That kind of price jump felt excessive and misleading. I chose not to move forward and ended up getting both my rear brakes and rotors done elsewhere for $320. I'd strongly recommend getting multiple quotes before committing here. Prices seem to run much higher than expected. I wanted to update this review. I don't think it's worth a one star however I was just not happy with the miscommunication. I feel you should let your customers know ahead of time that they don't have the option to choose.

Based on a recommendation from my brother-in-law (our family's "car guru"), I reached out to Edgar. He quoted me $1,200 for the exact same work. It was a no-brainer, and the results were perfect. I recently went back after the dealership gave me a staggering $5,500 quote for a laundry list of items (brakes, axles, plugs, belts, etc.). Edgar looked at the same list and came back at $2,100. I ended up getting the new engine and it has been great and Dennis gave me the best price I called multiple shops and he did it for the best rate I got from calling other shops with a warranty and he is AAA approved.
