We visited Sydney on our honeymoon, and while we saw most sights during the day time, we absolutely…read moreloved visiting the Night Noodle Market! It had been a rainy afternoon when we stepped into a sushi train restaurant to escape the downpour. Once we ate our sushi and were ready to leave, it had gotten completely dark out and was fully night time (we were eating sushi for a while LOL). While this would have normally been an annoyance (finding our way back to our hotel in the dark), it turned into one of the most amazing experiences we had in Sydney! There was a giant parade going on with colorful dragon figures marching around, lots of liveley music playing, a bustling atmosphere, and best of all - tons of vendors serving noodles, kebabs, bao buns, and so much more! Even though we had just eaten an enormous amount of sushi, you better believe we partook in all of the amazing fare. If you ever have a chance to attend one of the Night Noodle Markets, definitely do not pass up the opportunity. We happened to find it by accident, and were so glad we did!

YES, NOODLE MARKET, YES…read more One of the most magical nights I had in Sydney. As a foodie fanatic, lover of new cultures, and outdoor-art nut, this was the dream. There's tons of food stands, food trucks, patio/seating areas, photo backgrounds, twinkle lights, Chinese lanterns GALORE, and more all in Hyde Park. I tasted so many foods - BBQ skewers, noodle plate, and even a fruity drink that came in a coconut. The food was all delicious (and hard to choose), but the atmosphere here is what makes it for me. There's so many happy people and beautiful lights, which truly makes for an incredible atmosphere. I think these markets pop up a few times a year (you'll have to double check).

Really popular place. They have street seating and indoor. The only thing available when we went…read morewithout waiting was inside. Inside wasn't bad, the table was big and the chairs comfortable. We were waited on immediately. Servers fly around like dancers, it's actually pretty impressive. Our food arrived in no time. My wife had fish and chips and I had lamb and rosemary pie. She enjoyed her meal. Mine was different than I've had before. It was still ok but I wouldn't order it again. Others would probably like it, it just wasn't for me. We didn't have any dessert but as you walk in the door they have some wonderful looking pies and cakes. Do yourself a favor and save room for one of those. I messed up and didn't try something. This is actually a really cool restaurant that I would like to try again. I wouldn't let one dish that didn't hit my taste buds keep me away.

I understand it can get a little busy at times too, so there might be a wait. PRO TIP: make an online reservation and get seated right away! I had a couple of goals when visiting Australia... and one of them was to try kangaroo. The Rocks Cafe delivers with their Kangaroo Filet! And you can get it gluten-free! The sauce is a bit rich for me, but you can brush some of the sauce off with your fork. If kangaroo is not your thing, then there are plenty of other options on the menu... and the crowd around us all looked pleased with their orders. After you are done with your meal, you just go to the front/reception area and pay your bill. Easy peasy! Overall rating: ****FOUR STARS**** Gluten-free rating: ****FOUR STARS****

I looked yo book online, several times were open so several of us walked about 2km, passed by 100s of great restaurants to find Chin Chins closed for a private function. Instead of having an amazing meal we had to find a pub that was still serving food and an ok dinner. I doubt I'll ever come back!!

But it definitely got a lot more crowded after 7pm and the music was pretty loud. The vibe overall was amazing though! The food was definitely the highlight of the visit! We ordered the pork belly drunken noodle and BBQ King Salmon wrapped in banana leaf. I love the mixture of flavors and how good it was! We also ordered the crispy salt and pepper bug tails from the large plate and it was really tasty! I love the balance of the flavors in all the food! I didn't order the drinks, but my friends did and they said it was really good too! It was more on the sweeter side, but overall, was still really good! This place is definitely worth the hype! Go and visit them while you're in Sydney!

Scan the QR code in the table and place your order through your phone. The food was prepared quickly and brought to our table in less than 15mins. Everything was great except there was too club batter on the calamari rings. I have a low tolerance for heat and I can say that kung pao chicken was not spicy but the spicy dumplings were a little too spicy for me. Definitely recommend the truffle fried rice, pork dumpling, and kung pao chicken.

During this trip, I happened to want soup dumplings so thought this would be a good time to try. My husband and I were there as soon as it opened so had no issues getting seated right away. Ordering was very easy. I just scan a QR code and can place my order online. For food, we made to sure to get soup dumplings (xiao long bao). We also got shrimp and pork dumplings and one with Sichuan Mala flavor. For the sides we got some garlic stir fried veggies. I thought all the dumplings were okay in taste, flavor, and texture. I really was not a fan of the Sichuan Mala one. It was gamey in taste. It actually made me think I was eating lamb instead of pork. Veggies were standard. This is a place I can say I've tried but don't plan to try another one.
