Just tired of the poor punctuality. I get it your busy. But to have to wait 30 mins past your appointment than another 20+ minutes in the room for the doctor. It's just ridiculous. I can't forget, the staff is VERY RUDE. The doctors are nice but until they figure out a way to improve their turn around times it's not worth it to come here. My kids are starting to hate doctor's visit. This should be so dreadful for a 3-5 year old. read more

Gave my son several vaccines while having an active ear infection when my spouse took him in. I then called to question this somewhat dangerous practice and their staff was so insanely rude and kept cutting me off. They blamed my spouse for agreeing to it when the doctor, who theoretically has more professional training, shouldn't have offered it in the first place. As long as your nod and agree like a good little drone, they are nice. Ask questions and they will make you feel like the worst parent for not agreeing with them unquestioningly. Not to mention the nurses who have administered the shots are so undertrained. read more

Was not very impressed with this office for my sons pediatrician. I chose this office after hearing in the past positive things about De la Cruz. I'm not sure if over time they have just gotten too busy to keep up with their clients but I always felt rushed when I went in to see the dr. This pertains to the younger one I think Rudy? Being a first time mom, you may tend to have lots of questions and want to feel like your questions are being answered and not brushed off. Well this is how I felt each time I went to see him, when it pertained to my sons digestion problems as infant and when he started experiencing signs of what I thought to be eczema. He always brushed off as though no not big deal it will go away. Which sure some things do just go away but I certainly don't want to feel rushed when I'm asking questions while I just waited 40 minutes in the waiting room. I have recently switched doctors and am very happy I did. read more

Excellent service. Dr Manuel Delacruz and the late Dr Rudy Delacruz have been taking care of my two kids for over 13 yrs. Great staff, very professional and clean offices. read more

I am new to the area. This place is terrible. I asked before I came what I would need. They didn't mention anything. So I came without an immunization record... my kid can't be seen. The receptionist said my child can't be seen without the record... I now have to leave... so I wasted a day coming here and when I asked if I could at least have a doctors note she said no. So now my child's perfect attendence is ruined. This won't be my child's new pediatrician. Not with this receptionist. She kept saying "well I don't know who you spoke to" like it matters lady... Why wouldn't you tell me that before I came? The staff is rude. read more

I am so frustrated with this place! I quit taking my children here OVER 1 1/2 YEARS AGO because they kept prescribing one of my children antibiotics. Numerous times I asked if there was a way to prevent her from having recurring lung infections, and they told me no. So I went somewhere else, and behold! There is a way, and my daughter hasn't had one since we left the De La Cruz brothers. Well, last week I receive a bill from them saying I'm 120 days past due and had a balance on my account. This was the ONLY notification I received from them! When I called them, they said that they've been sending me monthly statements since we left their office. They said they were sending them to my home address, when the one bill I just received was sent to my mom's address, and this was the first one she ever saw as well. The woman on the phone was less than helpful and boarder line rude. How would I miss over 18 months worth of statements? Not only do they not care to explore other options for their patients, they also have serious issues in their billing office. If you do decide to go there, make sure you see Dr. Manuel De La Cruz. He is much more child friendly. But that is about the only positive things I can say. read more

Both Dela Cruz mds are very nice . Feels like there part of the family when they see your child. The place is very clean and professional. Hardly ever have to wait for my son to be checked in. Best pediatric place in tracy. read more

don't waste your time bringing your child here. doctor made weird comments to my son asking if he had a girl friend or like any girls at school. read more

Please BEWARE of faulty billing!! I have been bringing my kids here since they were born and I always get bills and pay them without looking at it in depth. However, I recently learned billing and coding and they over bill the insurance as long as it's "billable" to the insurance. My son was seen for a well visit check up and during hat visit the Doctor found an ear infection. So, because he diagnosed something he charged my insurance twice in the same day. One for the well visit and one as an office visit which the insurance did not cover because they will not pay for 2 visits in one day so now I am stuck with the copay. Who does that? Obviously this office just to gain more profit. They don't care about the well being of your child just how many codes they can bill out that are "billable". Find an a good pediatric office that cares for your children. Also, wait times are outrageous long and they don't care and never apologize. Very disappointed!! read more

Horrible... it was our first time here today for our 3 year old sons wellness checkup... our appointment was at 11.. we didn't get called in until 11:40, once we got into the actual room we waited for the dr for another 25-30 min.. I mean my husband fell asleep (that's how long we were waiting) not to mention you'd think it being our first time they'd ask us which DR we wanted.. nope... we got Dr Dela Cruz and just like some other reviews, he was very rushed.. came in and just wanted to get it done. Didn't speak with us. Then my son needed the flu shot so the nurse comes in and she is also in such a rush she didn't even let my son calm down before the poked him... she didn't even put the bandaid on all the way I had to do it myself.. the reviews aren't lying when they say you spend 2 hours here.. we got there at 10:50 and didn't leave till 12:45, to me that is just ridiculous!! This was our first and last time here!! read more

Front desk employees are rude and liars. When you make appointment they will say they will give you courtesy call but they don't leave messages. How is that a reminder? They said mailbox is full. Funny, my mailbox is empty! They are lazy! All they do is sit down and gossip. Not worth going. Doctors are ok. Not great. My advice to you....Go somewhere else! read more

Dr. De La Cruz is great! Every time my fiancé and I bring my daughter in, I know we're in great hands. We can call and have our baby seen the same day which I love! Story time: I didn't have a set doctor when I first switched her insurance and of course she gets sick. I spent all night up with my poor baby and wasn't able to take her to day care the next day because of her fever. I took her to her old doctor and wasn't able to been seen (different insurance). Went to a second Doctor and they were closed for a meeting! 3rd Doctor had no appointments available and wasn't accepting new patients! At this point I'm on the verge of crying and feeling defeated. I just wanted someone to help my poor baby without me having to pay for Emergency room costs. Finally Dr De La Cruz came across my path and was able to see my baby immediately! He diagnosed her and gave us an antibiotic prescription. I'm glad I found her a good reliable Doctor. read more

I'm visiting family in Tracy and my son got sick so I called around and this was the pediatrician that was closest to where I was and that would see my son the soonest. The office itself is fine. It feels a little dated, but it's well kept. The waiting room was full when I arrived and also when I left. My problem is with the staff, Dr. De La Cruz specifically. As soon as he walked into the room, he was rushing me to sit down in the chair with my son so that he could examine him. Everything about his demeanor was cold and rushed. Most doctors knock on the door before entering the room - not this one. I held my 5 month old son in my lap while Dr. De La Cruz looked into his nose, ears, and mouth. When he looked into my son's mouth, he instructed me to hold his head still and I could feel the amount pressure he was using to open my son's mouth. My son wasn't crying or being fussy with him but honestly he handled my son like he hates children. I was there because my son was having a hard time breathing and he listened to his breath sounds over all of his clothing, including a pretty thick jacket while I bounced him up and down on my knees. He kept the stethoscope on him for all of a second before moving it to the next spot. He wrote a prescription for my son and then asked when my son had his last shots and if I had scheduled an appointment for his next series of shots. He then proceeded to ask me if my family that I'm staying with had children that needed a doctor! I found this to be so unprofessional. He really asked me to recommend him to my family after he rushed through and didn't even do a halfway decent job examining my son. I couldn't believe it. I even asked him questions about the medicine he prescribed and he answered them from the doorway as he walked out of the room. I will be taking my son to another doctor to get a second opinion because Dr. De La Cruz did nothing to ease my mind as a parent and in my opinion just wrote a prescription to get me out of the room so that he could see his next patient. Absolutely the WORST doctor that I have ever been to. read more

Dr. Rodrigo De La Cruz as been our pediatrician since day one. He has really fought for the health of my son. He suggests his ideas and allows me to make the final choice, which as the mother I appreciate. He listens to my concerns without belittling the situation, and in turn he treats my son as if it were his own. He seems extremely knowledgable and on top of his game. Anytime I have had an issue with my son, we are able to get same day appointments, which makes life so much easier when something is wrong with your child. Overall, I am extremely pleased that Dr. De La Cruz is on my team for the health of my son. read more

THIS IS WHY OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM IS BROKEN!!! I liked this place until today. Got a bill from insurance stating that Eaton pediatrics billed me a total of $160 for an outpatient surgery for my 9 month old DURING his well baby check up. Turns out it was for Dr Rodrigo using a Q-tip to clean out my son's ears before he looked in them. That's right, that's $60 for "surgery" and another $80 for an office visit on top of the 100% covered well baby visit. Never got a hold of the billing person today, and I've been seething about it. Doctors like this billing unsolicited, non-treatment as medical treatments to game the system for a few extra dollars! This is total BS, it's downright UNAMERICAN!! My insurance paid out an extra $35 and I got stuck for $117 for 10 seconds of ear cleaning with cotton swabs claimed as an outpatient procedure! DO NOT GO TO THEM if you don't want to be scammed! read more

I am at a loss for words with this place. We have been living in Tracy for almost 2yrs now. Anytime I have come here it has been nothing positive. The girls at the front desk are always rude, they are always overbooked, we are usually in there for over an hour, and out of that time we are usually waiting to be seen. I have been trying to get a referral from them for months and I never get anywhere with them. They kept telling me that our previous pediatrician has not faxed over my sons records to them. At this point I am beyond frustrated, I go out to pleasanton to get my sons records, then come here and physically hand the papers to the front desk. She then tells me that they received the papers 2 weeks ago! I tell her that's news to me since the person I talked to on the phone earlier said they were never received. She then tells me my son has to come in for another exam because the previous dr who saw him was no longer there. I take my son in for an exam and when the dr comes in, he seems confused and starts to say he doesn't have my sons records. At this point I am ready to explode, I tell him he needs to look again because I was told the papers were received. He finally finds the papers and says they will call me. It has been a week, and still no phone call! I call today and I am told that they are still waiting for approval from our insurance company, and it takes up to 5-7 business days, and then the specialist will call me. Funny no one ever told me this last week they just said they will call. The dr never seems to have any time he always seems rushed. I try to ask him questions while I am in there and he keeps his back to me and barely answers my questions. He will even leave the room in the middle of a question to take phone calls. When I took my 5 year old for his kindergarten physical the dr assistant was so rude and impatient. She was getting so frustrated with my son because he was having trouble seeing the letters for the eye exam, then she was getting frustrated because he would slightly move while taking his blood pressure. I definitely will not be coming back here again. read more

For starters the Doctors are nice people so my review is not a reflection of whether they are nice or not. We started going to them because they are walking distance to our home, and there was a time where with only one car we had to be close to the doctor. The reason for our 1 star rating is this: Every time you schedule an appt you will wait an hour or longer to be seen. No matter what day or time, or request to be seen by a certain time no matter what you have to wait. There is no well side and sick side, so if you are there for a well visit, you are sitting in a packed waiting room with kids coughing and sneezing all over each other. Then I feel like they try and do the bare minimum every time. Every time we went we seemed to be prescribed antibiotics or cough medicine. Everything else we have had to ask them to prescribe for our kids. Then on top of it, this last time our son has had a bad cough and congestion, first it was antibiotics, then when that wasn't helping and we asked if they could write a prescription for an inhaler we had to make another appt, wait another hour to see the doc again and pay another copay, now that he needs a nebulizer we need to see the doctor again and pay another copay just so they can write the prescription. But again just so we can get a prescription we have to make another appt and sit and wait for another hour plus to be seen for 5 minutes, to tell the doctor what he should be prescribing our child. We are not the doctors and it has been frustrating when our friends doctors are very pro-active and very thorough without the wait. read more

I've been taking all three of my kids here for about 9 years. I've also been taking two of my kids since they were born here. Both Drs are amazing and I love that when my kids are sick I am seen same day. That really says a lot. I can call at 9 am and be seen by lunch so my kids aren't suffering too long. There are some wait times but nothing too crazy. read more

I love that your sick child can be seen the same day of your call and that wellness appointments are given withing a couple of days of you call ( AMAZING!) Doctors are nice, friendly, and attentive. The only reason this place does not get 5 stars is because the doctors seem to want to give my children antibiotics every time they are sick even is there is no obvious infection. As a parent that knows somewhat about the consequences of taking antibiotics when they are not needed, it scares me a little to see the doctor prescribe meds that my child might not even need. But That's when my own judgment kicks in and if the doctor says he does not see an infection, but is going to prescribe antibiotics anyway I simply don't give my child the prescribed meds. read more
