This is the newest location of EC nails and spa. At first I was very excited to have an EC nails close to my home and right by my favorite grocery store, the Fresh Market; however, after my second visit I will NEVER visit here again.
The first time I came to this location to have a mani and pedi, there were no customers but me. I thought this was a good thing until the staff did nothing but talk in their native language among themselves and completely neglect me (the only customer in the salon!) You would think that it wouldn't take very long since there were no other customers, two hours later....I was finally done.
My second experience at this location was even worse. I attempt to get a pedicure at least once a week because my job requires me to be on my feet all day long. When I was getting the pedicure done, the technician asked when the last time I had one done, I said about two weeks prior. He then proceeded to challenge me on when and where I had it done, as though he thought I was lying! Then to my dismay he laid a piece of cuticle skin on the top of my foot and said " You look this!" It's upsetting that not only did he do that in an attempt to embarrass me but also to insinuate that I was lying. How completely RUDE! Why would a professional do such a thing? The entire salon did nothing but talk loudly in their native language, ignore my friend and myself and continue to act unprofessionally (the technician who was helping me especially). The prices always change, the pedicures seem to entail something different every time and the rudeness is completely appalling.
