walk. read more

I purchased the ex-5s at the end of 2020 and after taking over 100 classes, getting in good shape, the experience really helped me prepare to never give up and keep pushing myself! This voyage of perseverance came in really handy when after a year I was double billed for a renewal on the Echelon 2 year subscription. I contacted support and and they straight up went dead on me after canceling my subscription but keeping my money (requests ## 838994 and 852143). Thankfully due to the awesome classes I had taken on the bike I didn't give up and kept persevering! I filed a dispute with my credit card company after being ignored by Echelon and was able to get my money back. Sure, I unnecessarily wasted hours of time but at least I didn't give up! read more

I bought an Echelon bike at the beginning of quarantine 2020. As an at-home rider I was stoked to find that I could come on down to Chattanooga and take in-studio classes and meet some of my fave instructors in person. So I did. The location inside the Choo Choo Hotel is special. Yes it's hokey, but it's still an absolutely gorgeous building and pretty magnificent to walk in to. The entire complex at the former terminal was a neat experience. The lovely ladies working at the front desk were welcoming and kind, making sure to help us find our way around and get settled. I regret that Covid brain prevents me from remembering their names to properly shout them out. The studio is clean and stocked with amenities. It feels high end without being pretentious. There are few things more frustrating than your only hair tie snapping during a workout, but they have you covered. Class size is limited to ensure social distancing, mask wearing is enforced, and everything is sanitized after use. Like all fitness studios there are quirks with the equipment but nothing that ruined the experience. My stats tracked in my account even though the bike didn't display them cumulatively in real-time. I wasn't too worried about the leaderboard (I'm never gonna win, lol) so it didn't matter that much to me anyways. I'm excited to go back for a longer trip, hopefully in the not so distant covid-free future. read more

This company is absolute garbage. They took almost two months to send me the bike I ordered. I tried canceling my order and was told they cancelled it. I was told I'd get a cancellation confirmation and it never arrived. (This was after waiting FOREVER to get a hold of someone) They never cancelled the order and the bike arrived. Now they just renewed my subscription to their awful company when I NEVER GAVE THEM by bank or debit info. They have tons of awful reviews that they are trying to hide by saturating their google results with their web pages and obviously fake reviews. Stay away from these clowns. read more

Zero customer support! I needed a new pulley belt for my ex5-s and they quickly emailed me an invoice when I called them to order replacement part. I wasn't happy that the belt shredded on it own with normal adult use. I was charged $17 and placed order. After 3 weeks still no shipping info so I called echelon lack of support and was told item is out of stock. I asked for a part number so I could find another source to get belt and was told it didn't have a part number and was just an internally used part. Called back at 4 weeks told still on back order. Spoke to supervisor who told me no eta on part but they'd email me once it shipped. Never did echelon offer to refund cost due to time and effort. Part finally arrived 6 weeks after order placed. Unacceptable. Please consider this when buying a exercise unit that echelon doesn't care about its paying customers once they have your money. read more

I have both a Peloton and Echelon Bikes. Echelon is by far the worst product that have ever purchased. Their customer service is pathetic. I love cycling and was super anxious for the studio to open! OMG u guys it was more than I expected.The people at front desk are very energetic and kind, the instructor I had made it super fun too! There is something about sweating and competing in a beautifully lit room with awesome music. I received the Echelon Stride-5s Smart Treadmill on 1/20/22. After taking two on-demand walking classes, my treadmill started to malfunction. Specifically, the treadmill belt stopped moving in the middle of a class, the incline went down to zero and the monitor went black, or the treadmill belt stopped moving and the monitor stayed on. I have contacted Echelon's customer service multiple times via email and phone since January. Echelon processed a warranty treadmill replacement, but they will not take back the defective treadmill. I have no room for two treadmills, so on 2/24/22, I requested a full refund via email, notified Echelon that I did not want the warranty treadmill replacement and asked why I was responsible for the cost of disposing of a 315 pound treadmill. I have not received a response from Echelon yet. I do not recommend doing business with Echelon. Their customer service is sub-par and they should not make the customer responsible for disposing of their defective product. read more
