I come here often to get gas because of their prices and its up the street from where I work. I went here yesterday after work to get gas and decided to get a carwash. While in the carwash I hear a loud noise thinking my license plate got bent. When I drove out to dry my car the entire case came off (pictures) I went inside and told the clerk. He said "there is nothing I can do its a self serve carwash" I replied that it is part of the gas station and they are responsible. He said "there is nothing I can do". I had to pay $40 to get a new license plate holder. I will never return to this gas station again no matter the price. **DO NOT USE THE CARWASH*** Unacceptable business practice. read more

I left my wallet at home. The card reader would not take my Apple Pay and when I asked the man if it was his system that did not accept it he was extremely rude and repeatedly snapped at me that it was not his system but that my PIN number was incorrect. Each time I tried to ask him to try it again he rudely barked at me. I drove a block away to the Arco where I easily got a full tank of gas with my Apple Pay and very much not incorrect PIN number. No rude jerks at the Arco either. Long story short, good luck paying here if you're trying to use Apple Pay or are looking for a pleasant customer service interaction. I work next to EBK Fuel so I will likely get gas there. They have good prices but I had something happen when I recently fueled up that shocked me. My car took more fuel than it ever has. I had about 1/3 rd of a tank when I pulled in so it should have needed about 6 gallons. Here the weird part: after the pump shut off I watched as the gas in the filler bubbled as gas was being released from the tank. Did I pay for air with my gas? read more

Be very cognizant of what the prices for things are advertised as, and what they attempt to charge you. This business employs misleading marketing/pricing tactics in order to scam their customers out of a few bucks every chance they get! For example: The gas price will be advertised as 20- 30 cents cheaper if you use a debit card or cash to pay. Upon seeing the total at the register, you will soon realize the price is equal to the advertised price of if you were to pay with a credit card. 20-30 cents more expensive per gallon. The same tactic is employed with alcohol and snacks. There will be one price tag, placed in between two items. One would assume that this one price tag pertains to the other items on that shelf, or directly near the price tag, considering it's the only one in that proximity. Right? Wrong! Upon paying, you'll realize the item is $3-$5 more expensive than any price tag even near your item of purchase. This is intentional, and is figuratively spitting in the face of their customers. They think we are stupid! Vote with your wallet & take your business elsewhere. read more

Useless gas station. They sell propane but I stood there while the cashier said "I'll come in ten minutes to fill it" and ten minutes later I ask again and he says "30 more minutes " um what? This station is so convenient to stop by on the way home and the people working there are always so nice. Every time I walk in I am greeted with a "hi my friend!" And genuinely asked how I am doing. I would absolutely continue to go here if I moved to another local area specifically for the warm atmosphere created by the people who work there. I can't say enough good things. read more

I decided to try the Gas Buddy app to see where the cheapest gas station was, and it directed me to here. Funny cause I always past this street, and I never even noticed this gas station existed. Definitely on the jankier side, but they do advertise gas for 20 cents cheaper than their competitors. I just pumped about half way too last me until I'm not too lazy to drive to Costco. Gas seems efficient enough, but would have to test a few more times to validate the gas quality. read more

We fuel up here all the time. I don't get the harsh reviews of this station. Relax people-- it's a gas station not a five star hotel. My wife and I take our cars through their attached car wash whenever they could use a wash and we're not near our regular car wash in North County. They make it easy to pull in without having to steer your wheels into some fluky position. Their machine has never damaged any of our vehicles and does a pretty good job on our exteriors. Neither of us has ever dealt with anything but courteous attendants here as well. Even when my wife drove off with the gas nozzle still attached. (Distracted by news of her mom's death). They recently updated their front pumps area. Looking sharp.Their little snack shop is convenient and they sell alcohol besides just snacks. read more

idk why people rate this gas station so poorly. You get gas for a cheaper price than anywhere else (like Costco prices) and also the guy that works there is always so sweet. My new Mazda recently had issues and I kept having to fill up my tire with air. Although I am a frequent customer there always getting my gas and sometimes my Vapes at this gas station since it's down the street from my apartment and has good gas prices, it is usually always the rule of thumb that you only get free air when having purchased gas. But since my tire kept running low on air too often I had to come in like 3 times this past week to fill up air. And the guy always working there is so nice and lets me fill my tire with air. Today he automatically asked me upon making a small purchase if I needed air. Haha he read my mind. And he was curious and asked me what seemed to be the problem with my tire. I told him that I assumed it was the valve but later on as I filled up the air I saw the screw in my tire. Wescott Mazda Service Center would have charged me $24 dollars to patch up my tire. I ran back inside to Inform the guy and said "haha yes... it is in fact a screw in my tire" . He told me to go to Discount tires and they will patch up my tire for free. And so I did. And yes it was free. They said it might take up to an hr until my car was ready because I came without an appointment. I strolled around the isles of target and only after 15 min of having dropped off my car... my car was ready for pickup. Thank you to the nice guy at the gas station! Thank you for saving me $24 dollars and thank you for being so kind and helpful. I always appreciate a good hearted human being like this guy. I will be a customer for as long as I live in this area. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE SCAM! They advertise that you can get $0.20 off per gallon on gas if you buy a car wash. I bought my car wash, then brought my receipt inside to the clerk to get the discount on my gas, and he said since I did not pay together I couldn't get the discount. This is not advertised anywhere!! The signs actively make it seem like you need to buy the carwash first to get the discount. The clerk refused to give me the discount, and was one of the rudest and most condescending people I have ever met. I asked to speak to a manager and he refused, I asked where this information was written and he just pointed outside at the sign. I took a photo of the sign and showed him, and he basically just laughed in my face. One of the other customers came out after me and said that the clerk was badmouthing me after I left, and that he had also fallen for this scam before too. Please please please do not support this business! They do not deserve it! I will never again buy gas here! read more

Nice people. Clean interior to their small store. Their store offers quick snacks, Lotto tickets, newspapers, a liquor selection (including beers and wine) and the usual gas station market offerings. They have an attached car wash that does a decent job cleaning your vehicle. Sometimes they have men posted to vacuum and finish off your vehicle but sometimes they don't. They do discount your gas purchase (I think 20 cents a gallon) if you spring for a car wash. This gas station was Valero until it changed ownership. Better quality gas than the Arco station across the way. Tip: They offer Diesel. Not everyone does. read more

The fuel pump hose was leaking where it attached to the pump handle. It was a steady, fast drip, so I stopped filling and notified the attendant. He came out, saw the leak, said "it's fine" and walked back inside. Dangerous, sketchy. read more

Horrible gas station. They are required by law to have restrooms as they are within 660 feet of the freeway. They gave an excuse that there restroom was out of service. I've gone here a few of times for a car wash since it's right around the corner from my gym. My first experience was mediocre wash my second and last visit yesterday didn't clean my car much at all I felt like I might as well of just sprayed it with the hose with NO SOAP for a free compatible wash. The 20 cents off per gallon deal with a car wash is the only reason I kept retuning for it. The wash isn't worth it but the discounted gas is! read more
