We had mixed experiences with our 48" fridge and freezer repair. Our initial issue was related to…read morethe freezer not cooling and making a very loud noise when running. This took 3 visits to resolve with the first being a bit of a misdiagnosis. After that- that issue was resolved fairly easily. The second request was for fridge and freezer gasket replacement. This was (and still is) a complete disaster. The gasket has been changed, installed a second time, reordered, and reinstalled- without the issue being rectified. A heat gun was used by the tech at the initial installation to help the gasket expand. This damaged the inside of the door and the freezer compartment still isn't as it should be in terms of the gasket forming a proper seal. We were essentially told the issue with the seal had to do with "internal insulation degradation" and that there is nothing more to be done. We are left with the option to use paper towels to expand the gasket so it reaches the body of the freezer- still with no actual seal. No attempt to compensate for the time, effort, and lack of ability to fix the issue on the part of the company. The tech we dealt with is very professional, personable, and helpful, but the lack of the company's accountability for the job not being completed to a satisfactory level leaves me not so happy to recommend this company to anyone- particularly since the simpler of the 2 jobs we requested was the one that has still not been resolved. The cost of the services was also excessive given the number of times we had to have them out and the fact that it is still not repaired properly.

It's worth calling them before replacing an appliance. They will tell you if they can repair it for less than replacing. For our three appliances, we spent under 1,000 dollars versus over 3,500 dollars to replace.

Absolutely Terrible Experience - Stay Away from Appliance Canada…read more I spent close to $27,000 on appliances with Appliance Canada, and this has been one of the worst purchasing experiences I have ever had. This is how they delivered my $5,000 stove and my $12,000 fridge: The stove arrived in a completely destroyed box, taped all around, looking like it had been opened, mishandled, or even used. The fridge arrived with a visible defect straight out of the packaging. The delivery was partial, delayed, and absolutely unacceptable for a company selling "premium" appliances. For a purchase of this size, the level of care and professionalism is shocking -- or better said, completely missing. There is no quality control, no accountability, and zero sense of responsibility. Please do yourself a favour and stay away from Appliance Canada. I wish someone had warned me before I spent this kind of money.

Do not buy anything from Appliance Canada. They deliver damaged products. Customer service…read more(Vincent) is atrocious from Appliance Canada as well as Jenair to resolve anything. I spent hundreds of thousands on appliance with Appliance Canada (Steve Miller) over the past 20 years and they leave you high and dry to deal with the manufacturer on your own when the store sells and delivers you the damage products. Brand new appliances that dont work and are damaged. Freezer missing a wheel, freezer door baskets peeling off paint. Fridge door has screws poking out. Oven door forgot to install a hinge so when shipping tape came off the door slammed into my floor and dented the wood. Wall oven had a broken light sensor so the light was continuously on. I purchased 4 Jenair appliances and every single one was defective.
