Davey, Scott and Amy did a great job for us! We booked them for a day of snorkeling for our extended family of 13 with ages from 7 to 63. There were pop-up storms in the morning and they were very safety focused and worked with us on a plan for the day that would work for everyone and avoid the weather. We snorkeled for a couple of hours and saw stingrays, puffer fish and a wide variety of tropical fish. We then went to a sandbar and had lunch. Our crew really enjoyed that! They then took us to a spot to watch dolphins and followed that by more snorkeling. It was a great day and I would highly recommend them. read more

Our half day snorkeling charter with Tom was exactly what we were looking for and what we expected. We originally wanted to go to the dry tortugas but wanted more time in the water and less time traveling to the reef. Tom was a knowledgeable guide to all the local reefs and supplied the snorkel gear as well as a cooler with waters (we brought the drinks). We ended up seeing fish, 2 types of rays, lobster, crabs, and a live conch. Great value for the price, we would do it again. read more

We found Easy Day Charters on Yelp and we were very happy we did. Tom is a very nice and knowledgeable person and really gave us a great time. We wanted to go snorkeling and relax a bit and that's exactly what we did. My gf was not an experienced snorkeler and Tom took us to a shallow place out in the ocean where we could stand and also snorkel- it was perfect. Giving us other options after that stop, we chose an isolated beach where apparently Jimmy Buffet liked to hang out back in the day. He has all the equipment you need to snorkel-we brought our own mask and snorkel and used his fins. Bring your own booze, drinks and snacks as he's has a cooler with ice and water. Having your own private boat was very much worth the cost as it's all about you and your guests and not having to deal with other tourists. (Btw He accepts credit cards.) Captain Tom was the nicest guy for our family excursion. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. We went to an amazing snorkel spot, and saw everything from beautiful fish to huge rays! The cost was so reasonable, cheaper for us to do this with our party of 6 than go out with a large crowded "tourist" boat, and we didn't have to share the boat with anyone else! I really liked the sandbar experience, too. My only regret was that we didn't go back a second time on our trip. I can't wait to go again. It was the highlight of our vacation in Key West. Easy Day Charters seems to hold true to the name. The captain did everything to make our experience easy. I only wish my troupe was a little quicker (we got there late, not early) so we could of done more. This was our first time with a charter. . .and I am sold. Forget Fury and sebago from now on. The charter boat is located just off the Palm Avenue bridge/thingee . . .right next to the Thai restaurant (not be confused with the floating Thai restaurant). From there your off. We caught some dolphis (awesome) than a nice excursion to a secluded beach/island. The kid had fantastic time looking for sea shells. I would recommend Easy Day in a heartbeat. I hope to do it again next time. . .as I'm not jumping on a party boat. I think the best thing about Easy Day is the honesty on having a good experience. I know it was a busy week, but he doesn't go out (and refunds) if the weather doesn't suit the trip. That takes some guts and puts customers first. Not everyone does this (looking at you Sebago). Capitan Tom was extremely friendly and professional to my family during our charter. We went to a sand bar for fun and to the reef for snorkeling. Our group consisted of myself, my husband, and our 6 year old daughter. Capitan Tom was beyond patient when our daughter panicked when she got in the water (it was her first time snorkeling). We snorkeled the reef for a bit while Capital Tom offered to watch our daughter back on the boat. We then decided to go back to the sand bar so we could all enjoy the rest of the charter in the water. We were the only boat around during the entire trip, very private with no need to worry about crowds or social distancing between boats. Capitan Tom was also very knowledgeable about the water and surrounding areas. We will definitely be back for another charter. read more

When we arrived he told us it was too rough to go out on the Atlantic side, and that we needed to stay in more protected waters. My family of four with two kids (6 and 8 years old) selected a half day in the afternoon for some fishing/snorkel and sand bar. Well, we were getting ready to bait the cooks when a very large storm with lightning and thunder quickly approached. Capt. Wade got us out of harms way very quickly and took us to a small island where we had a great time on the beach and the kids had fun finding "gold coins" and building sand castles. After the crazy storm passed we went back out for some snorkeling where my family saw many different sponges and fish. Capt. Wade did a great job teaching our kids how to snorkel and he was very kind and patient. Next we did a little fishing where my two kids both caught little snappers which we put back. He listened to what our group wanted to do and made suggestions of the best way to use our time. We saw dolphins and got to go to a deserted island, where some of our group got off and went sea shelling. He is very honest - if the weather is bad he will not go out that day, and refund a customer's money if he can't reschedule. That is not at all like the huge charter boat companies. Triple 5 Tom was the person I talked to when booking a reservation. He was really nice and no deposit upfront. He made sure the day we book is possible to go to sea. Really thoughtful service. He went extra miles to make sure we have a blast day. I could not find any better words to describe how wonderful he was. He made my bachelorette sea party the best I could ever asked for. He jumped to the water to guide us and to make sure we are safe when we were snorkeling. He took us the the island where all the birds are staying and the way he talked about them We can see the love of nature in him and how passionate he is with his job. Then we went to sand bar and he wanted to stay at that one place but there were a big group of naked guys hanging around. He thoughtfully moved us to a different sand bar so we didn't feel awkward there. Then he tried to take us to many places to see the dolphins but unfortunately we were 2 days away from the Florence storm so we guessed the dolphins were moving somewhere else. Captain Thom did an amazing job introducing us to the backcountry waters of the bay and exploring into the Gulf of Mexico. We went through the mangrove trees where we saw amazing wildlife. Next, Captain Thom brought us to Snipe point at the perfect time of day. We had the island and sandbar to ourselves, where we had snacks, enjoyed the natural beauty of the island, and played frisbee. It was a tropical paradise. We found amazing conch shells (which of course we left). Finally, we headed to the dolphin playground. We saw dolphins feeding and a few of them even swam right alongside our boat! Captain Thom was interesting, knowledgeable, and had great stories and anecdotes.
