I have a 1990 BMW which requires the more intensive smog service. I called 10 places around HB and all of them had their machines "broken" or "down" when I called. Jamal was eager to take on the extra work that it takes to smog these old cars and I'm glad he did because he's also just a good, honest, dude that I'm glad I met. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a smog check but especially for anyone with an older car needing special attention. They were fast, easy, and priced below the others. read more

NEW PRICES, NEW FAMILY OWNERSHIP/MANAGEMENT, AND QUALITY SERVICE. I used to go here a few years back before they raised the prices. I decided to go and give Just Smogs a chance due to the increase. Well... this time with a different car, I went online to see if I could find any discounts. I found one here with Easy Smogs, I made an appointment. When dropping off I met a nice big smiled gentleman named Jamal. We began talking as he set up my service paperwork. He is nice, well spoken, and a genuine down to earth dude. The funny part is Jamal worked on two of my vehicles at his prior job location before purchasing Easy Smog. With that being said, if you need a Smog Test for your vehicle Jamal with Easy Smog is the place to go in the HB area. They know what they are doing and get the job done right. Plus lowering the prices is not such a bad bonus!!! Thank you Jamal and Easy Smogs!! read more

I took my newer BMW to this location for its semi-annual smog inspection. It's clear that the place is under new management, as the service was quick and hassle-free. The pricing was reasonable, and everything was clearly explained from the start without any problems. When it's time for my next smog inspection, I will definitely return here. read more

Excellent smog check experience! Friendly, professional staff, quick service, fair pricing, and no wait. Highly recommend!

A quick, local GOOGLE search led me to EASY SMOG and I could not be more satisfied. I was greeted immediately upon parking my car by Jamal. He was able to start right away as I was sitting in the waiting area- clean comfortable chairs, nice cool breezy, fresh coffee and I was even offered an ice cold bottle of water. I hadn't even finished filling out my SINGLE information form , when he was done! I was literally in and out in less than 10 minutes. Fast, quick service as it should be.. courteous, honest (price as quoted) and everyone smiling. Thank you again JAMAL, see you in 2 years for another smog. read more

This place makes getting a smog check non stressful. No one likes getting the smog check notice on their registration. Ive usually been able to get my car immediately in to get checked here. There is a new owner now. The old owner was great and the new owner seems very nice as well. If you're in HB, I recommend this place. The price is great as well. read more

I have to give a 5 stars to this place. I went here because I saw their sign out front. I didn't look at their review ahead of time or get recommended here. My smog check was a pleasant experience. I would come here again based on that. The price was probably not the cheapest but it was a smooth transaction. read more

Quick and knowledgeable. Was recommended by another person and was very glad that he was able to service my car quickly.

I have gone for a smog test my 1990 Vanagon and 2010 Prius. Been coming here for over 15 years and always a good experience. I think different owners than the couple I used to go to, but the new people have done great. Very prompt and informative. I think a good value but I don't really have anything to compare to. read more

Really quick service, customers are always flowing in, parking can be crowded. The technician recommended I go to a DMV kiosk to renew my registration. Please note it will take 3 to 5 hours for the smog results to post to the DMV records - as explained to me by a DMV agent. Unfortunately, I went prior to the 3 to 5 hours processing period, whereby, the DMV kiosk had asked for a 'renewal fee deposit' to have the registration card and sticker mailed once the smog results have been acknowledged. read more

We to get a car smog done and clearly states if it doesn't pass you don't pay. The car didn't pass and still charged me. They proceeded to tell me that this Yelp page is not real and it's not his business. What a joke of a business and didn't think places like this were still out there. read more

This my go to place for smogging all my vehicles. For large vehicles such as RV, you will need to call and make an appointment, limited space with other businesses. This is a mom and pop business and they will get you in and out super fast! Most important is I trust them to avoid any scams. Very friendly and nice waiting area too. read more

Stat Away!!! This place is a scam! My normal smog guy was not open and sent me here. I had a coupon for $10 off plus recheck. He tested my truck and all the readings passed but he can back and said his "visual dashboard gauge" test failed. He had a mechanic standing next to him and told me it failed but this mechanic could fix it. I said no and drove it back to my mechanic who hooked it up to the computer and said everything was fine. He also told me that it is illegal for a Star smog station to recommend a mechanic. I took it back and he said it was fine and passed. Nothing changed! He would not give me my car until I paid another $20 for the recheck even though my coupon said free rechecks! Stay away! This guy is a crook! read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. I have been going here for well over 20 years. Ran by Brian and Michelle, and now Anthony. Great place for a swift smog check. Super fair and always quick. I met Anthony for the first time today, and he continues the great family traditions and service I have grown to love with Easy Smog. I don't ever haggle prices as I love to support small family businesses that take great care of their customers. I go for the friendly service and hope they continue to flourish and be around for another 20+ years for me. I was extremely surprised to get $20 bucks off and only pay $45 for my smog with the special they are having. Either way, more to love about this humble shop. They are like family!! Hit them up for your smog needs. Thank you Anthony for the great service. It was great meeting you today!!! read more

Outstanding Service worth more than a 5 star review I went this week to get a smog and Anthony gave me outstanding service, in about 20 minutes I came in at about 4:45 which I knew he was close to closing but he took me anyways Charged $65 for the test Then he was able to pay the DMV online right then Gave me my Registration and sticker also Even put the sticker on my car I said "thanks so much you are very kind" He said, "it doesn't cost any money to be kind" read more

Great quick service! Called ahead and they didn't have a wait so it only took about 10 minutes. Very convenient!

The person who did my smog accidentally locked my keys in my car when moving it into the parking spot. When I informed him of what happened, he tried to Jimmy the door but couldn't do it. He had another customer and just gave up and it was basically my problem after that. I reached out to the manager and he was nice enough to refund me the money I had spent on the smog. Had to have my husband drive 30 minutes to bring an extra set of keys to get it open so I could finally leave. The employee didn't even say he was sorry! Turns out he had the radio going and luckily it didn't kill my battery read more
