Margherita pizza just had one piece of basil - the crust was perfect chewy though. Tagliatelle con Ragu alla Bolognese Rich and heavy but quite flavorful. The noodle texture is really good. Caesar salad - it's not what you think! First, they didn't have an option for a side salad so you have to order the entree size. Next, there are two distinct dressings here - a milky, watery Caesar dressing at the bottom of the pile, and a tart, brown drizzle that goes over the thick chicken slices. Weird and doesn't really work. There's no air conditioning or fans so during hot days it can be super stuffy in here. The service is negligible and you have to bother them to get attention, asking more than once for things on multiple occasions. Overall, overrated here - skip for something more local instead. That's all.

I live close to the NYC outpost for Eataly. When we going this gem in Munich, I was all in. Of course, I had their pizza and it was great. Best meal in Munich. Then we had gelato snd it became the best meal of our whole trip. Tired of brown and white food, go here, you'll thank me later.

Went here a couple a weeks ago and found the place having a tourist-y vibe. Had to wait a bit to get seated and though service was good it was slow as well, considering they were very understaffed. The food was good and portions are very generous. Had the Gorgonzola salad which was delicious and tried a few bites from the pizza menu and didn't disappoint the mortadella bites were yummy, though the house pasta so, which was a very simple spaghetti pomodoro was meh. All in all its was an experience and would try other locations if I'm in the neighborhood.

My friend and I ate at Eately after a long day at the Nymphburg Palace. We were very hungry and Eately satisfied our needs. We ordered Hugos, which were truly delicious. Our Margarita pizza was huge and so good; the bread was incredible. We ordered a pasta dish to share which was also delicious. Expect to pay a little more here (we spent about 25 euro each), but the food was worth it.

This is probably my favorite Eataly. The store is gorgeous, well-stocked, and centrally located. My only criticism is the two tables next to me and myself where all waiting for a waiter or a waitress after being seated, to place orders, add to orders, or to pay the bill. No one would stop at our tables. I was hungry and walked out to eat at another restaurant after waiting :20. It was Saturday night. The restaurant was full but no one was working the tables,

Often long queues for this place in the touristy Virtuellenmarkt (a minute from Marienplatz), but coming a bit earlier after an afternoon of showers certainly meant only another pair of diners in the queue ahead of us. Hygiene station at the entrance cutlery in nice paper sachets with the napkin hidden inside too - so hopefully no one gets to handle them before you. It's both a restaurant and an italian food store / deli. Seated on the terraced part we were secluded from the street by plants/hedge. The road does have bus services running along it so you know. There are also tables on the pavement too. Waiter was very friendly and as we going to order the seafood platter and the offer for 4-mini pizza for €20, he advised us to take the seafood and then see how hungry we still were. (wow). He also advised of drinks and offers that were available like that typical italian orangey citrus spirit that I can never remember the name of. The first course was enough for two but my foodie friend insisted on ordering a pizza too (no dessert), so the waiter smiled and brought the pizza sliced in half on two plates - nice touch without asking (he knows his profession for sure). and when ordering more drinks i swapped to a beer and he'd brought me the smaller size - perfect choice! There was no rush for us to leave being a Tuesday evening and it's a very relaxing atmosphere with just the right balance of service. Bathrooms are in the basement which means you have to take the elevator - the one disappointment in times of Corona - more buttons to try and avoid pressing - but there was hand sanitizer scattered about indoors. We will be back as more of the menu to discover.

Alwaysssss fulll of people in and out! To eat here you must not be really hungry because the service takes forever. The pasta is decent. The ambience too. At least you can see people walking for a while :) And then you can find Venchi gelato inside...always yummy!!!

Excellent restaurant with great food. This place is filled with a number of different restaurants. I chose to try out the pizza spot. Next time I'm hoping to have some of the pasta. I went with four other friends. So the place is great for a small group. We all enjoyed our food. With my pizza, wine and two glasses of beer, I paid a total of 28 €. Not too bad for all of the additional alcohol. The price of the pizza itself was around 10 €.

Service was beyond terrible. Would not recommend to anyone. Good wine though but not sure how anyone could mess that up.

I am Romanian. This is the only shop in town that sells the amazing Romanian wines, world wide…read moreawarded like Cotnari and Murfatlar brands and many others available. If it would be only for that alone, I would give them 5 stars. Besides the wines you can find quite an interesting amont of Romanian products: Borsec water, Eugenia, pufuleti, zacusca, castraveti murati, Cremsnit, malai, mici, mezeluri de Sibiu sau Sinaia, branza, sos de usturoi, cascaval etc. It's worth having a look if you're searching for Romanian products in Munich. The shop has Russian speaking people and the profile of the shop is not Romanian, it's actually Eastern European with a big accent on Russian things. Fortunately for me, they sport the good Romanian products as well :) I also love their veggies and fruits section, it looks organic and locally supplied most of them like in the local markets that we have in Romania and not in the supermarket standard kind of way. Not all are fresh always from what I saw, but that's why you have your eyes with you, you can see which one is worth buying and which not, but from what I bought until now, the taste is far better than the supermarket standard veggies and the prices are not as high as the Viktualienmarket. The place is big and supports many products from Eastern Europe. In front of the place you can find also some Russian kind of grill in a fast food kind of setting. My biggest issue is that it is rather far for me, 3 tram stations from Ostbahnhof, exactly in the opposite side of the town compared to where I live. Also, you can find people speaking in Russian and German...but if you want to speak in English it's hard to find someone at the counter that can speak English. Fortunately I got along with my German, because Russian is unknown to me. And the place where you go to pay is a bit crowded, but this is in favour of the rest of the shop which is quite big and spacious. If you want to get an Eastern European flavour in Munich, this is the place where you should do your shoppings. But be aware that because all are imported, the prices are higher for some of the products that can be found easily in local supermarkets as well. However, when you talk about things that cannot be found elsewhere in Munich, it's worth putting your money down and buying from them.

One can buy everything needed for a traditional Russian New Year. Such products as fine "Gurken"…read moreand green "Knoblauch" are of a good quality and prices are lower than in Lidl / Aldi. However, shop is very compact and paths are very narrow.
