    Legal threat

    I wish I could give this place zero stars. I go out of my way to warn others about my experience here. They used high-pressure sales tactics and made verbal promises they didn't keep. I bought a car from Anthony Fagan with a cracked windshield. He made a show of having it inspected and promised it would be fixed -- but that never happened. I even signed up for their $50/month Toyota Care plan, which turned out to be a waste. When I left a negative review, Zac Bell, the manager, responded with what I felt was a threatening message, suggesting legal action -- I've attached it here so others can judge for themselves. This was my first major purchase after moving to the area. I regret giving this dealership my business and would strongly urge others to look elsewhere. And this is message is directly for Zac bell: Mr. Bell, I have removed my prior social media comments and would like to move forward constructively. I have every right to share my personal experience in public reviews, as long as the content is truthful and based on opinion -- which it was. I respectfully ask that you refrain from any further legal threats or intimidation. I am documenting this correspondence and will take appropriate steps if harassment continues.     Eastern Shore Hyundai & Toyota - Dishonest Sales Tactics & No Accountability I recently purchased a 2016 Mini Cooper Convertible from Eastern Shore Hyundai and Toyota, and this has been the worst car-buying experience I've ever had. I was repeatedly assured by my salesperson, Anthony Fagan, that the vehicle was in excellent condition and well cared for. That turned out to be far from the truth. Day 2 of ownership: The battery died, and I had to pay $280 for AAA to replace it. A dead battery that soon after purchase raises serious concerns about the so-called "great condition" of this car. Serious Transmission Warning Ignored: Before buying, I noticed a message on the dash stating, "Transmission: Secure vehicle with parking brake when stopped. Consult service center." I asked Anthony about it, and he brushed it off as a "standard message for Minis" because "they like the e-brake on when parked." That was a blatantly ignorant response. Once I took the car home and actually read the full warning, it was clear this was a serious issue. When I reached out, Anthony initially told me the dealership would take care of it and provide a rental. That quickly changed when I spoke to the service department. The service manager refused to fix it, claiming I bought the vehicle as is. The sales manager told me to figure out the problem myself first. After investigating, I discovered the warning was due to dangerously low brake fluid. How did this car pass inspection? * The battery was completely dead after one day. * The brake fluid was almost empty, which is a major safety issue. * A transmission warning was displayed even before I bought it. This was the third vehicle I've purchased from this dealership, and I've referred multiple people to them in the past. But that ends today. This dealership clearly prioritizes quick sales over customer safety and trust. No Accountability & Deceptive Paperwork: * Anthony stopped responding to me completely. * Sales manager Mani is friendly but just tells you what you want to hear with no follow-through. * The service manager couldn't care less. * They claim I purchased the car as is, yet there is no signed documentation confirming this in my paperwork. A blank form in my glove box suggests they were supposed to disclose this, but it was never completed or presented to me. Had I been told this was an as is sale, I would have asked to see all of the service documents on the vehicle and asked about an extended warranty. I even emailed Darrick Heath before buying, outlining concerns about purchasing a used vehicle. Instead of transparency, they saw my questions as an opportunity to make an easy sale, yet they never even attempted to sell me an extended warranty. I've attached screenshots of that email as well. Darrick was the only honest person I interacted with, but everyone else at this dealership is a snake in the grass. I would never buy another car here again, nor will I recommend them to anyone. If you value integrity, safety, and customer service, stay far away from Eastern Shore Hyundai & Toyota.

    I spent a few weeks looking for a specific vehicle online with certain must-have features, low mileage, and a great price. After finding a few at different places between Mobile, Daphne, Ft Walton Beach, and Metairie, I ended up going with one at Eastern Shore Toyota. Aaron Vordermark (aka "Rooster") was the only one from several dealerships who not only replied to my initial email asking if the vehicle was available, but he went above and beyond. He took extra photos of it for me after dark, answered any and all questions I had, and was very patient with me throughout the busy holidays. He has a very friendly personality and never came across as pushy like most salesman do, which is a huge plus with me. After 3 days of back and forth emails with Aaron/Rooster, we drove over on Black Friday when my husband was finally off work. He had it waiting at the front for us to jump right in for a test drive, and around an hour later, we had financing secured, got the keys, and were on the way home in my 2015 Toyota Sequoia Platinum. Honestly couldn't ask for a better experience buying a vehicle. Thank you, Aaron/Rooster!

    They ran a license plate screw through the bracket and through the trunk of the vehicle. Then blamed someone else and refused to fix it.

    I had an absolutely terrible experience with Eastern Shore Toyota. Not only will I never do business with them again I will make sure my family and friends know not to do business with them. The vehicle I purchased was damaged by careless employees and when I brought the damage to their attention they just passed the blame. I have never experienced anything like this. If you are reading this review do yourself a favor and do business elsewhere.

    They were offering great deals on trade ins, up to $5000 over blue book per the front page of their website. I brought my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport in for the trade. They offered me 18k for my Jeep. That's not close to blue book and that doesn't include the lift, tires and rims, custom navigation unit, rear camera and leather seats. I tried showing them what a 18k Jeep looks like and the managers response was we have to make a profit. They weren't even able to match blue book let alone offer anything above like their website is advertising. I feel they were deceptive and dishonest with their advertising. If they'll do this with the trade in I can't imagine buying a vehicle from them: I would stay away. I'm including photos of my jeep.

My vehicle was in very good condition with no issues prior to the visit. I paid $682 expecting professional service. Immediately after picking up my car, I noticed a loud, constant noise coming from the passenger seat area that had never existed before. I gave it a week to see if it would resolve, but it did not. When I returned, the staff dismissed my concern without even properly inspecting the vehicle and told me nothing was wrong. I clearly explained that I was about to complete a long-distance PCS move from Alabama to California and needed my car to be safe. The store manager showed no concern, refused to take responsibility, and sent me away in a vehicle that had developed a new issue after their service. During my road trip, the situation worsened. About 5 hours into the drive, my AC stopped working completely, forcing me to drive for 5 days in uncomfortable and difficult conditions. The noise also became progressively worse. This was extremely stressful, especially as a military family during a PCS move. I trusted this dealership with my vehicle, and instead I was dismissed and left dealing with worsening problems across the country. I have records of my conversation with the store manager regarding this issue. Due to the lack of accountability and the safety concerns involved, I am escalating this matter to Kia corporate and am prepared to take further action to pursue a proper resolution. I am very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and customer care. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.

Had my 2022 RAM 1500 in for warranty service…read moreseveral times and when I call to setup the appointment I always let them know I need a loaner. When I come to drop off the truck they never have a loaner ready or they can get me one but I have to go to Hertz down the road, wait for and take the shuttle there and then wait 20+ minutes at hertz for them to get their act together and prep the vehicle, not to mention the hertz location has a bad sewer odor. Recently I was having issues with my gauge cluster and it had to be replaced. Tameron had my truck for a month while they ordered the new cluster, they gave it back to me and the dimming function wasn't working. They didn't believe me and had to do a side by side comparison with another RAM to see the difference. I mean come on your guys are that inexperienced they couldn't tell it was wrong? I have a transmission issue and they reprogrammed it once; it still clunks and they say "it's operating as designed". Stay away from this place and stay away from the Service Tech Dave. He repeatedly lies, promises he'll call back when a loaner is ready then doesn't and can't ever fix anything properly. Epic fail!
