Ask the Community - Easton Paul J, DDS

Anyone know how he died ? anyone know who his assistants name was?

I only just learned that he died from an unexpected heart attack! It surprised everyone and they are all heartbroken like I am. He was the nicest man ever and so were the women who worked with him. The only name I can remember right now is Charlie…

Is Dr. Easton having some problems with his business? It is November 1 2017 and I have been trying to get in touch with him so I could get an appointment to try him out.I want to know if he is worth waiting on or should I move on.

Dr. Paul Easton passed away Wednesday September 16, 2020. Still trying to find out more details.

*PLS LOOK FOR A DENTAL OFFICE SOMEWHERE ELSE.*…read more THIS IS A **Cash Grabbing Dental Office**. I've always had a bad feeling about this place, and after today, I am completely done. My husband and I had been patients here, and while they were initially polite, it quickly became clear that they only care about you if they can bill your insurance. It felt like a business transaction rather than a genuine patient-focused experience. I made an appointment for my senior father, who is already fragile and has several medical issues. I confirmed his insurance details with Bertha, the coordinator, who assured me everything was good to go. However, when we arrived for the appointment, she suddenly claimed they couldn't find his insurance as active. Instead of offering an apology for the miscommunication, I was blamed for sending the wrong insurance information, despite not being informed of any issue before the day of the appointment. I was told in a condescending tone that other people just pay out of pocket, implying it was no big deal to them. The attitude was unprofessional and hurtful, and I felt completely discriminated against. Bertha clearly showed no value for the time spent or allotted to patients. This place is focused on money, not genuine care. I will never return, and I urge others to find a dental office that actually values their patients. Don't waste your time here.

The tooth in question already had a filling placed by this same office, and Dr. Bahrami (who isn't even a root canal specialist) told me it was now "too close to the nerve" and offered to do a root canal and crown for "super cheap." Instead of giving me a thoughtful explanation, he blamed me, raised his voice, and left me sitting in the chair mid-appointment with no plan other than "come back for the root canal." Something felt off, so I got a second opinion from an actual specialist and the result? I had no cavities, I did not need a root canal, and the tooth was completely healthy. Let that sink in. If I had trusted them, they would have drilled into a living, healthy tooth and pushed me into unnecessary, irreversible treatment. But this isn't just about one visit I've been going to this office since I was a child. I still remember being held down, barely numbed, and having dental work done while I was crying and terrified with no compassion. That memory has stayed with me for years, and I'm now 20. This office doesn't listen, they don't explain, and in my experience, they absolutely do not care about the patient only about doing the procedures they want to do. To make things worse, the receptionist never answered her phone and quoted me over $3,000 for multiple fillings I didn't need, plus a $1,500 root canal that was not necessary. If you're reading this and you've been told you need something major get a second opinion. It could save your tooth. It saved mine.

Recently, I thought I might need a root canal. He was extra careful and referred me to a specialist to be extra sure that I didn't need it at this time. I found his office on Yelp and I can say I have no complaints about the dental work. In the beginning, the front desk staff seemed to have a lot of turnover but recently it runs like a well oiled machine. They're popular so I suggest you make appointments in advance unless you have an emergency.

My son sees Dr Castro and he is an excellent dentist for the kiddos. My son recognized him as a dentist who made a visit to his school to talk about teeth and it's very easy to see why he's so popular with the little ones. But I've never had such a difficult time to schedule/reschedule an appointment before. I always feel like I have to take time off work or pull my son out of school or wait another month or more. Their hours are terrible. The 7am Fridays would be great if we lived closer but we'd have to leave even earlier to get through traffic and then there's no guarantee we'd be finished in an hour to get to school on time. 2pm closure on Fridays is crazy. And they close at 3pm on Tuesdays and 5pm on the other days. They are always booked solid so good luck if your child gets sick.
