I can't remember the last time I got a 10% raise--probably never. They recently relocated to the far end of the shopping center, and I guess someone has to cover the cost--looks like it's the clients. I'm not saying I'll never come back, but I'll most likely be getting most of my massages in Flushing from now on. They charge about half the price. And apparently, prices are going up another $10 soon. OK then. Uh now, instead of giving me a small bottle of water, they offer half a tiny paper cup--the kind you usually see in a bathroom. It's also concerning not knowing where the water is coming from or how clean those little cups actually are. Didn't like that! Hmm

Visiting from out of state, this was our first time at New Garden Spa\. Upon arrival I called to…read moremake a reservation for 2 and requested Jason for my guest\. The massage experience was mixed; while my guest Jason found his massage to be good, my own experience was less satisfactory as the pressure was too hard and uncomfortable at times\. However, the checkout process was the most concerning part of the visit\. After paying for two 90\-minute massages, I left what I believed to be an appropriate tip, and was then informed that there is a **mandatory $20 minimum tip** that had not been disclosed beforehand\. I was asked to adjust the gratuity, which made the checkout experience uncomfortable\. If a minimum gratuity is required, it should be clearly stated in advance or included in the service pricing\. Overall, the combination of the overly intense massage pressure and the checkout experience impacted our impression of the visit, and we are unlikely to return\.

I'm honestly confused by all of the positive reviews because our experience was completely…read moredifferent. We booked a 45-minute foot massage, and unfortunately it was extremely disappointing. There was barely any pressure at all, to the point where I could hardly even feel the massage. On top of that, about 75% of the time was spent massaging my legs rather than my feet, which was frustrating considering we specifically came for a foot massage. The biggest issue was that the massage definitely did not last the full 45 minutes that we paid for. Between the lack of pressure, very little time actually spent on the feet, and being shorted on the time, I left feeling like it was a complete waste of money. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this place based on our experience.
