My spouse knows the internet will come back eventually (and it's still an issue so they get no leeway from me and we're paying almost $400 a month (it includes HBO ($17) and HDTV. TRY ANY OTHER SERVICE BEFORE THIS COMPANY. IT'S BAD in every way. Support, when not local, most of the time has no clue what they're even talking about. We have 3 tvs and 2 are within 20' or less of the modem/router on 2nd floor. 2nd floor tvs do the same thing - they drop the internet (and it may be throttling by astound, I don't know). One tv got moved from one room on the 1st floor into a fairly open are in a room right across from the room it was in for 7 years. They changed how the screen (tv) is viewed and it cuts off part of the screen with the FF, rewind, pause. It's annoying and interferes when I'm trying to read something. It does a weird auto rewind too many times and I'm pressing the right button. When I go back into the show, I often have to ff it to where I think I left off. rcn, do this ten times in 30 minutes and tell me how you feel. I'm ready to throw something at rcn/astound (not our tv). The signal on the internet drops too much on all tvs. I had a recorded show on and it kept coming up with three circles (so the internet usually drops when that happens and in ten minutes, I've had to disconnect the damn internet and reconnect it again 4 x). I changed rooms and tvs. rcn/astound/jackie don't respond to this - words are bogus as is the name. I went from being frustrated a lot to being frustrated and angry with the company every time I try to watch tv. I'm one person out of two and my vote for about 8 years has been to ditch the company. That's the only reason it's still here.

I didn't realize that service Electric was given me 245mb per second that's shit Internet and I'm with Xfinity I'm getting 1000mb per second and it's way faster!!!! Service Electric sucks really bad I'm glad I got rid of them thank God my PS5 and Xbox series X is running much faster and downloading games faster too. Thank God for Xfinity Internet. It's much better and faster too. I'll never go back to service Electric they suck ass. I'm glad I made the switch to Xfinity thank God!!!!

The setup was easy and we got the equipment we needed with no problems. (We decided to rent the modem router, not purchase our own. The cost is very reasonable.) We have had only a handful of outages in those years, and every one of them were very brief. Their pricing is reasonable compared to other companies. I just spoke with their Billing department to make a change to our account. I got a real human being very quickly. She verified my account and made the change while we were talking, and was very professional and helpful.

The install was a breeze and the techs were top notch going over every detail of my setup. When I didn't want to use their equipment he said that's ok but he also left me the router they supply, it was labeled where I would need to make connections and then he wrote his name and number on the box in case I needed to switch it quickly. When my router went out late one night, instead of scheduling an appointment and waiting they connected me up in a few minutes. When a part of my system failed (POE) and I talked with tech support they decided they needed to dispatch a tech. It took longer than I had excepted and hoped so when I called back to get an ETA the Support Manager located the part I was waiting on and personally drove it to my home. This is not something someone else told him, he took action because he cared about his customers. The company may not have the polish of a big company like Optimum but they shine like no other because off the nice, caring and hard working people who work at Planet Network.

My wife and I purchased what we thought was a new iPhone SE 3rd generation from the manager Jessica…read moreon 5/19/22. We chose this phone because of the A15 processor which is faster than the other phone we were looking at. As soon as we got home, we began setting up the phone. When I plugged the phone into our computer, it was labeled as "iPhone SE 2nd generation." The iPhone model number is in fact of a 2nd generation phone, and the fine print on the box had the manufacturing date of 2020. The 2nd generation SE has the slower A13 processor, so we of course did not want this older phone. I called immediately and left a message (by the time we got home the store has closed). My wife went in to the store on 5/20 hoping we could simply swap that phone for the 3rd generation phone Jessica sold us. Jessica would not believe my wife, was incredibly rude, and would not help at all. I called the store later that day, and Jessica was again rude, would not listen to me, and insisted we were wrong. She refused to help me, kept cutting me off, raised her voice, told me I was not listening to her and that I was taking up her time, AND THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME. Jessica was honestly the rudest salesperson I have ever interacted with. All we wanted was the product we were sold. I called customer service, and this issue will hopefully be resolved soon, no thanks to Jessica of the Broad Street location.
