The server was wonderful, especially considering she was cashier, server, and food runner. We waited over 30 minutes for our food - an omelet, sausage, and home fries and toast for one of us and 2 eggs over easy with bacon and homefries with biscuit for the other. When it arrived we got a runny egg omelet, hard burnt sausage, two well done eggs and biscuit was a bit dry. The potatoes and bacon were the only items that were good. Oh well, still on the hunt for a good diner I guess.

His wife and cofounder Gerri has kept the business cooking (pun intended). It's still among the best whole hog BBQ I've ever eaten - and I've eaten a lot. Grady's pork is amazing, especially topped with slaw and their Eastern NC sauce. The sides are incredible. The desserts look wonderful (have never been able to find room, but one of these days...). Prices are reasonable (but be warned: this is a cash-only place). If you're on the way to the beach, go to Grady's. If you're coming back from the beach, go to Grady's. If you're within 100 miles, go to Grady's. Heck, if you're anywhere on the East Coast, go to Grady's. It's that good!

When you walk in a very nice lady meets you and takes you to your table. She will give you a tray with a plate, a lipped bowl and a small plain bowl and a pair of matching number plates. This is not a Buffett but does per that way. As best we can tell there is no menu. 3. You walk to the buffet looking island and start loading. The plate is for the noodles, rice and veggies. The lipped bowl is for your protein which for lunch was chicken or beef chunks. The small bowl is for the sauce like teriyaki, Mongolian or garlic. Load all you want as this is a one trip deal. There are noodles, rice and a large assortment of raw vegetables. Almost no labels. The sauces are labeled. There are also two mystery bowls Bessie the sauces. One is a straight forward minced garlic sauce. The red one is pure hell Fire apparently watching Will try and eat it. 4. After you have loaded your items you set your try on the counter with one of your metal number plates next to the hibachi grill. 5. They cook your try full of deliciousness and then put it into a bowl and bring it you at the table after they find your number. This is what the second number is for. It stays with you and if you move to the edge she will be able to see it. It was a fun experience but they really need to label things and provide some instruction either at the table or on the front side of the buffet. I found a diagram of the tray layout on the backside of the buffet. All and all it was good eating and a lot of fun. Since Will lives only 30 minutes way he advised he will be bringing the family. Don't judge the place by the sign or the strip mall it is located in. We plan on returning. Fun time and good food.
