They missed an important detail about keeping the original box and it hindered me from receiving the refund (I didn't keep it because I was backpacking). I asked for help to send me a box; they asked for €290. How petty. Sure, this is a profit-based company, but when you spend this kind of money, it's poor taste to have a customer pay for the company's poor advisement. After contacting the representatives that assisted with my purchase, Johanna and Adrian, for help - they wanted more money. What's worse, they never even checked back to see how things were going or offer any reasonable help after I explained the predicament THEY put me in. In this type of industry, they don't represent the excellent service standards expected. Not elite, not excellent, not even worthy of an honorable mention. When your transaction is complete at this business, they will smile and give you their business card. But it's worthless because trying to ask for help after you leave the store is impossible. If you don't care about money, give them your business.

After speaking on the telephone this quotation rose to €60 and that was satisfactory as we were not familiar with Berlin and they were delivering it to our apartment. The wheelchair was delivered 2 hours after agreed time, that was ok and we were delighted to receive the wheelchair. I contacted Rolli King via email after delivery as no collection point was arranged. I asked on the 4/4/23 if we could return the wheelchair at the airport at 18:00 on the 7/4/23 and I received an "ok" on the 5/4/23. On the day of the return 7/4/23 I emailed and called Rolli King about location in airport for drop off, no response. At 17:28 Rolli King called me to say I had broken the contract by not leaving wheelchair at apartment. He offered me a "good deal " on purchasing the wheelchair, we were on the way to the airport. I explained i did not need this wheelchair and I politely declined his offer and told him the wheelchair would be at the apartment for collection. We got off the train with the wheelchair and made our way back to the location of delivery. We arrived at 17:55 and left the wheelchair in a secure storage space at apartment. It is now 13 hours later and the wheelchair still remains at location, we almost missed our flight and had to get a taxi to the airport. The wheelchair is safe thanks to the kindness of our hosts in Berlin. This company appear to have had no intention of collecting the wheelchair and wanted to make a profit at our expense

Cost wise, their Durst Lambda prints Fuji Crystal Archive DPII mounted on dibond are very reasonable and their canvas prints are great value. They offer volume discount if you push a lot of work through them. Their website isn't that good, but once your work is uploaded its all quite fuss free. Quality wise, their output is excellent, be wary of textile prints and direct to dibond as the colour balance isn't always right, which can be an issue if you need the product in a hurry, if you don't then they'll fix it. Normal delivery time to the UK is 11-15 days. I have no issue recommending them.

I recall also they have continued to supply great articles and helpful information, such as during Covid-19 Corona Pandemie, when many were scrambling trying to understand what to do as foreigners and freelancers, especially. When I contacted them again this month, I saw their website and services are widely expanded. When i searched the terms I knew before, I still couldn't find the service I remembered before. Despite being in an ER situation, I wrote a query and they responded within a timely way. Since I had given precise descriptions of what I needed, they were able to direct me to the booking type I needed. I can't say I would have found it on my own, but that was my limited terminology I believe. If someone is desperate and expect miracle workers, Germany especially, and any service is just not like that. I was not success in completing the task I needed, but not due to Red Tape, it was just the German system. Red Tape offered to and refunded my payment. Individual circumstances vary, time, date, schedules, offices, bureaucracy vary. Wholesale total lack of objectivity because someone didn't read all the information they needed to, and lack of recognition they are not the only customer is not Red Tape's fault. Red Tape has always been reliable, honest and upfront with me even when situations weren't successful. I would recommend it first and foremost beyond any comparable service center.

As of today, a number of items remain unfinished or damaged. I'm attaching photos of some of these so readers can assess the work themselves. After six months without a reply, I informed the company that I intended to publish a review. I then received an offer to address some (but not all) of the outstanding items, conditional on further payment. When I asked for clarification on the amount, communication stopped again.

We visited their beautiful studio with a vague notion of what we wanted to do - more of a concept than anything else - and within 20 minutes Laureen had sketched a beautiful layout. Not only had she made our invitation real - we walked out of Volta with a sense that our wedding was finally becoming real as well. We didn't stop smiling for the rest of the day. That studio sketch did not do justice to the design that was to follow. I'm adding a picture here so you can see it but she took our idea and brought that simple line sketch to life. We went through a couple of iterations to get the imagery just right and our feedback was immediately heard and incorporated. But as beautiful as the invites looked on the screen, we were not prepared for the delight of the beautifully wrapped packets containing the final print. They were well packed and delivered exactly on time. They went out last week and people have been BLOWING UP our phones and emails telling us that these are some of the most beautiful and unique invitations they've ever seen.
