it's the worse salon Iv ever been to. don't waste your time and money. I did give the salon a number of chances as I felt that would be fair, unfortunately the standard isn't great and the staff are not very friendly. Terrible experience. Never left a nail appointment so disappointed. Didn't let the removal process do it's thing but then charged me extra for the weak nails I've ended up with. Just let the acetone do it's job! I'm happy to pay more when needed, but not because you are rushing. Few days later my weak nails chipped, today it's all gone (one week in). Nails are weak, sore and now over Christmas, polish-less. Never again. read more

Attended the salon when pregnant and rebooked after having baby. Was very surprised when I turned up with my 2 month old sleeping baby to be told that I couldn't come in for my appt with my child. Supposedly it states it on their website that children aren't allowed but not in the section of website where you book. Was told that I will be charged for the appt regardless!!?? Am disgusted with the treatment and will not be back. Discrimination at its best! read more

I booked a mudpie pedicure with shellac removal and reapplication telling the lady booking I was pregnant .. when I arrived the lady checking me in said because I was pregnant I couldnt have the mudpie treatment but that they would do a pregnancy 'pedicure' instead this entailed a foot soak in cold water.. a file on toe nails a 10 second oily scrub application a rinse off and a 10 second oil application - cuticles werent even done.. lady that looked after me was nice shellac was fine.. upon checking out I still paid €90 for a glorified file and Shellac - I did mention on the way out it wasn't a pedicure as no dry skin treatment etc and I was told oh that's our insurance we can't use certain things in pregnant people - i normally have a pedicure elsewhere every month but as i was in dundrum for the day decided to try it out- never had this issue before always had dry skin treatment anyway I'd save your money or go elsewhere if pregnant definitely not worth €90. read more

Would not recommend this place at all. I got several treatments done before the start of summer and they were all complete disasters. I have gotten my bikini line done several times before at other beautitians but i have never had it done with a normal waxing strip before, my bikini line was bruised for weeks. Also mid way through getting it done a random man walked into the room?? I also got my eyebrows threaded, the lady doing it really couldn't have given less of a shit about the shape and even managed to cut me just above my eye. I got my nails done as well they were pretty smudged but it was the only treatment i got were i didn't receive any injuries so all things considered not bad read more

I normally go to another Salon in the area but I have to say I am so glad I went here. Its just a lovely chilled salon. I had been given a voucher as a pressie. I booked in for a pedicure and it was AMAZING! instead of those clinical chairs I was so comfy in a proper armchair. An added bonus was the fact I was asked if id like tea or coffee and it came with a nice biscuit on the side. ( i have never had this before in a salon ) even though the therapists were clearly busy i never felt rushed even when i was finished i could take my time and finish my magazine. I felt the girls were there to help you enjoy your experience as opposed to hurrying you out the door like a conveyor belt you get in other salons when they are busy! Really enjoyed my afternoon in Mudpie and so did my pampered toes! read more

Mi would avoid this place as much as possible. They never answer the phones and then charge you for not making a booking even though you called to cancel. The 'manager' Sara is the worst. Please use Edward and pink, ebano nutgrove or Diana's nails above shockwaves. Far more professional and more competitive prices read more

I saw mudpie had a very good shellac offer on Boardsdeals.com I should of known it was too good to be true. The offer seemed great €25 for shellac on the fingers and toes. I arrived on time for a 2 o'clock appointment. Greeted by a lovely girl on reception who made me a tea and gave me some out of date magazines to read. Firstly the salon itself IS nice, it was clean and spacious, cute girly decor. I was informed the girl doing my treatments "is just finishing off her last lady and wont be a sec". So I waited...10 mins later a flustered girl introduced herself to me and showed me to the manicure table. This has to be the worst nail station I have ever sat at. The chairs are too high and very uncomfortable. The girl spent a further 5 minutes fixing the nail table and getting products. I should have left then because then she began examining and criticising my nails "you have very dry cuticles are you using an oil?" she asked. Now I'm no expert but I am a Mink Nails Regular and I use hand cream and cuticle oil daily...my cuticles are NOT dry. She then roughly filed my nails down and began chatting to me. Her choice of conversation was centered totally around herself and how she was trying to lose weight-very innappropriate in my opinion. During my treatment another staff came and set up an area next to me for her client. My therapist then began ignoring me and talking to my neighbouring client. I got a french polish which was lumpy looking and the white tips were too thick-after i asked her to correct them, they were no different so I settled. Then she moved me to another room to do my toes-another lovely room in the salon. She now seemed to be rushing-trying to make up time. Again, nothing was ready or organized. She literally slapped on the shellac polish. At one point I accidently knocked my toe off the lamp and she had the audacity to say to me "look what you've done". At the end of my treatment she left me to put on my shoes and see myself to the desk because her "next client was waiting". I've never met a ruder beautician in my years. To top ot all off my shellac on my hands chipped after a day and began peeling after a week. I will never go back read more
