This week will be my 6 treatment for hair laser removal and it has been working out very good, the staff is friendly, there is enough parking around the area and the place is ok. I went to this clinic for diet pills and shots. I was impressed with the office and the staff. I was VERY impressed with the care I received. I had gone to another local clinic and was going to be charged almost twice as much, and to get the pills all they did was weigh me and take my blood pressure. EC Medical group did an entire blood work up..very thorough and because there were some minor issues on my tests I had to get a Dr's note from my regular Dr. to be allowed to take the pills. Obviously they are not out to just take my money and put me at risk. I feel safe and very happy with my experience and will recommend them to anyone. read more

Please Beware! EC Medical Is DIRTY! I have bought a couple Groupon deals for laser hair removal, plus the pay 250 and receive 350 in credit from the Reader, I haven't been able to finish what i have purchased due to serious over booking, lack of cleanliness, and only one laser hair removal machine. I have to say only one positive for this company is Bree who is the manager she is pleasent and trys to make up for her companys huge flaws! When you call they are booking 45+ days out , after ariving you are in the waiting room which seats 5 but you are among the 12 plus people waiting for your same time slot, after a 45 minute wait they bring you back to one of the 2 laser rooms and have you sit for 20 minutes or so..... with that amount of time you are able to see how completely disgusting yhe equiptment is, caked on gel on the laser receptor,the floors have caked on dirt rings everywhere the equiptment touches the floor, and best the robe they ask you to undress in has dirty cuffs and and ring around the coller. I have 450 left in credit (cash) , and 3 full leg hair removal, plus 3 sessions of my armpits, Ive called! no response! Ive emailed! no response! Please don't waste your money here read more

I have been going to ECMG for almost 6 months. I went for weight loss and part of their safety measure was to test my blood and organs to insure I was healthy enough and would not be harmed from the shots and/or pills. My test came back only slightly off and they recommended me to either start hormone therapy to increase my numbers or to try an herbal approach. They gave me all the information I needed, did the herbal approach for 2 months, tested again, and now have been on the program for a bit under 3 months and have lost 22 lbs. The nurses there are super friendly and I never have to wait for my shot more then 5-7 minutes. I love getting Tiffany because I cannot even feel the shot and she is always asking if everything is going well. She always has a smile and is very knowledgeable about any questions I have asked. I'm shocked to read all these negative reviews. My girlfriend and I bought Groupon for Botox and made the trip down. We've both had Botox before. Everyone was nice, the place was clean and their price seem great. It did take a couple of weeks to get the appointment, but that happens with ALL the spas that sell a lot of Groupons. We didn't have to wait long in the lobby. Did they try to "sell up" and offer others services? Duh, have you ever been to a medical spa before? That's what they do. But they weren't pushy. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I had purchased a Groupon special for Botox and went in to redeem it expecting a positive experience. Instead I was denied service for voicing my concerns regarding ALL of the negative YELP stories. The nurse practitioner wouldn't even see me for my consultation. She made her staff do the dirty work for her and to tell me that they were uncomfortable giving me the Botox because I was concerned that they water it down (per Yelp reviews) and that I wanted to see the Botox go in my syringe (like they do at legit places). The staff then hurried me out with out a refund and real explanation! They told me to contact Groupon for my refund. I really hope that I will actually get refund. I wasted and hour and a half of my life for nothing!! I hope this never happens to anyone else!! This place is now trying to break away from the bad reputation from their previous location & name (aka. EC Medical Group). At least at their previous location I had better customer service than I did at this new one. I used to go to their previous location to get laser treatments at a reasonable price but ever since they moved here they refused to give me the same pricing for the same service.....as a matter of fact, their price tripled.WHAT?!? Now they're desperately trying to seem high end but you can get the same treatments elsewhere for a much better price. I purchased a package of 2 IPLs for $89. I was so pleased when I saw this special but if I could give one piece of advice... SAVE YOUR MONEY!! this treatment was nothing like what was advertised. The treatment claimed to reduce pigmentation, redness and rebuild collagen. To my dissapointment this is definitley not the treatment I recieved. The nurse (Jennifer) was clueless as to what she was doing, she couldnt even answer my questions like what ingedients are in this peel? what do they do? AND to top it off I already feel uneasy about this situation and this chicks phone goes off during my procedure... UNPROFESSIONAL!! As I was checking out or trying to get through this door with no handle I saw what seemed to be some pleased women hugging a what I think was a nurse there and thanking them for their amazing treatment?? although I immediatley thought too personal this I would have much preferred. A few days following my treatment I woke up with what seemed to be a rash, It was very itchy. When I called the clinic that morning I was told this is normal? Isnt that something I should have been told. The receptionist trasferred me to a nurse who knew much more than the nurse who performed the procedure... she was kind enought to explain that it was normal for me to be itchy and red because its our bodys response to the drying that occurs for the peels. She gave me a few tips which made the next few days much easier . But even with the brief pleasant experience i will not return to EC medical group... read more

Don't go. That's all I can say without being too harsh. I bought the Groupon offer and thought I'd try out the place. I waited well over an hour to be seen. The rooms were dirty, containers with gauze were left wide open with the lids placed right on the counter. Wires were hanging out of the light fixture also. I was going to leave before my procedure and I don't know why I didn't. I was not happy with the procedure either . I have cancelled my next appointment and called Groupon for a full refund. OMG! My sister purchased a Groupon (against my wishes) to this place. The reviews were my first clue that she shouldn't have tried this. She got it for the IPL for hair removal. Whomever is doing her treatments not very good at her job. I hope she's a licensed nurse! She has way more hair than she should after 8 sessions. She's too embarrassed to say anything because she said the people there are rude and pushy. She also said she can hear them through the walls, some of the things she heard are horrifying and others while funny to hear, are very unprofessional for this kind of environment. It appears to be gossip about each other, their lifestyles and the other clients going here. I did some checking and found that there is only 1 nurse practitioner there, the consultant doesn't even have training in the medical field, she learned on the job from the other guy who used to be a car salesman. They have had a high turn around rate of staff from MA's to RN's. (that can't be good). The "consultant", from what my sister has told me, is very rude and pushy. She gets kind of mean the way she points out how their other services will help her. I will give my sister credit for standing her ground and trying them out before purchasing additional "deals" from them. It's all about the money there, certainly not the client! I read some of the comments from the "owner" and they don't sound sincere. A friend of a friend told us that she used to work there and left because the staff is too wild and crazy. They don't even have a physician on site (ever according to this nurse). The comments from owners here are not from the physician, but from the guy who works in the back. It's a bit weird and shady for my liking. My sister now goes to the clinic where I get my treatments and feels much better and after 3 treatments she looks like she's actually getting what she paid for. I don't usually leave reviews like this, however, I feel that if people are taking the time to read this, then they deserve to know the truth. I work in a dental office and get botox at another clinic, neither of these places have reviews like this and none of the staff speak or act like EC Medical Group apparently does. Wow I am really surprised this place is getting low ratings. I also purchased the 6 laser hair removal on groupon and I have one left to go (they gave me an extra one because of having to reschedule an appt which was no biggie) I did my underarms let me say one thing I am half middle eastern nuff said, after my 3rd treatment I started to see a difference, now very little of it grows back and only in a tiny spot. I'm sure everyone's body reacts to the laser differently, I am very pleased with my results and will be trying my legs next...also I have never once had an issue with the staff they are always smiling and helpful when I ask tons of questions and I'm usually in and out of there under 20 min. So I don't know I'm just lucky I guess or the people who are pleased with EC aren't yelping enough! read more

I hate to do this but I have to mention that after a year of coming here to have my Botox done, I had a situation come up and the customer service I received back was the worst. I had a Botox treatment done and for some reason it caused both my eyebrows and my moms eyebrows to droop. This was the first time either one of us experienced this, being that these are medically trained people I called back to them to inquire as to what was happening. When I showed up for my appointment the first thing I was told was that they see no difference and then started saying they will make me look at a before picture to compare. Instead of asking or even trying to educate me on what was happening they immediately went into defense mode. After I explained that I was pretty sure I knew my face, seeming as though I happen to wake up to it every morning of my life, that I could not even put mascara on because of the droop and I figured that since THEY were the ones that injected me that THEY would be able to help. The girl became more defensive told me I signed a waiver and that they would not give me my money back. At this point I was in so much shock because all I wanted was a medical explanation of what was happening, I never once even asked for a refund or even thought about it. I felt I had built a relationship with this place for being a customer for over a year but when push came to shove they didn't really care about keeping me as a customer in the end. read more

this place canceled my scheduled and they left a voice mail that they are going to reschedule my appointment in few days !!! now its been almost 2 months and whenever I called they told me they gonna call back soon and reschedule it...my face now is came up with too much hair which i don't know what to do!!!! i used to go to other place which was more expensive but when i found their deal i changed to this group because I was unemployed. NOW I HATE IT !!!! they don't even never call you to remind you for your appointments but they call and cancel it for you and then never reschedule. I bought a Groupon for 2 IPL sessions for $99. I wish I had read the filtered reviews before I purchased. All the negative reviews are correct. They have horrible customer service and everytime I call I am placed on hold. On my first appointment I waited a half hour before being seen. Once I was in the room they really tried to pressure me into purchasing a jessner peel. Said it was very common to do the IPL and the Jessner Peel on the same. I explained to her that I had a gift certficate for a Jessner Peel at another business scheduled for the following week and she proceeded to tell me that I need to wait at least two weeks. I don't understand how they can do them the same day of my procedure but I have to wait two weeks to go elsewhere. The girl that did my procedure was really nice and friendly. She was the only good experience about that place (I wish I remembered her name so I could give her credit). I scheduled my second IPL appointment a month after my first appointment just as they recommended. They called me the week before my second appointment and said that they were not open the day I was scheduled. I was ok with rescheduling and they rescheduled me for four days later. I came in for my second appointment and waited for 20 minutes until staff finally acknowledged that I was still waiting and they assured me it would only be 10 more minutes. I told them I had to leave at a certain time and staff assured me again I would have plenty of time to get the treatment and leave on time. I waited another 15 minutes and staff said they didn't know what was taking so long with the other client and they only had one room they do the IPL's in. So she said she would need to reschedule me for another day and would give me a gift certificate. As I was rescheduling she told me that she recommends that I come at 10:00 a.m. when they open so I don't have to wait. This statement tells me that they have an ongoing issue with appointments running over. They need to manage their schedule better. I read several other filtered reviews on yelp that have the same complaint of waiting an hour for their scheduled appointment so it's obviously a reoccuring issue. I have called them several times and left a message for the manager to call me back to discuss this issue. I am not going back to this place for a second treatment and am hoping they will refund my money that I paid in advance and have not received services for. I honestly really like this place im sad to see so many bad reviews.. I have found that the receptionist can be rude not all the time but definitely can be.. My treatments are going amazingly both ladies i have had Have done an outstanding job at making me feel comfortable and relaxed.. Doing it quick and painless as possible.. My only complaint about the treatment is i feel like they should do it a little more thoroughly because both times they dont really get my inner areas. But i'm just going to ask next time i dont think its that big of a deal. Its an amazing deal! Really cute place.. Does not seem dirty at all!! they do an Icing method for the pain which if done right will really help! My first time i held it in one place the whole time when i was icing and yes that spot didnt hurt but everywhere else did!!! last time moved it around alot more icing all areas and the pain was soooooooo much tolerable. read more

Better late than never, here is the update after finishing my 8 sessions of hair removal on my underarms. I still have a moderate amount of underarm hair growing back and still have to shave! I am not a particularly hairy person nor is my hair super coarse or thick but the sessions definitely did not have the effect they claimed. I am not happy with the results and definitely will not be going back for additional services. After 8 sessions I would say AT BEST I still have about 50% of the hair growth so I can only imagine how many more sessions it would take to be rid of it... I will be looking into different locations for laser hair removal. read more

I originally went here with a Groupon as did a lot of people who's reviews I read. t. I know I saw so many Happy, happy clients while I was there. They have been there 15 years, I guess not everyone is unhappy. There were some downsides. The parking is not the greatest, however I got a spot just fine and there is street parking.I read about the wait. When I got back there, I was not rushed like I was being herded like cattle. Bree came and greeted me and we talked about family and each other. She made me feel like I matter. Then I told her where I wanted my Botox. I was willing to pay for additional Botox because I wanted it in more than one place. Perhaps many may have been unhappy because the Groupon only covers one section Not for me to say. I wanted the forehead and lips. Again the gal that did this for me, very attentive and friendly. I have been thinking long and hard about getting a Vamp facelift. I made no mention of this. Bree said I could get this at an awesome price. No pressure or anything. She showed me pictures. I went back and forth as to whether I wanted to do it. She still did not rush me. She told me sometimes it requires 2 treatments. I did know this. I was told I could have the same price as well. I could also have done the next day because I have a very special event in 2 weeks. Never once was she pushy. The next day I met with Bree who prepared my face. I must say I was really afraid especially since the first thing she put on really burned. she told me that happened to her too. The lift is awesome no matter what age. Then came the numbing. Nice. I had to wait at least 1/2 hour so it was safe to proceed. Thank goodness for cellphones! So I played solitaire and waited. Then I meet Dawn. She is Great. With a capital G. She was funny, caring and professional. They did a dermapen first and then the lift. I did not quite understand this. It did freak me out a bit., especially when I left I looked like I was beat by a baseball bat 3 times over. They gave me instructions and I followed them to the letter. I went back a week later however I was panicked. To me everything looked worse and my skin was so dry. Now my husband said differently. He said it was great. I did not listen especially because of the dryness of my skin. Went I got there I did not even wait to speak to Bree. Wow what a difference! I did need a Botox touch up. So they did. She assured me that if I need it again they will. The dry skin is a good thing and she gave me something for itt. Fixed it right up. I thought I had more wrinkles than I started with. Nope have way less. And as time goes by, I will have less and less. I am glad I did it there. I am glad it is with people that showed me that I matter read more

I used a Groupon, and yes, you do get what you pay for, and they did a great job! I wasn't there for the looks of the building, I was there to get botox for my looks. The nurse was wonderful and even offered for me to come back if I needed a touch up on my very deep frown lines. I haven't been back, but if they offer another Groupon deal I wouldn't hesitate. I did have to wait for maybe 20 minutes, but you wait just like if you're at another doctor appointment or restaurant. Get real people!!!! Loved the staff. Thank You! read more

I had had the worst experience ever!!!! I had a group on for this place try to make an app. They had every excused to not have an available one until it expired! Then they told me they would not honor it Because it was expired!! I went ahead and made an app. For 9 am and they did not told me they had move. I was calling to see what was going on and they open at 10 am. Then I waited till ten and they told me my app. Was for 3 pm. I work every day at 12:30 pm I wouldn't of make that app. Something really wrong with that place. I will never go there again! read more

So I finally got my botox this morning! First of all, the place was clean. I specifically looked at the floor (since other reviews stated that the floor was gross). Maybe the staff read the reviews and cleaned their office. Either way, the place was clean! I went in to the room and Bri came in to talk to me about how next time, if I want botox again, they will honor the groupon price again, even if there is no groupon. She told me about some of their other services that I might be interested in, but was not pushy at all. Then came Brittany (I think that was her name). She administered the goods. I had a couple questions for her about the recovery process (since this was my first time getting botox ever!) and she was able to answer them perfectly fine. My only complaint is that my appointment was at 10am, the actual injections took 5 minutes, but I walked out of there at 11:00am. Whatever though. I could see they were busy and not just standing around. Overall, a very good experience! read more

I'm was completely dissatisfied with this place. I was looking forward to starting the weight loss program and happened to call the day of my appointment to see if I could be seen earlier and all of a sudden I'm notified that I will be charged more than $50 on top of what I had already been confirmed (which happened to be just the day before). What upset me was not so much the price increase, but mainly their lack of properly communicating with their patients and notifying them ahead of time of any change (price increases, product/service additions/deletions,etc.) ESPECIALLY, when its a new patient and that patient is already going in with a concrete understanding. If I hadn't called, I would of not been aware, at least not until I had checked in for my appointment and then had to pay. I should have read the poor reviews that EC Medical Group has on here, via Google, and they even have "no rating" with the BBB, my experience definitely confirms all the bad reviews out there. They may have good prices but beware. Sometimes its true, you get what you paid for = bad experience. read more
