Dealt with two different salesmen, 1st was TJ, he was attentive to our needs and would give him 4stars. However, when we returned following day we where put with Cortney. He stayed on his phone either talking or texting thru out entire process. Seem to be disinterested in our business. Calvin the finance Mgr. Did most of the work however sold us a vehicle that had not been inspected or detailed, even though been on lot for 4 days, after completing paperwork and paying down payment. I showed the offer to the people at Tameron and a guy name Jay Donkel got me their ultimate package on a lease which was $2,000 less than my local dealer wanted me to pay upfront and got me into a CRV Touring Hybrid AWD instead of a CRV Sport Hybrid AWD. Plus they had more colors, so I didn't have to settle for the color I liked the most, but rather the color vehicle that I wanted. Tameron Honda committed to a deal, then backed out! Sunday I was online looking at new Honda's on the Tameron Honda website, there was a KBB link to value my trade there. I clicked on the link, filled in all the information on my trade, and it gave me a lower dollar amount than I had previously been offered by a competitor. No biggie. Soon after submitting my information for the online appraisal, I received an email from Tameron's internet sales lady, Diana, I replied to her email and explained that I had a better offer elsewhere, she suggested I wait until Monday when I could get a better appraisal from a Manager because oftentimes they can do better than KBB online apprisals, I agreed. Monday morning comes around and I get an email from Diana, she tells me the Manager is looking up the values and she would get back with me very soon. A little later I get an email from the New Car Sales Manager, Tyler Ottis and he tells me he can't get the price I'm was asking. I replied by telling him about the other offer, I also refer him to a link of a similar vehicle, at a local competitor, to mine with their asking price. I then get a phone call from Diana telling me they couldn't get to the price that I was wanting, the best they could do is $26k, I was asking for $27,555. While I'm on the phone with Diana, I get another email from Tyler, he tells me in the email, "I will take a chance and honor that offer at $27,555. Can you make it in today?" While on the phone with Diana and reading this new email from Tyler, I ask Diana to have Tyler call me so we could negotiate the price of the new vehicle. He calls me five minutes later, after a very cordial conversation, we came to terms with the new car and trade value for my truck. I set up an appointment to come to the dealership in two hours. I get to the Tameron Honda, I meet Tyler and a Salesman, they get a little documentation from me and my keys so the used car manager can go look at my truck. A few minutes later he returns, then Tyler comes and tells me that they can't make the deal because the new appraisal is now $2,555 LESS than we had already agreed on. Tyler explained to me that "they" had looked at the wrong vehicle on KBB so the price they gave me wouldn't work. Keep in mind, there is a very long email chain between me, Diana, and Tyler, I NEVER misrepresented my vehicle, not once, I was very specific as to what it was. The mistake was completely on Tameron Honda and Tyler Otis. Of course, by this time, I was very upset, and Otis was apologetic but was not willing to honor the appraisal, as he said in the email, the price he had originally quoted me. We agreed to speak to the General Manager since if anyone could make this "Right" it would be him. Tyler went to the back of the building to get the GM, he came back a few minutes later without the GM, just continuing to "explain" what had gone wrong, but the GM would not come out and speak to me. The fact the GM wouldn't come out and explain why he was not honoring the deal or his New Car Sales Manager tells me all I will ever need to know about Tameron Honda and their management team. They will obviously tell you anything to get you in the door including, but not limited to, lying in writing. Tyler knows I have owned four Honda's in the past, I've bought three Honda's in the last 2.5 years and was looking to buy my 5th. Not here I won't, not ever, and I would recommend NO ONE buy from Tameron Honda ever... they can't be trusted to not only stand behind their word but stand behind their managers. read more

AVOID TAMERON HONDA AT ALL COSTS!!! Let me start off by saying I had no problems with my salesperson, Nora. She was nice and pleasant. However, Nora and I could not able to negotiate the sale. I was trading in my 2020 Honda Accord and the offer Tameron gave me was below KBB value. Nora and I went back and forth twice with negotiations. We were unable to come to an agreement. Fine, no problem. Nora says I MAY be able to get you the price you are asking for but in order for me to do that, I would have to call the general manager on his off day and get this approved. She goes on to say before I call him, I need a commitment from you that you will buy this vehicle. My response was you do not have to call your general manager, we do not need to continue going back and forth with negotiates, I'll come back some other time if I decide to buy this vehicle. Nora got up to get my key from the appraiser, but instead returned with the most IMMATURE, DISRESPECTFUL, man child I have ever dealt with, the sales manager, DAVID GALBRAITH. He plops down in from of me, does not introduce himself, doesn't greet me, instead he aggressively says "do you want this car or not." I said as I told Nora, this is a want, not a need and if we can't come to an agreement, no big deal. He YELLS, "you've been here for over an hour wasting my salesperson's time, either you want the car or you don't." I tell him I do not like your tone or the way you are speaking to me. It was my understanding that Nora was retrieving my car keys so I don't even know why you are here. I said please give me my keys so that I can leave. He YELLS at Nora, " Get her her keys, get her keys so she can leave." He then gets up, SNATCHES the negotiation paper off the table, balls it up, and motions it in the air like is about to shoot a 3 pointer. I tell Nora that was very unprofessional and uncalled for. Her response was that is just the way he is, he speaks to everyone in that manner. I guess he gets results by BULLYING people and I'm willing to bet my last dollar which specific type of people he targets. I don't know what was more disturbing to me, the fact that he acted this way towards me and in front of everyone or that Tameron Honda allows this type of behavior from its employees, and a so called manager at that! read more

My car has a vibration at cruise speeds above 35-40 mph. There was also an issue with a key fob, so I took it by the service department to see if they could look at it some time. They asked if I had an hour or so, they could look at it for me now. It turns out these vehicles do have a vibration which occurs when three of the six cylinders are shut off by the cylinder management system to conserve fuel. There was a test drive with the tech's computer on line. What surprised me was that there was no charge for the diagnosis and checking the fob. read more

By June/July I had ABS lights coming on and when I took it to the dealership (not Tameron) they could not help because the lights would go off before they could work it in. Not only are lights coming on, but I had someone point out that all of the clear coat on the top of my vehicle is GONE as well as starting to fade on the hood. I contacted the dealership and was told to bring it in Monday through Friday to see the service manager. I took off of work to carry it in only to be told that it is not a Honda to possibly take it to a Chevy dealership to see if they could inquire about the paint or if I could bring it back another day, they could possibly try something to see if it would help the top. SO, not even a full 9 months and the paint looks TERRIBLE and if it rains or I hit my breaks suddenly, I have lights appear. We went looking for a car upgrade for our family. We were met and greet promptly by a young man. He was nice and professional. He used many terms that I am unfamiliar with repeatedly. I asked him to be aware that I was unfamiliar with his terminology. I requested to look at used cars, but was not shown any. I was shown only new models. He continued to ask me to go inside and fill out paperwork or look up things on the computer. I continued to refuse and state that I want to see the cars since reading dimensions on a computer screen doesn't help me. He finally agree to show me a car but insisted that I wait for him to bring it around. Basically I was not allowed to walk the grounds. He kept me right at the main building. He couldn't answer many of my questions. If he did, it seems as if he was repeating what he learned from a presentation and not from true knowledge or experience.
