Only in emergencies do I use Arco. This was one of those cases. Yes, they still rip you off on your debit card and charge 35 cents, even though they aren't charged to process a debit card. I always choose credit so they don't get the benefit of using my debit card, fee free. Just matching the petty energy. What can I say? These gas prices have me angry about everything these days. ARCO - Over Priced Gas - Gas Stations Near Me - San Diego, California

There is construction going on so the mini mart is closed. They still have an attendant taking payments for gas out front in a modular unit. Gas line was packed bc of a driver not abiding by the lane direction arrows so I waited 15min to get a pump (I was stuck in between 2 vehicles). It should be a better experience after construction is complete. I pulled in for a quick spot of gas and a cool drink before going to Costco later. Oh well now I know to wait until construction is complete. read more

How is this place 24/7 and it is closed in the mornings? The worker has a sign up that says closed until 5:30am . Then either the maps have to be updated or something, because this is not a very reliable information and set schedule. read more

Convenient location. Next to the major freeways. Easy to find. Spacious gas pumps. Never crowded. Personally I don't get gas at Arco, so I can't say on the gas prices or pumps. I just come here for quick items like drinks and snacks. Good enough for me. read more

The DUMBEST attendant works here. I came early morning to fill up and she was SMOKING A CIGARETTE right in front of the pumps just ashing her cigarette a few feet away from where I was pumping gas. read more

Think about how irksome a gas station has to be to warrant someone actually taking the time to write a review. Because that should tell you a lot right there. This is the closest gas station to my work, and I would rather drive FARTHER than go here. It is one of the only gas stations I've seen have a direction of traffic. If you enter the wrong way, as you absolutely would if you've been going to gas stations without a problem for YEARS, you will have screwed over yourself and everyone else already there. All gas is the same, and arco is usually the cheapest place around. Avoid the $.35 fee by paying in cash!

Don't like to gas here because they still don't accept credit cards. This spot is also small and very tight. Not much room to get around other cars. Very convenient location just off the 163 freeway, at the corner of Clairemont Mesa Blvd and Kearny Villa Rd. I come here only to buy sunflower seeds. My favorite is spitz - black pepper. read more

This is my first review on Yelp. This gas station sucks! It was 10 cents cheaper than other gas stations so I went there. And the machines does not work with my debit card! I tried two pumps and neither of them works. So I went in to ask someone about this and the Asian guy who works there has the worst attitude you can ever imagine. Not only he did not solve the problem for me, he tried to sell me 50 dollar gas instead of what I said which was 15 bucks. He then blame me for not saying the word fifteen correctly. I will never buy gas from this location ever again. I used to buy gas from this location once or twice a week, today I had to put a little air in my tire. I asked the clerk to please turn on the air, she told me I had to my quarters, I said to her I buy gas here often, and she just looked at me and smirked, their gas is the highest on the block. Only debit and cash accepted. On top of that, there is a $.35 fee to use the debit card. Gas pumps extremely slow compared to other stations. At least I could watch the same 3 commercials about 5 times each. read more

This gas station charged and showed filling me up more than my tank holds by just under a gallon. Also they charge a $0.35 fee that makes them not worth going to. And the forced advertisements while filling up suck. I wish I knew where to report this. read more

The gas pumps weren't taking debit cards this morning and I went inside to see if it was just my card or all of them weren't working. There were no signs on the gas pumps at all. I waited in line and the female employee behind the cashier station gave me a major attitude when she said how much do you want. I told her $40 and I told her that I wanted to pump it outside because I didn't know exactly how much it would take. She gave me an attitude and said well it only charge you for what you get. And I said well exactly because I don't know if I need more that I am telling you. She again gave me another attitude and told me well then cancel it out and tell me how much you really want it for. There was absolutely no reason for her crappy attitude this morning. Personally if she was my employee, I would fire her. I will not be returning to this location because their poor customer service and the poor attitudes other employee, have made me never want to return. read more
