I really want to love this place in full, but it's just missing a few accounts. Well cold. It's really just missing some cold coffee. I've been three times now, and have received a hot beverage 2/3 times I've ordered iced. It's not the end of the world, but when it's hot out it makes a difference. My absolute favorite coffee shop! I recommend the cappuccinos, their espresso is top notch. My husband also loves their macchiatos. We've had their drip coffee before too which is good but it's not what keeps us coming back. Pastries are amazing! We've never eaten breakfast there before but the menu looks tasty. It's the kind of place that you sit and stay a while. It is not a quick hustle and bustle shop like Starbucks. I've loved Ebru from the start but I don't drink coffee so I didn't visit often. Then they posted about their matcha lattes on Instagram and I was practically there the next day. I've worked from their cafe on a few occasions but since COVID-19, we started ordering out nearly every week. Though there was no outdoor seating left when I arrived, the woman at the register offered to drag another table out, which was SO kind. The staff was very friendly and when the young man behind the counter found out it was my first time visiting, he offered some information about their coffee. Ebru works directly with coffee farmers around the globe to make certain everyone from the farmer to the customer is getting the best price. I purchased an iced latte, which was delicious. Their espresso was smooth and rich, which made for a great brew. I didn't feel rushed to finish my coffee and move on, which is also great. I also really appreciate that they offer non-paper/plastic options when you dine in. Overall, the coffee was delicious and affordable. I will definitely be stopping in again!! read more

Adorable little shop on the corner! What a find! If you're looking for a nice traditional espresso with a robust dark smokey feel in the mouth, look no further. The cortado was a little dark for me. I am more of the lighter, brighter fruity notes in an espresso but presentation and consistency were spoand baristas are knowledgeable. So I'm changing my review to a 5 star. This place caught my eye on my way to 422. I love local coffee places, so I thought I stop in an buy some ground coffee for my French press at home. It is a very unique spot in Audubon. The decor inside is modern and fun to look at while waiting for your order. The people who run the place were very friendly and easy to talk to. I enjoyed the coffee at home. Wanted to try a new coffee shop this weekend and my sister recommended Ebru. We stopped by late Saturday morning along with my fiance, and had a nice experience. What we tried: -Hot Chai Latte: This was my drink of choice, and it was definitely one of the better ones I've had. I like how they mimic the leaf pattern of espresso art by using a stencil and cinnamon on top. -Iced Chai Latte: My sister's drink, which was so good! I usually don't like chai lattes iced, but this was delicious. They also served it in the cutest can-shaped glass. -Pour-over Coffee: My fiance asked the barista to recommend a coffee for this style. The barista asked his roast preference (medium) and then selected one, which he was happy with. There was additional coffee in the carafe it was made in, which was brought to the table to accompany the already-filled mug. This was a nice touch. Ebru is really cute and I like the decor + seating area. There is also ample parking in the dedicated lot outside. Despite enjoying all of the drinks we tried, there were two things that I think can be improved: 1) Service was reeeeally slow. It took ten+ minutes to get our two chai lattes, and my fiance's cold brew was closer to twenty. I was really shocked how long it took, especially since there were three people behind the counter and not many people in the cafe at all. Perhaps we just caught them at a bad time. 2) It would be nice if they had a large menu above the bar. When we got in, the cashier immediately asked what we would like to drink, but since it was my first time there, I didn't know what they offered. There was a small paper menu near the register, which we used to make our selections. I did not see a food menu, but noticed other people with nice looking toasts, so I'm wondering if that was on the next page and I just missed it. I will be back again to give Ebru another shot as I did like everything we ordered. I'm looking forward to trying this out in the warmer months as well when they open up their cool garage door and do outdoor seating. read more
