[ food ]: 10/10 * Korean Corndog - Super cheesy with a…read moresatisfying crunch! I'd say that these were the best korean corndogs in town with how well they were made and the flavor really hit the nail on the head. * Boneless wings - At first i was really disappointed with how little sauce the wings had but after taking a few bites, I was thankful. The cashier warned us that the Hot and Spicy sauce was REALLY spicy and they weren't joking. I really enjoyed the heat as a spice enthusiast. He even said that for someone that doesn't usually eat a lot of spicy foods, this sauce would be a 9/10 on the hotness scale for most, but for those that regularly partake of spice would rate it close to a 3 or 4 out of 10, and I'd have to agree. Both the hot&spicy sauce and the spicy soy were really tasty and unique in their own ways but I'd recommend for satisfying that spice craving and the spicy soy for more flavor. * Tteokbokki- The sauce of the tteokbokki was perfect, I genuinely think the consistency was perfect, not too sticky/dry and not too soupy. The flavor AND spice was there. This one really hit the spot for me. [ service ]: 10/10 * When you walk into the restaurant, you go to the cashier to order and they were more than helpful and accommodating when asking for recommendations on the wing flavors. They gave us an extra korean corndog because they had messed up the order which was super kind of them to do. Everyone was inviting and kind despite there being a little bit of a lunch rush. [ ambiance ]: 8/10 * This was definitely not any kind of high dining experience but had really cute decor and wall decals of little corndogs! There was also a tv playing various genres of music which created a more inviting aura to the restaurant. I also appreciated how clean the tables and floors were, you can tell that the staff were on top of the cleanliness level!

He already knew what he wanted, Chicken Wings, and I already knew what I wanted, Bulgogi! He also ordered Onion rings. His chicken wings were like: that big! I've not seen chicken wings as big as legs. He had Honey mustard with his wings. I've not seen him devoured all of that, in one day, you could tell he was starting to slow down by the last leg. My bowl was perfectly seasoned, and I really enjoyed all the meat cut into my bite-size! We will definitely be coming back.

Great BBQ at the Alberta Carts!…read more The staff were super friendly and the food came out fast. We got the Pulled Porkland and Beeferton Cheese Steak. Both came out on a bun with crispy melted cheese on poking out. A little inconvenient to eat but delicious nonetheless. Inside the Pulled Porkland was a bed of slaw, pickled peppers and a lot of juicy pulled pork. The Beeferton Cheesesteak had all the essentials of a cheesesteak, including the tender smoked brisket. They both came with extra BBQ sauce on the side. They were both amazing and I would recommend ordering the sandwich with your preferred meat. Will be coming back again!

Meat tender and flavorful, falling off the bone. The spices are on point and saturates deep in to the food for tremendous flavor you can't miss. By default the Jamaican cuisine is often hot/spicy, so be aware and not fin yourself in a surprise. I think some of the items on the menu can be made not spicy, ask them for details. But I love spicy personally, so I am all in. Another great thing about it is the price is still reasonable given how crazy everything costs today. I don't feel like I am breaking banks for a good meal. And they do give a generous portion as well. The spot is kinda hidden in a boring looking building and a huge parking lot, but trust me it's worth the stop to try it -- there is already ample parking for you to pull in and out anyway, no inconvenience there. The owner operators are such nice people. Down to earth, with care and love for their customers. I talked with them to learn about the cuisine. That means I have quite a bit of experience picking up food at food trucks, restaurants and even home kitchens. That being said I stopped by the electric rice food truck to pick up an order to deliver and Eric the owner was in the truck. He was wearing a hairnet and he had gloves on, something I'd never seen before in a food truck, but spoke volumes on Eric's commitment to his craft. As I was picking up the food he had a small portion of food left over that he offered to me which I gladly accepted. Looking into his truck was easy to do, the place was spotless. I must say it is rare to find such attention to detail. the food was well presented and absolutely delicious. Eric was friendly, gracious, and was genuinely happy to be providing food to the public. The portion I received was fantastic. And although I couldn't see inside the bag I was picking up to deliver, the weight of the bag revealed that the customer I was delivering to was receiving more than their money's worth.
