We rented a home right on the Chesapeake and i couldn't find anywhere that would deliver kayaks and stand up paddle boards to me until i found Capital SUP. Kevin was terrific he drove up in a big van took out 3 beautiful clean colorful tandem kayaks and carried them far down to our dock with life jackets and paddles. We had so much fun in and out of the water with our families. ...and did I say the price was so much better than going anywhere and renting even for the day. Justin and Jasmine made sure we stayed hydrated, and regularly brought us into the air conditioning to avoid overheating. They ensured our safety every moment we were there. The rope course was insanely fun, the giant swing and zip line were a blast and our favorite part was honestly the rock climbing! Justin and Jasmine were fantastic - we will definitely come back (preferably not during a heat wave haha) and hope they will be our guides again - every single person today made it memorable for my family! This should be an opportunity to identify a solution comfortable for everyone affected by providing single use options, as opposed to telling my daughter "it's ok because he identifies as a she". There is an entry fee for non AA county residents of $8 and for residents it's maybe $5, cash or card. Lots of parking at all different places. Recommend coming early on nice days to avoid crowds. I have been many times to do many things and we always enjoy coming back!

Numerous trails and options throughout, and the park is open from 7 AM until dusk. Among the options are a dog park, art galleries, playgrounds, kayak rentals, ice skating, and picnic areas. I did not get to the Visitors Center, as it closed at 4 PM. We visited the South River Overlook Trail, which was four-tenths of a mile in length, and had benches at the water to fully enjoy and appreciate the spectacular views. There are six other trails, ranging to as much as a mile and one-half in length. An $8 entry fee for automobiles, additional for larger vehicles, and they also offer lifetime senior passes.

It's still in the testing phase but we had a great time. No issues at all. Our journey started at Truxton Park Boat Launch. You have to park in the parking lot and walk about 2-3 min to the boat launch. We completed the consent and boarded the watercraft and took a brief tour of Annapolis while Andy "walked on water" to propel the boat. We saw tons of yachts and expensive houses. Next, we disembarked and sat on a blanket under a shaded tree for lunch and laughs . Andy is great with kids. After lunch, we hopped into the water for some swimming ‍‍ and water football (life jackets provided). Andy played an awesome water playlist to include the theme song for JAWS , Gilligans Island , and Titanic . After swimming, we got back on the boat for some stand-up paddling and squirting birds with a water gun. We saw a few beautiful herons and ospreys . We also waved and chit chatted with a few boaters and kayakers. It was a creative adventure! When we went to go pick up our kayak we were once again reminded why "buying local" is more than just a trendy phrase. The owner, as well as the people who work there went above and beyond to make sure that all of our questions were answered and that we had everything we needed (at ridiculously good price) to really enjoy our first kayak. Visited Whoof on the wharf with my big floof and had the BEST time!…read more My guy is on the cautious side and doesn't particularly like new things. Bonnie was super helpful when I called to inquire about trying this out, recommending a time slot with no other appointments so there would be less distractions. The staff who met us there were super friendly and very good with my nervous guy. They had him wagging his tail happily within a minute! They were super calm and helpful with getting us into a kayak and then we were off! We paddled for about half an hr for this first time, and then the staff helped us back off of the water. The place is set up really well for nervous dogs. It's a quiet dock in the back of the marina, and you can just pull up and park on the gravel and walk down to the launch, so there's no need to coax your dog inside any unknown buildings. The marina is beautiful and I can't wait to go back and explore more. They do have a little shop as well where we finished our outing with a pup ice cream for my brave guy! We had a great time and we can't wait to go back!
