Detroit Seafood Spot - Salmon hibachi with yum yum sauce

If i could give negative stars i would. I never in my life had a bad seafood boil until i went here…read more, absolutely disgusting. The food was overpriced , spent 83$ on a SNACK seafood boil that was supposed to be 2 for 60$ then i only added a 7$ lobster tail which was overcooked. The potatoes & eggs tasted OLD then gave us overcooked shrimp. The sausages was still raw then had the nerve to put a whole sausage in there , didn't even try to cut it up. The establishment alone was disgusting & dirty. When i walked in , i tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but that was my fault .. one of the line cooks was eating chicken while working then had no gloves on , the cashier was rude & watching twerk videos while taking my order. I couldn't even finish my food when i got home & im pissed because it smelled so good. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered the salmon hibachi - made to order, food was hot when I got it. Salmon was a little dry,…read moreand the meal only included 3 pieces of broccoli. Taste was meh. One of the cooks, was walking back and forth getting food out of the freezer which was in the front part of the restaurant. He had gloves on while opening & closing the door to the freezer, grabbing food out of the boxes and pushing the kitchen door open. He must have went back and forth 3x. I'm pretty sure he wasn't getting my food because they had already started cooking it. Probably won't be returning

I was not prepared for how much stuff Meijer has. This place is basically Target on steroids, but…read moresomehow with better prices and fewer judgmental vibes. You go in for one thing and suddenly you're considering patio furniture, snacks for the apocalypse, and a new outfit. A funny thing was we were looking at shoes, opened the box, and it looked like someone else had the same thoughts cause the new shoes were replaced with someone's old shoes lol. The store is huge, well stocked, and honestly overwhelming in the best way. Aisles on aisles of everything you could possibly need, and a few things you didn't know you needed. This is easily one of the biggest perks of being in Detroit. Once you shop at Meijer, regular grocery stores just feel... small. If you have time, energy, and a strong sense of direction, it's absolutely worth it. Just don't expect a "quick trip." Oh! And they have some of the best deli meats I've ever had! Please make sure you check it out at least once!

The bakery/ deli department is very rude and non-friendly! within the past month I have went there…read morethree times for cake and cupcakes for relative's birthday celebrations and the staff was beyond rude; they look at you and walk the other way and leave you standing there. There is a Caucasian guy who wears glasses and a short African American lady who wears a mask over her face. Both individuals do not know how to talk to customers and every question that I asked the answer was NO and they would walk away. As a manager working with the public every day, I get every day is not going to be peaches and cream but EVERY single time I go to the bakery department I'm embraced with rude, ignorant attitudes.
