I went to pick up shirts. I had multiple slips. They were 6 shirts short per the slips I presented. Their response was that I was wrong. That I brought in 6 less shirts, however they can't prove it, they just told me I was wrong (even though I had and presented the claim ticket along with several others).
For the loss of $6 shirts they offered $10 credit - as if I would ever trust them again and use a credit with a company that looses clothing. It was a ridiculous accommodation, as $10 would not have bought a sleeve of one shirt.
Their excuse was that they voided a receipt, however at the time of drop-off they made no mention of a void being necessary, nor did they contact me to explain the situation on the day of the drop off or whenever they 'discovered the void" had happened.
How can you trust that the articles you give them don't walk out the back door, get damaged in processing, or a whole host of other possibilities. No there policy is just to blame the customer. It was my fault I had a pickup slip and they had no corresponding shirts. It was impossible for it to be anything but MY ERROR.
MY ERROR, was going there and trusting them with my clothes. I ask anyone, when you entrust your clothes to a cleaners and they give you a claim check, shouldn't you expect to get back exactly what clothes are represented on the claim checks, and not be told we made some mistake and to cover our mistake we are going to tell you, the customer, that you are wrong, not us. They had several days to bring this to my attention, they had my phone number, they made no attempt to notify me of any "mistake."
BEWARE IF YOU EVER EVEN CONSIDER USING THIS COMPANY. read more
