Took her time showing me all the colors and tried to pleased me with the shape and length of the nails. The salon, however, could do with some water for the customers and a little couch for the people waiting. I did not like the amount of spam you get when booking online. Got various emails and texts to remind me about the appointment and then, numerous follow-up emails and texts to leave reviews, answer surveys and book again.

Salon was nice and hairdresser paid attention to how I wanted my hair to look and kept checking if length off was okay with me. Haircut was very good for someone that's never cut my hair before. Decorated in muted greys and purples with a few added sparkles here and there. Staff are fabulous. So welcoming and chatty. There is a very relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Delighted with my pedicure treatment. They did a thorough job. My feet are now summer ready! Lots of great offers too. This week €10 spray tan. What a steal! Keep an eye on their website.

The lady seemed concerned and apologized I said not to worry. However I noticed something strange the lady didnt push my cuticles nor prep them. But with manis you dont always do that. So i didnt think too much.The mani didnt last a day before lifting and chips. Second time I went for extensions it was going to be acrylic with tips. Again staff were lovely. Unfortunately they didnt have much of a choice for colour. The lady again cut my cuticle with the file and opened it up with bleeding. Again she was very apologetic and i told her no big deal (which it isnt) but again they didnt push my cuticles which you are definitely supposed to for an extension. She finished the job and to be honest my nails didnt look great a little chunky and for me she placed the tip too far down but i thought she knows what she is doing. However when i felt them on they felt very weird and almost tight and painful. Not even when i was touching anything. But this feeling became more painful and not just when touching anything .. i thought perhaps the tips had been the wrong size or something and anytime i did anything with my hands it was painful..i have had acrylics before and i know its not meant to feel that way .. I went back in and asked them to remove them .. they were lovely and did so for free which i thought was very sweet. They didnt make me feel bad at all. For attitude I give them 11/10 very friendly .. for skill .. maybe 4 they should have removed my cuticles and not made them bleed and also placed the tips better Whatever about making my cuticle bleed each time that can happen to anyone but the reason that happened is because they didnt push them and remove them at all. The reason they didnt probably is because its time consuming. Or they dont know how. They are lovely people but I wouldnt rate their skill.

It's located right in Stepaside Village and is really easy to find, with free parking available in The Step Inn car park. The salon specialises in sculptured nails and with 5 manicure stations, 3 pedicure stations, it is perfect for a girly get together. I particularly love the Thai manicure which included a scrub, hand mask in heated mitts finished with a colour polish of your choice. Fab!
