This place was insane how delicious this food is. The Brisket is so tender and juicy (a little fatty but that's okay) the flavor is just divine. The cornbread was FIRE! Compliments the meal perfectly!! The Mac was amazing the right amount of cheese seasoned to perfection I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious meal. The service was great and the food is cooked very freshly so it is a bit of a wait when you order but it's sooo worth it. Inside it's a cute little set up with tables and chairs & lots of art on the wall. I will 100% be back VERY SOON!!

I just can't say it now." Times have changed! I haven't had a BBQ brisket in years. I tried it here and although a little small in portion it had a rich flavor, very tender, and respectable sauce. However, it was uniform in color, no apparent smoke ring, and thinly sliced. The service was especially attentive and friendly. The time to serve the food was perhaps a little slow at a time then the place was maybe 1/4 full of customers.

The sauce is making my mouth water just thinking about it. Five stars for the ribs. Excellent. I was a little surprised at the price as I ordered at the register, but I did get two pretty generous sides with it. And I was happy I got to sit inside to eat it in their small casual seating area. Get the skillet corn. Expertly cooked (not mushy) and the flavor was *chef's kiss* I'm considering getting a big side of it to Thanksgiving dinner. I am a bit of a macaroni and cheese connoisseur. I have organized tastings and repeatedly announced that it is my favorite meal, deserted island meal, last prison meal... I'm still processing my thoughts on the mac and cheese here. I didn't like the flavor or texture, but I do think it's a personal preference so maybe it's your thing. Next time I'll try peach cobbler... wait that sounds delicious! Maybe I'll go right now...

It was on time and I appreciate that with catering. The food came in pretty standard aluminum trays but everything was good. The meat was good and the chicken was actually my favorite which was surprising to me, the collard greens were a little extra salty, and the yams were sweet. Honestly I liked all of it, I overate and spent the next hour absolutely useless at work (if my boss reads this please know I worked very hard anyway). Everyone on the team seemed happy and enjoyed the food and it was big portions so we never ran out. We also got the cornbread which I had to literally wait and go get as a second once I cleared some room on my plate. The cornbread was a tad bit dense for my liking but overall very good. Absolutely better than pizza for a team lunch.

The food choices made it hard to make a selection. Due to my limited options of foods I can eat I went with the oxtail starter and dinner with the crawfish étouffée. My husband got the blackened salmon with a side of greens and Mac n Cheese. My guest went with the surf and turf pasta. One had brisket and the other got chicken with shrimp. The food was good but got cold really quickly. It's hidden in a neighbor and a must try if you're in the area. The atmosphere is welcoming and great for groups.

Norma Jean, Let's talk about it!!!…read more Indoor/outdoor seating options Let start with the serve yourself water station from a bucket. Little weird, and I didn't like it as I wasn't cold, no ice. Out with the kid for dinner before her big day...... they enjoyed the Oxtails (1 jerk and 1 smoothered), collard greens mix veggie, and beans & Rice. They finished their entire plate!!! I asked for chicken and shrimp Cajun plate. Welp, no chicken available, so I was offered brisket. Asked for honey butter cornbread, yup not available. Before I ordered, I asked for the Cajun sauce to be removed. I was advised it has little kick but not spicy. Let's just say it was a dish I couldn't enjoy or eat. I ate 2 noodles and needed an entire cup of water. I ate the shrimp and a few penne pasta noodles and a few cubes of meat. I ordered the fried shrimp from the picture on Google review. Let me just say what I got served looks as if the grease needed to be changed. They came out grayish, and I know it wasn't seasoning. They saw it didn't look right but served it to me anyway. I would not recommend it. I wasn't impressed with the food. The vibe was off. I didn't feel welcomed when we entered the location. And we were the ONLY paying folks seated in the restaurant. Total disappointment! The restroom are shared with other businesses attached to the location at the rear.
