I have been to many dentist in NYC and Dr. Karen Kang and her team are by far the best. Dental work can be extremely confusing, stressful and expensive. The team here understand this and respects that. Dr. Kang once taught in the NYU dentistry and so she is willing to walk you through everything she is doing and why. It has put me at ease several times when I've had to get complex dental work done. Her team is also understanding and work with you as they know it can be expensive to get work done. I needed a dentist in Midtown and good ole trusty yelp weeded out the good from bad dentists. I saw positive reviews and called Ebenezer to see if they accept my insurance (YES! for Blue Cross Blue Shield) and if they accept new patients (YES!) and they had an opening ready for the next day. Pretty effortless process, called and spoke to someone right away, didn't have to deal with connections and auto responses. Staff is young and nice, location is beyond perfect. I went in for a cleaning, they took x-rays and noticed 2 cavities. Was able to book a caviting filling within a week and they gave me good/WAY more helpful advise on my impacted wisdom teeth. Dr. Kang IS GREAT! I recommend this dental practice to the fullest! Good people, will take care of you. Will be back in 6 months for my routine check up. read more

They over charged me!!! I went to Ebenezer Dental two times. The first was for a routine checkup. For the second visit they recommended that I get two fillings and a night guard. On the second visit I was charged (and paid for) a $50 deductible, and my dental insurance (MetLife) said a deductible should never be charged by a provider. I've spent 1.5 hours on the phone with the dentist's office and MetLife on 3 separate calls (I had to call them both at the same time), and the provider has still not provided the necessary information to MetLife for this $50 deductible charge (I visited the dentist on Feb 15th so it's been almost 3 months). Therefore, it makes me question the integrity of the Dentist's office, as MetLife has led me to believe that I should never have been charged the deductible. It also makes me question if the services I had completely were in fact needed at all. read more

I just love this dentist office, my teeth have some major issues and I a so glad I found these guys. The office manager is just brilliant at explaining everything about the procedures and cost and what your options are. Dr, Kang is BRILLANT, she too explains everything and takes her times with you. And they have a 3D machine that makes there own crowns what the heck. Having that printer save an enormous amount of time, they make going to the dentist not a bad experience. read more

Pretty good dentist experience as a first time patient. Took some X-rays and did a standard cleaning. I always tell the dentist that if he's going to do any work on me and I have to PAY for it, you should always inform me beforehand. I've had some dentists who don't really ask or ask while my mouth is being pried open by an instrument and it just gets kind of awkward when I realize that I was charged for something I'm not really aware of. Ebenezer was super understanding and also had the office manager explain to me what my insurance covers and what it does not cover and gave me the exact price of everything, which I super appreciate. The hygienist was amazing. Super gentile and very sensitive to how I was responding when she was cleaning my teeth. Place was also very clean and brightly lit, so no shadiness/red flags felt. I have been coming to Ebnezer Dental since early 2012 and only have incredible things to say about them. My teeth were in pretty bad shape when I found Dr. Kang and her team and they have consistently provided excellent care. My teeth are almost back to full-health! Not only have I had numerous cavities filled here, but they've also performed two extractions and three root canals. In addition, they've fitted all six of my front teeth with porcelain veneers. After they spent their own money and time making veneers that I wasn't entirely satisfied with, they re-did them and re-fit them free of charge. Now I am confidant, and receive multiple compliments on my smile. That's not to say that getting such extensive work done doesn't come with it's draw backs -- I still experience residual pain and have had to get a root canal in the affected area retreated, but this is to be expected when such extremes are taken to change your appearance. Due to all of my problems, I often find myself with "reflective" pains and scares but Dr. Kang and her team are always incredibly kind, and willing to see me whenever I have any concerns at all. They've accepted all three of my insurance policies over the years and have frequently lowered their prices to fit my budget -- without being prompted. The office manager is one of the nicest men I've ever met and I look forward to talking with him as a friend AND patient each time I visit. I would recommend Dr. Kang and everyone at Ebenezer Dental without reservation. Ebenezer Dental is like a unicorn of dentists in NYC: the staff and doctors are kind, professional, honest, AND they accept my insurance. Don't be freaked out by the eyelash threading studio with the same name on the floor below. Sometimes the elevator doesn't work. But the actual office is spotless AND even has current magazines. I have the worst teeth in the history of ever (thanks, genetics!), so to say I like this place means a lot. This comment is about the clerk Keven, and not the dentist. Although this could be the offices usual approach. Condescending, and misleading on prices of procedures. Desk clerk(Keven) said my insurance was approved, and then didn't disclose the cost/fee of a procedure until the procedure was already done, and wouldn't negotiate a reasonable payment plan. Keven was the worst! I went in for a cracked tooth and before they did my partial crown, they said I needed two more crowns, which was not brought up during the initial exam. I feel they are pushing unnecessary procedures to cash in. If you can afford anything out-of-pocket right away, then this place is great, but if not, go to another dentist. read more

Don't be deterred by the fact that there is an eyelash threading salon under the same name at the same location, right on 7th Ave. The elevator was broken today so I had to take the stairs to the 4th floor for my second cleaning / exam here in a year. The stair route got me a backstage view of the office, which reinforced that this is a little gem of a dentist's office in Midtown. Once you enter the offices you forget that the name and entrance creeped you out for a minute. Everything is immaculate, bright and new. The hygienists are very friendly, they work fast, and they don't try to ask you for your life story when they have sharp objects and a suction hose in your mouth! Both times the techs and Dr. Kang have been right on time, with little waiting in between X-rays, cleaning and check-up. I have recommended many coworkers to Ebenezer as it's an easy walk from our office, but would even recommend seeing them if a longer trip is required. read more

I had a composite resin filling that fell out while I was flossing. It was done at Nina Kiani's office only after a year or so since its installment. I was already dismayed with my previous dentist office for quite some time (for I felt that I was being sandbagged with unnecessary or improper procedures to maximize their squeeze out of my insurance.) This resin falling out of my tooth compounded with 'use up all of your insurance before the year changes' e-mail reminder were the last straw, and I knew my wife and I had to look for a new family dentist. I found out about Ebenezer Dental on a Korean forum site called HeyKorean.com, and although it had star rating system, it lacked reviews with substance. So I searched on yelp and I read quite a bit of positive reviews, along with one very negative review that revolved around 'waiting time'. Since review didn't mention any issues with the dental procedures, I figured it wouldn't be much of an issue for me. I called to make an appointment, and I was able to get a check up on the following day. Once I got to the location, I braced myself for a long wait in accordance to the negative review. I showed up at 3:50 PM and my appointment was at 4 PM, but I wasn't actually seen for x-rays until 5 PM. Then I had to wait another 25 minutes or so before Dr. Kang showed up. Since I expected this, it wasn't so bad. She looked really swamped, but she was attentive and prompt with the procedure once she got to work on me. I was explained in great details that if I chose to do another composite resin filling, it may break or fall off again, since the gap was quite big. I was also informed that insurance would not cover a same procedure twice on the same area, and I may end up getting root canal as a worst case scenario. I loved that Dr. Kang broke it down medically, then the tall gentleman who appeared to be front desk manager (his name escapes me!) broke down the financial aspect of the procedure. He empathized with my frustration and he offered me a competitive pricing as well. Although I was informed that they had machine that can create my porcelain tooth on site, since I was there late, and it would be a major procedure, I only got temp filling with Dr. Kang and I was booked for following Monday. Dr. Kang placed temp quite well, and she explained the procedure as she was doing it. I loved that she stayed communicating with me, and her information was quite educational as well. Also, she finished up in matter of minutes, and the bite felt quite natural even with the temp alone. I went home thinking I would return on the following Monday with about a week of wait. However, I was called in to be squeezed in on the following day (since I expressed I wanted it done as soon as possible). Unlike my first visit, I was shown in soon after my arrival, so I'm guessing it was just really hectic and the prolonged delays are not the norm in the office. This time, it wasn't Dr. Kang, and another dentist whose name was muffled behind the mask when she introduced herself (It was Dr. Chang? Shang? Or something like that - I could be totally off, so I'll be sure to update her name when I find out) She was also informative, and it was quite obvious she was passionate with her craft, so I was instantly put to ease. Although the procedure was estimated between 1.5 hours to 2 hours, I was done under an hour. Overall, my experience at Ebenezer has been nothing but sunshine and rainbows, so I'll be looking forward to returning for my first cleaning in next few months! :-) read more

Finding a good dentist in NYC is no easy task. After moving here, I bounced between a few different ones and was swindled on a few occasions so I'm super weary. I first came here out of convenience because it was right next door to my old office, but 4 years later, I'm still going because I trust them. The office is small, but very clean and the staff is super friendly. If they're running behind, they'll call and let you know so you don't sit in the waiting room longer. So many dental offices close mid-afternoon, but Ebenezer can accommodate after work appointments. My only gripe is I feel like they suggest X-Rays every time I walk in, and I know my insurance won't cover them for every visit. So, be sure you know your plan. read more

Was looking for a local dentist and was steered to Ebenezer by a co-worker. Had a x-rays and a cleaning. First thing I was told that all was covered by my insurance and not to worry. I was then presented with every possible procedure that would be covered if needed. I found this odd. X-rays were taken. Uneventful. Then the cleaning. The worst. I go to the dentist every year. This was painful and the dentist dropped their equipment on me staining my shirt. Then I'm told that my wisdom teeth need to be pulled and that I have Periodontitis and a deep cleaning is needed. Didn't trust the diagnosis so I went to my previous dentist. Guess what? No periodontitis and no need for the wisdom teeth to be removed. This place is trying to up the billable procedures to submit for insurance and In my opinion will over treat for their profit. I would stay away. read more

It's hard to find a good doctor or dentist in Manhattan and I really wanted to like Ebenezer Dental; however, I was extremely unhappy with my experience there. Like most of these reviews say: yes, it was very clean. This dental office has all the newest technology and the staff seemed great. But there is more to it; you want to trust your dentist and what they say - they're the specialist, after all. I had three appointments at Ebenezer Dental over the past year and a half - cleaning every six months and X-rays every other appointment. The two times my X-rays were taken, Dr. Kang said that I had several cavities. Putting my trust in my dentist, I had three cavities filled the first time. The next X-ray (a year later), Dr. Kang told me I had several more cavities. And I became really skeptical. I grew up not having many cavities - I get my teeth cleaned every six months, I brush, floss; I always tried to take really great care of my teeth. To continuously hear that I had cavities was really frustrating to me. Again, I setup an appt to have two cavities filled. While in the chair for my filling, Dr. Kang convinced me to get a porcelain filling. Before she started the work, I brought up pricing - not the doctor. Insurance doesn't cover the porcelain filling so the cost was around $600 (out of pocket) compared to $30 for a regular filling. The doctor would have went through with the porcelain filling if I hadn't brought up price. A cost difference such as that should have been brought up by the doctor and when I stressed that to Dr. Kang, she said something offensively along the lines of me not being able to afford it. I actually was ready to walk out until Dr. Kang convinced me the regular fillings would indeed be OK. I went through and got two fillings done regularly. After the work, Dr. Kang laughed and said, "I didn't get close enough to the tooth, you should have gotten the porcelain filling." I went to the front desk, paid, and asked for my X-rays to be emailed to me because I was never going back. Dr. Kang had said that I needed three more cavities filled and I wanted to get a second opinion. I went to another dentist yesterday - had additional X-rays taken and I was told that my teeth looked great. I, personally, will never be back here. Since the dentist didn't "get close enough" to my tooth with the filling, I now make sure I floss at least once a day so food doesn't get stuck. I guess that's the only positive from my experience. read more

Worst dentist I've ever been to. The worst. Ever. I've been to many dentists in my life, in many cities across the US. I gave this place 3 tries and Ebenezer struck out every single time. The first hygienist I had kept jumping around from tooth to tooth in her cleaning. First she'd clean one tooth in the lower front, then all the sudden she's in the upper corner of my mouth! WTF! It put me on edge to say the least, never knowing where she and her sharp instruments would be next. The second time, I was shown into the examination room immediately - but then had to wait 25 minutes for anyone to show up. TWENTY FIVE. In such a busy city, at an appointment in the middle of the work day and work week, that is unacceptable. Meanwhile, all 2-3 other examination rooms were empty, save for I think one. They need more staff. Their office can accommodate it, but clearly they don't have enough business - I wonder why. The next time, Dr. Kang did my cleaning. But I didn't know that, because she failed to introduce herself. She sauntered right into the room, sat down, and proceeded to stick her hands in my mouth. Without a word. And instead of lightly touching each tooth, getting to know the state of my mouth and teeth, she just went straight for it, scrubbing as hard as she could. She scraped so hard that it was impossible to be careful of where the tool went. My gums were bleeding out of control - and I rarely bleed during cleanings. She seemed to think my teeth were floating in mid air, no gums or person attached. She kept nicking my gums with her instruments, poking them instead of my teeth. She would scrape and then finish the stroke by scraping right into my gum - I thought she was going to tear them. It was the most aggressive cleaning I've ever had. I told her this, and she said she'd be more gentle. Two minutes later, she went to put her instrument back in my mouth, missed, and nicked my mouth. It bled. After that third appointment, I immediately asked for my X-rays back to bring to a new dentist. They emailed them to me, without asking why I was leaving, or how they could better their practice. I thanked them for the X-rays, saying I was disappointment in the level of care I received. No follow up from them. They simply do not care. I don't know if something's wrong with her eyes, but Dr. Kang definitely has a sensitivity problem. She's a robot, and assumes everyone else is too. 3.5 stars.. Of the hundreds of dentists available with my Delta Dental plan, Ebenezer Dental was the only one with great reviews so the choice to make them my dentist was an easy one. At first I was nervous to come here for a few superficial reasons. First, they're named Ebenezer, like the grumpy old guy in the Christmas Carol. Why would I want a Scrooge association with my dentist? Secondly, they're in a building right above Ebenezer Eyelash and threading. That certainly seems strange as I want my dentist of choice not to be part of the same business doing eyebrows. That's like getting a tattoo from a head shop only way worse. Lastly, the dentist here, Karen Kang, and the fact that they are on the border of Koreatown made me wonder if I would stick out and feel uncomfortable or if communication would be an issue. None of these really turned out to be an issue though my first two concerns are certainly still questionable. The dentist office is located on the 4th floor. There is virtually no lobby of the building and the elevator opens right into the waiting area. The office is very clean and modern and the receptionist was very nice. The first time I was here a white eastern European dentist did my cleaning. She was very nice and gentle. The cleaning was very quick (maybe too quick?) though I certainly appreciated it. I'm not sure on the capabilities of the water pick but it seemed strange that flossing wasn't part of the cleaning procedure, that could be common though. Unfortunately during the cleaning she found a cavity (turned out to be $95 to fill) so I had to come back to have that dealt with. Co-pay was only $5 but this may have been more a doing of my insurance than the dentist, not sure how that stuff works. The second time I came I had Kang herself. She was very nice but didn't introduce herself so I didn't realize it was her until I asked later on. Thankfully the cavity was on the top of a tooth and shallow enough that no painkillers were needed. The job was done in the matter of minutes though the appointment had taken awhile because she was tied up elsewhere for awhile. The actual patient rooms are very basic, nothing particularly negative or positive to say about them. As I was walking back home I realized she hadn't told me if I was allowed to eat right away or not so I think communication overall could have been improved a bit but that wasn't a huge issue. All in all Ebenezer Dental is a solid yet fairly basic/average dentist to go with. There really isn't anything to complain or praise them over. Lets begin with a breakdown of what I look for when I go see a dentist. Customer Service: The team members at Ebenezer's are pretty young. However everyone here is polite, patient, and very helpful. They did everything they could to make me comfortable! The office in general is very clean, comfortable seats, and there's a small station for water and coffee. Procedure: The way the doctors worked was very methodical and meticulous. They make sure to xray every little nook and cranny. Once done they give you a breakdown of where's fine and what needs to be fixed. After explaining they give you time to ask questions and explain whatever procedure they need to take to fix your teeth. In my case I needed a root canal. If the procedure costs more they WILL let you know and actually have the manager come in, sit down with you, and break down the cost for everything. Tells you what your insurance will cover and what it won't and calculates everything. They make sure that you, the patient, know what's going on and how much what is. It was great knowing that they weren't trying to cheat me out of my money and gave me different options. My first visit I only got my teeth cleaned and let me say this... THIS WAS THE FIRST TIME THAT A CLEANING DID NOT HURT. It wasn't even mildly uncomfortable. Afterwards my teeth felt like new. (obviously) Now this time it was my second visit and I had my root canal surgery. Prior to the surgery I looked online to research how long it takes to recover. And well... I ended up reading pages of 'root canal horror stories'. How it hurt like crazy, can't eat, etc etc. And well now... I think those people need to go find a good dentist or a specialist. Cause during my surgery? It didn't hurt one bit. The only thing I felt was pressure from the drill. PRESSURE; not pain, no discomfort, just pressure. I actually ended up falling asleep while Dr. Kang was working on me and I think I caught myself snoring.... BUT YEAH. She was very careful and took a bunch of xrays during the procedure to make sure everything was okay. It took about... 1hour and 40 minutes to 2 hours? It took some time but hey, I'd rather her take her time then her mess up my teeth. The swelling is going down and as of now, 3 hours later, my mouth is feeling fine. It feels a bit weird but I don't feel pain. I guess this is the major difference between a great dentist and a subpar one. If you live in the NYC area and are VERY unsure of who to go to? By far the best dental services I have witnessed. I live in South Florida and fly to NY just to have my mother treated for her implants and bridges. I have already flown here three times and will fly here with her two more times. Dr. Kang is just that worth it. If my five star rating isn't enough, I've booked 5 plane tickets (same day trips) to and fro South Florida. Ebenezer has state-of-the-art equipment and CNC their own implants and parts to ensure timely delivery and procedures. The receptionist Kevin and manager is very kind and professional, they will work with you and do their absolute best with all they can to make sure you have a pleasant procedure. Ebenezer Dental is OK. I was nervous because I hadn't been to the dentist in a few years and was scared to see what I was in for. Dr. Kang told me I needed 6 crowns. 6! As an afterthought, she said she could just fill them, but was insisting on giving me crowns. I knew instantly that they were trying to make a lot of money off of me. After thinking it through and speaking with my old dentist, I stood my ground and told her I only wanted the fillings. She worked very quickly, and was light handed with the novocain injections (which is nice). The hygienist also did 2 of my fillings. She was great as well. While the first visit didn't go all that well, my followups and fillings went just fine. She was nice and fast. I guess only time will tell how these fillings hold up! read more

This Dental office was referred by a work college a few year ago, and I cant thank her enough! They tackle all with great professionalism ( Kevin amazing follow thru and warm welcome), to Mr Kang the office manager ( provides detailed information on your coverage and out of pocket expenses ) , the dental associate Mr Fernandez is so patient and of course Dr Kang!! This was my first visit to Ebenezer Dental and I was a bit nervous about switching to a new dentist. But, Dr. Kang and her staff are amazing! They were extremely thorough and explained exactly what my dental plan did and did not include - this is something that is not always made clear when dealing with medical/ dental professionals, but Dr. Kang and her team made it very straightforward and easy to understand. Dr. Kang herself was extremely friendly, very bubbly, and seemed very knowledgeable. I was having a pretty bad morning and meeting her literally made me smile. She radiates positivity and just seems like an overall great person and professional. The cleaning itself was thorough and quick, pretty standard overall. Additionally, wait time was pretty short - I waited maybe 5 minutes or less to go in for my cleaning. Her staff members were super friendly, both upon arrival and when I was leaving. This place is GREAT! They provided me stellar service and the staff was very friendly and professional. I appreciated the tutorial on how to properly brush my teeth and floss. Especially since I ended up having a bunch of cavities. They have the latest technology and the office is very nice and clean. Also they brought in a dish that I could put my purse on so that it was not on the floor. Very professional. Only criticism was that I felt they were a little aggressive with their up-selling. Went in for the first time for a regular teeth cleaning in late June. Facility is pretty clean which is nice. But 3 main things that upset me though about this place that make me not want to return and definitely won't be recommending any of my friends new to the city to come. 1) Their office did not check my insurance carefully before I had my appointment. They asked when my last cleaning was, I said around January or December I couldn't remember clearly but to please let me know if it should be covered by my insurance or not. They said it would be covered. A few days after my appointment was over, their office called me back saying it wasn't covered because I did my last cleaning in late January and that was still within the 6 month mark so I had to pay in full out of pocket... I paid for it, understanding that's the technicality of insurance, but it seriously turned me off that their office didn't bother to properly check my insurance BEFORE the appointment. Isn't that part of what doctor offices are supposed to check for? 2) This was the most painful teeth cleaning I've had in my life. And I guess it was extremely painful because the hygienist wasn't careful and literally scraped a tiny piece of my gum off. A few days after the cleaning, I felt like my gums in one quadrant felt extremely sensitive/slightly painful when I brush my teeth. I thought it would pass, but it was still extremely sensitive for over 4 weeks (and even now!). I went to a different dentist to check on it and they said it was swelling a bit and that it looked like my gum line got nicked/scraped. My gum line on my canine tooth is now slightly higher than before because the hygienist at Ebenezer scratched into it... 3) This isn't that huge of a deal normally, but just added to the overall bad experience I had here. The assistant had a lot of trouble putting the plastic pieces in my mouth to get the x-rays. She would always stick the plastic way too far back in my mouth, activating my gag reflex every time. Something that normally takes other dental offices less than 5 minutes to do (and which I've never had gagging issues before at other dentists) ended up being a 10-15 minute process because she couldn't place the pieces properly in my mouth without making me feel like gagging. 4) MOST IMPORTANTLY: I get the feeling that this office is really pushy about trying to get you to do unnecessary services or procedures. They will over recommend you for things you don't really have to do. They said I had 4 cavities that needed to be done/redone and that they seriously recommend I do a deep teeth cleaning with them since they said I had some periodontal issues. I was extremely shocked, as never in my life had I need to get so many done at once nor has anyone mentioned I had periodontal disease before. 6 months prior to this I was at a different dentist and they said I only had to re-do one cavity. I didn't do it at the other place at the time, and was hoping to do it at Ebenzer through a second appt after the cleaning. But when Ebenezer quoted I had to redo 4 cavities in my first appt, I had second thoughts about them. So I went to a different dentist to get a second opinion, and they confirmed that I only needed to redo one filling, not 4, and that it was not necessary for me to do a deep cleaning unless I wanted to myself. After the hygienist nicked my gums a little, I definitely don't trust this place to provide a good deep cleaning experience... and the fact they tried to convince me I had 4 cavities didn't make me trust them much more. It seriously gives a sense that you can not trust whatever the people at this dental office recommend you, as they are more looking to get money out of you rather than making suggestions on what you truly need. Overall not at all impressed with the services or skill level here and most likely will not return even though it is in a convenient location for me. read more

I yelped and Zoc doc-ed for a new dentist in New York and decided on Dr. Kang after reading a bunch of reviews. The building is a little sketchy and the elevator is really slow, but once you get to the office, it's fine. Everything is very very clean and receptionist is super nice. My hygienist was meticulous. I hadn't had a check-up for 1.5 years so she warned me that it might be a little painful on my gums, but really, it wasn't bad at all. My teeth now look and feel extremely clean though, I can feel all the edges of my teeth! I was kind of worried though because the hygienist took ~15 x-rays initially and I didn't remember having that many x-rays taken before in one visit. But I searched online back home and a full series of x-rays for a first timer is anywhere between 14-21 films. Anyway, after the cleaning, Dr. Kang came in to look at my teeth and the x-rays. She then recommended a few procedures (filling in chipped tooth and teeth whitening). She answered a few questions I had, but before I got to ask my other ones, she said she'll get the manager to explain to me what's covered through my insurance plan (which was the last question I asked), and hurried off somewhere. Hence the 4 star instead of 5. The manager (who seems to be the husband of Dr. Kang) was really approachable and explained all the procedures and costs. I'll be going back in a few weeks to get my chipped tooth filled in! Oh, and the best part is, that I got a goodie bag with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss, and a pen!! I was referred to Dr. Kang because they have the technology to mill a crown and veneers in minutes, eliminating the need to wait weeks with temporaries. When I came in for a consultation, my impressions were that the office was clean, the staff were helpful and skilled, and Dr. Kang would be careful and thorough. I was able to get an appointment for the two veneers and one crown the following week, which was great. I needed a crown to cover up a discolored front upper tooth that had been turned yellow-gray from a root canal I had done when I was a child. The darkness of the dentin we would have to cover and the location of the tooth made matching this tooth to the rest of my teeth in color and translucence a real challenge. Dr. Kang was a true perfectionist of her craft, and meticulously evaluated the choices she made, the design of the tooth and cement color, resulting in a crown that perfectly fits in with my other teeth. She is really wonderful. The appointment was scheduled to be 3 hours total for the whole procedure, including x-rays and digital photos, but it took 4 hours to make sure everything was perfect. I was impressed that nobody seemed rushed when we took longer. I have heard of people feeling rushed by dentists at other businesses. Dr. Kang made sure I was comfortable and happy with the results. I would give Ebenezer Dental the highest recommendation possible. Truly a gem of a place for dental work in NYC! read more

Misleading on procedures. I was told I had another six cavities to fix. I went to another dentist - it looked I only had one cavity NOT six. I did initially two cavities here - the worst experience ever. The girl didn't properly clean my root canal and put the crown on. I'm still in pain and need to get that fix as well. Finally after years of subpar dentists, I finally found a good one. Dr. Kang is very professional and knows what she was doing. Although, the wait time was a little long, the experience itself ( 2 extractions) was quick and well performed. Dr. Kang explained things clearly to me and has a good bedside manner. The office on 7th avenue is a little hard to find, but once you get upstairs, it is very clean, modern & the staff is very welcoming and professional. I usually put off going to the dentist due to all the terrible dentists in Manhattan, but Dr. Kang has restored my faith. I will be returning soon for follow up work. read more
