It's that wordlessly wonderful. Mel owns the place, but she is a welcoming supportive participant. She has fantastic teachers who are diverse in personality and your practice varies to match. You know it's a great place when you get to lay in child's pose half the time and not feel weird or inadequate. Everyone supports each other and there are always a good number of men mixed in, which tells me they are comfortable there too! And the grounds are just lovely. The studio space is clean and bright and feels like it's floating in the surrounding trees. Her co owner and husband, Walter was my Instructor for the TRX Team Class and he made me feel right at home as did their friendly members. I have taken many TRX classes in the past and I can say without hesitation that Walter is one of the best! His teaching style is engaging, challenging and encouraging. He coached us to each work at our own level, taking into account our differences and at the same time gave us plenty of options to make each exercise as intense as we wanted. Although it was a group class, Walter customized the workout making it feel personally suited to each of us. The facility is impeccably clean and organized. The decor was bright and welcoming. They have a variety of equipment and ample space to move around as well as super clean bathrooms and showers.
