Eatme doesn't stand out from the other healthy fast food joints on rue Washington. It's clean and contemporary, with a variety of salads, other fresh meals, and a hefty selection of drinks.
I had the sundried tomato tabbouleh salad and the butternut squash-cream-lardon pasta, which was graciously heated up behind the counter before consumption. It was difficult to choose a hot option because, in addition to two soups, there were only two creamy pastas and one salmon dish (far fewer hot meal options than, say, Cojean or Prét à Manger). The blackboard behind the cash register also claimed that they served quiche, but I didn't see those.
The price isn't bad for the area, and the service was very speedy indeed. No need to bus your tray at the end, but as there was only one employee working when we went, the tables didn't clear quickly.
Not sure if I'd return. Maybe if Come, the salad bar across the street, had a large queue. read more
